I had those 2 HTC diamond to unlock... I tried solution posted in this forum: with first phone all went wright and I manage to unlock it after some trys on step 3... the second phone crash on step 2.. now it does'nt turn ON, and can't enter BOOT MODE (tricolor mode), and battery is ok!
Please help me recover this phone!
Same problem. Diamond totaly dead during flashing. Any chance to turn on for reflashing? Nothing like hard reset or removing batery working.

ok first there is not dead diamond put your battery in phone and connect with pc download rom update or flasher or some hard spl fixers and instal it on your device
because when is there tricolor at the bottom of the screen when device is not conected there is word SERIAL, and if you connect there is word USB so do not crash your self just be patient.........

Contact this man by Skype- elco_nsdongle. He repairs dead Omnias. If you'll find diamond shematics I think he'll be able to help you.

Hi I was try to to flash some cooked ROM and my Diamond tells that is incorect Image. Then restart and start to bootloader. So i try to send another Rom but after restart its freeze on "HTC Diamond" screen. Ill try Hard reset many times with no result.
After thay I tryed to turn Diamond Off (Remove battery and put it back). In turned off Diamond I press and hold volume down + press and hold reset and turn the Diamond on. This it bring him to Bootloader.
Try it if it works for you.

First of all Hello
I've been trying to update my XDA2i Pocke PC for more than an hour
and every time I start the Update Operation I got an error message and the operation corrupt agian it prompts me to reset it, after the reset, it informs me to disconnect the Pocket and Cardle USB, and reconnect it Again but it gave me a message on its screen told me Serial on the top of the screen, and on the buttom V1.01< What should I do?
Please Help me to get it alive again because it's dead now, and it won't work anymore, I need the method of booting it up, what are the buttons combinations to enter the boot again.
and If you gave the ROM Update for it, I'd be so grateful!! :lol:

Are you using a usb hub to connect, if you are then try plugging in direct to usb port. You will not be able to boot until you complete the flashing procedure, the program has probably wiped your previous rom.

while doing the gps upgrade, I was doing step 4 (Run the Alltel ROM exe file ) it failed at 8% then sent me to a recovery page after i removed the battery my touch wont do anything ,i tried soft reset ,camera and even hard .the only time i see anything is when i plug a usb cable in ,just a red light in the speaker hole.
try getting it to bootloader (hold power button, camera button and soft reset button) it should display a tricolor screen. now just plug in the usb cable and reflash the same rom or a different one

What is the bootloader version you are using? 0.4 or 2.31
If you see 2.31.CoKE, you should be fine, but read more, more, more!!!

I rom updated.. phone works but get a USB not recognized error when i plug it into any xp box.
I guess i need to try an activesync cab file..
if that doesn't work.. i'll reflash a rom through SD method once i find out how.

1- No any Boot Loader it com > Black Screen
2- I Cant Make Hard Reaset .
3- I Cant Open Boot Loader Screen.
4- If I Put in USB The Computer is not Read.
What I do? Please Help me and any Person he have Answer in My Trobel Please Give me Step By Step What Shod I do.

Try to follow the correct flashing procedure: disable the USB connection in connections setting on your AS, remove all cards, put your JasJar in a bootloader and re-flash.

What i can do?
How do you know the battery is fully charged if Jasjar shows no charge? Have you got an external charger? I read somewhere that if the battery goes very low you have to charge it with a wall charger instead of USB.
I've also read that if you remove the battery, press the reset hole for some 10 seconds and while still pressing it, re-insert the battery and let go of the reset hole it will restart normally.
Did you drop the Jasjar? Did it come in contact with water, coffee, tea, vapour, toilet?
Are you careful or clumsy when inserting USB lead? You may have damaged the USB port in Jasjar.
Hi all u guys out there hope someone can help me i installed this rom on my diamond the name was TEAL or some like that the first few times it was fine but then my battery was running low and then when i turned my diamond on again i had 2 setup mobile and now it just keep showing the screen that says it wanna setup and i cant acess USB from there so plz if u can help me recover my diamond plz reply
try update from Boot Screen
Blackster..try updatin frm boot screen..go in boot screen & then connect it to usb & try updatin the ROM...
to get in your bootscreen just reset your device while holding the volume down button

Follow 1st Two steps by clicking next...
no need to perform mentioned task in RUU.
Connect USB Cable PC to Diamond...
On diamond hold on off button and volume down button and hit reset button on back..
you will forwarded to boot screen on diamond...
It will automaticly identify u'r USB connection to PC...
Once it displays USB on diamond boot menu, Hit Update button on RUU running on PC...
Then follow the RUU instructions...
Once finished, you have done...

Well, 2 all. I booted my Diamond with a 6.5 ROM. Normallt, it worked well. But this time, the ROM got some mistake that when it was goin' to finish, it froze it still kept the static in 30 mins later, and I got to reset it. Then, my Diamond restarted, and... froze at the Bootloader screen (3 colors screen) ( I tried all things to recover it, searching on the web, but nothing's ok I plugged it into my PC and my PC doesn't recognize it ( anyone knows out there plz help!!!!!!!
which version of windows operating system are you using. also try to reset and then again go into bootloader MANUALLY by pressing volume down key. see if the pc detects. also do you have ur stock rom?

enter bootloader, connect to PC. in white bar the 'Serial' will change to 'USB'
then you can run customeRUU to flash again
if the PC don't detect, try on other PC.
Well, if u know how to up ROM via PC then tell me, because I often up ROM directly on my Diamond, not via PC. And I plugged it to PC and the word "Serial" disappeared, but the word "USB" did not display on the screen
