I was Install UNOFFICIAL ROM Bada 2 to My S8500 But there are a lot of problems .
So I decided to re-install the official version of the old but I can't Because of this error message appears when you attempt Flashing the official rom .
'Error : Amms Write [0.2s]' .
Is there a solution? .
This is the way in which I Flashing ROM .
1- use Downloader v5.67
2-Select ( LSI Mode ) + Full Download .
3-Access to the download Mode .(Press Voul .Down + Power + Lock key )At the same time .
4-And finally Click (DOWNLOAD) from Loader .
What happens is only this message appears 'Error : Amms Write [0.2s]' . .

what's your old firmware version ?
are you shure it's a full version or only an update ? you need in first a full version if you want to come back in bada 1
Make sure Kies is closed before you flash.
Is still an ongoing problem
Did not solve the problem now to the same previous error message returned and appeared again .
Is there another way to solve this problem ?

it seems your device driver
try to remove it
install again
put your mobile in download mode
connect your mobile via usb (without multiloader)
wait till your computer search and install the driver (win7)
disconnect
now try to do the steps of flashing
edit:charge your mobile

sorry to open a new thread for a probably rare issue , but my problem seems to be NOT related to a particular ROm.
I have my p3660 perfectly running with Mun 2.01 TE WWE WM6 ROM .
I tried many times to update to one of the new roms available in thiese days (both WWE and Italian ROMs )
everytime I'm blocked by the same problem during the upgrading procedure :
I try to describe what happen :
1) the device is connected to the PC with AS 4.5 and the sync is completed.
2) After having launched " romupgradeutility" , the sequence of three steps seems to be ok and I arrive to see the page where there is the bar graph starting a 0% and the recommendation " do not disconnect the device ..."
3) nothing happens for 10-15 seconds
4) A warning message referring to " error 202" arrive ; it seems that the device is not connected to the PC , but in reality the device IS connected and IS NOT in bootloader mode. The device is perfectly running as in any other normal sync session .
So , this stops the upgrade procedure
If I repeat the same from 1) , same result
In the past ( and the last !) rom upgrade , I remember I was forced to restart after the bootloader mode arrived into the device , but this is not the case.
I tried :
a) soft rest the device
b) restart PC
c) reinstall AS on the PC
4) change the cable ..
with out any result
( PC with XP )

Try removing the cable and plugging back in. That helped me..

i installed wrong rom to acer smartphone E101 and its dont work now , its open and show acer logo then restart ...... i tri install correct rom using SD card but the install screen don't appear.

i have " HP IPAQ hx2410 " with WM2003 CE 1.10.0 and i upgraded with this window 5.2 it upgraded successfully but i m stuck on the first loading screen. its stuck when loading complete i have tried every thing such as boot-loader thing and also cant downgrade it . . . so kindly plzzz any one tell me how can i go to my initial state on wm2003 ASAP.

I just had the same symptoms with my e100. and i found out that u can force it to boot by pressing volume up + camera with the silence button up. As soon as the version of your ROM appears on the screen (should b about 3~4 sec) release both button to start windows, release volume up to go clean boot, or release the camera button to go flah ROM (in case u want to flash a new ROM from the sd card - must b 256/512mb formated in fat16).
The Problem can be solved just follow the instructions :
1- Press the camera and the restart button with the sound switcher down (silent mode)
2- Your device will boot to the download mode.
3- download the original rom from global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/OS/OS/OS_Acer_2.003.04.EN_WM65_A.zip?acerid=634013918060286729&Step1=Smart%20Handheld&Step2=beTouch%20Series&Step3=E101&OS=M02&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=EMEA_1
4- unrar the rom and press setup during the setup it will tell that active sync is not connected , ignore the window and go to program files(86x)\EUU you will find a folder called imageupdater copy the folder to use it later.
5- download this tool .mediafire.com/?ubilx69aawdbrnu
6- unrar the downloaded files move imageupdater in (4-) to the same folder
7- Run DownloadForm_2005 ( for win 7 right click run as administrator)
8- Have fun .

