Anyone else here get the 8.4.5 update? I got it about 3-4 weeks ago and just a couple of days ago, got 8.4.6. Sent a message to Amazon to see what was fixed/added, but didn't get any information yet.
Wondering if it would effect rooting/installing CWM or CM mods.

So for the past week about 50% of my messages are never received by people with different phones and carriers. I've done 5 battery/SIM pulls and factory restored 3 times with and ODINED to bone stock ROM and Radios once. I seem to receive everyone else's messages.
I called Verizon and they created a ticket for technicians to find out what's going on. I just was wondering if anyone else ever had this problem and what they did to fix it? They said it could take up to a week and that's just too long to let this happen. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.
I have started getting this more more.starting a few days ago. About the time I flashed AOKP build 31. I am going to go back to Milestone 4 to test.

Been getting these ever since the phone was new...a lot like the E4GT did when the 4G was turned on running custom ROMs? It does this just enough to be anoying, not enough to take it in and complain...yet!
I'm rooted and stock ROM, but it did it on blazer ROM too. Also did it completely stock - no root! Back then with the shortages of phones I thought I'd wait to do something and hope maybe a software update might come in to save the day? lol
I guess it does it about once/day on average. Anyone else getting this?
Never happened to me thankfully in about 2 months of owning the phone.
This happened to mine as well... I guess its a TWiz glitch because it has not happened since I switched to CM10. Try an AOSP ROM and see if it helps. I used to get daily reboots just like you.

I have had this phone for about 2 months now, runned a couple of custom roms, and I've never seen that.
ok, I guess I'll take it in to sprint store and see what they say...If they're feeling generous maybe they'll just replace it?
Well, I spent some time with a Sprint Technician last week trying to fix this "reseting" problem. The gal told me she'd call on Saturday to see if the phone had reset at all ...in other words to see if what she had done fixed my problem? Well she never called me back!!! So I phoned Sprint on Monday and told them it had reset twice on me in the time period
So, the gal I talked with created an "E-Ticket"? Then told me to take the phone to my local store and let them determine what to do next...My question is this:
I'm rooted and running stock right now (LI3) Both Modem and ROM.
Should I do a restore to stock before I go in?
Will they be able to tell that I was rooted?
Will they care?
Or should I just take the phone in like it is and be above board with them the whole way?
They prolly won't believe me when I tell them the phone did this when it was bran new un-rooted
Anyone?
This is probably not the response for which you are looking, but I have zero problems of any kind. I have been running the LIG leak since the day that it became available. I wish that I had some insight for you or could be of help.
What's the longest you have kept your phone on without a reboot/battery dieing?
Just curious as I noticed its been like a week and a half since my phone last died

My current uptime is 266 hours. Not on a single charge. That shown in there is since the last reboot.
Mine is low for my norm because I recently reflashed AOKP 4.3. Probably about to update again here within the next couple of days.
I remember someone posting in a thread like this sometime ago that they went for 7 months without rebooting

Some articles are saying between January, February, March, or April.
I'm pretty sure, it's January! ?
There's no news, but hopefully on April as old news.
spoke to a guy at the Samsung kiosk at Best Buy a few days ago and he said
they are expecting 6.0 in about 2 weeks. they updated me from 4.4.4 to 5.1.1
a few weeks ago when i bought the Note.
I got an ota today but I have no idea what it entailed. I'm still 5.1.1. Lol

I wouldn't trust anything the Best Buy guys say. When 5.1.1 was first released, I went to get it flashed and they refused to do it because I was using Nova Launcher. They claimed that because it wasn't the stock launcher, I had modified my phone, therefore they couldn't help me. I simply uninstalled Nova and then they were willing to flash.
I mean, our phones have locked bootloaders, so I CAN'T modify my phone even if I wanted to. Not to mention that 3rd party launchers are only software, available on the Play Store, and are NOT modifications to the phone.
Oh, and also, while I was getting the phone flashed (finally), I watched as they were helping a guy who was using the stock email app and was able to receive email, but couldn't send anything. The BB guy spent an hour calling the email provider's tech support. All the problem was, was that the guy had improperly put in the outgoing server settings. Easy fix that doesn't even take 5 minutes to fix.
Simply put, these guys only know 3 things:
1) how to sell
2) how to flash or factory reset
3) whatever the specs on the box say

Hello guys. I just updated my Galaxy Note 4 AT&T SM-N910A. It was in 4.4.4 so I downloaded the 5.1.1. I flashed with Odin. Now it stuck on "Android is starting" and restarts all the time.