Friends,I recently flashed my wave 2 s8530 to bada 2 and yesterday when i tried to flash it june update indian firmware(s8530 DDKF1) ,the flashing failed midway.I was getting rsrc1 erase error.I tried to flash it again still d error didn't go.After some time my phone showed "SOFTWARE UPDATE FAILED" error.Now i can't even enter the download mode.When i try,the download mode comes and after 5 sec the screen becomes blank or d software update error shoots up...I dont know what to do and I dont want to give it to the service center because i need the cell in working condition by sunday...Please help.
Try these options:
1. Make sure all necessary drivers are installed.
2. USe the correct version of multiloader to flash (flashing back from a different bada version usually has problems with multiloader v5.62 e.g. erase error).
3. Remove battery from phone for a mimumum of 10 minutes. Then insert battery again. Please borrow a fully charged battery from a friend (as yours obviously cannot be charged now).
4. Try flashing again.

Just dont panic its simple just flash the fota file which has came with the firmware you downloaded. Please just tick fota in multiloader and nothing else. ir. dont tick boot change & full download. Because you are just flashing 1 file.
And your problem will be solved.

I have tried that but the problem program multiuploader Does not work and the following message appears " Warring : Security fail!! " .

Disconnect the phone from the USB device and restart MultiLoader.
Then try again
you must put your wave in the download mode
if you phone is off press vol up + camera +end call button do come in the download mode
now plug your phone with the usb-datacable and click on the multiloader on search port (i think) now you can flash the fota file to you wave

Guys, a follow up to what Majdi_star wrote,
After I downloaded a bada2.0 firmware from SAMFIRMWARE I got a white screen with the same error in RED. The problem is that there was NO FOTA file in the ZIP I downloaded.

Please download and flash with a full (complete) firmware.
A full firmware has a the FOTA file included.
First I installed Android KitKat C ROM. It was lagging so I decided to install bada 2.0, I used multiloader .But error appears on the screen "FOTA engine is not installed" and my phone keeps getting restarted.
PLEASE HELP...!!!

when white screen appears, it goes to download mode for a fraction of second then comes back again. sometime t goes blank then nothing happens

i bought the SM-P607T during my deployment in Afghanistan over Ebay USA . Spending my time there i tested the device and installed all updates etc. Back in Germany just my wife used it. Some weeks ago i noticed that an update to Lollipop should be avaible so i took the device to bring it up to date and i noticed some problems.
(Please note that i am just a noobie to flashing and rooting android and just follow guides to get to my goal.)
1. Device only loading while shut down. (After rooting and installation of TWRP it strangely started to load while on again even on PC USB connection)
2. Its not possible to connect the device with any PC.
3. OTA updates stop at around 27% and fail (KitKat 4.4.4)
[In TWRP shown
"E: Error executing updater binary in zip /data/fota/update.zip
E: Error installing zip file /data/fota/update.zip"]
Strange enough that the update info shown in android is Chinese Version
Tried to get some support with Samsung Europe but unfortunately they say US device US problem......
So what did i do in the meantime
1. Tried different loading devices frome Samsung and 3rd party companys. No changes.
2. Tried several different data cables to connect to 4 different PC. Even the one wich worked good with my Honor7 or the Galasy S4 mini dont do with the 607
3. My last try to fix this problem was to change the USB charging dock completely. Also didn´t change anything.
4. Now the step where i am currently stuck. I managed to root the device and install TWRP(v2.8.7.0) . Now tried to install Version P607TUVUBOI2 via SD Card.
Just followed diffenrent Guides on youtube and forums but im stuck at this.
Here is the message i got in TWRP recovery:
"Installing /external_sd/1/TMB-P607TUVUBOI2-20510930112901.zip
Checking for MD5 file....
Skipping MD5 check : no MD5 file found
Error flashing /external_sd/1/TMB-P607TUVUBOI2-20510930112901.zip
updating partition details......

I really confused about your description? you using twrp to flash a .zip rom? then you mentioned about .md5 rom on your pc? how did you flash? With .md5 rom you need to use Odin to flash. Can you boot into download mode (hold down volume down + Home buttons then press power button)? If you able to boot to download mode, your pc should able to see the device and you would use Odin to flash the .md5 rom from your pc to the device. Also where did you download the .zip rom?
