I have try the ROM of AX3L and Mary and use it at China using China Mobile SIM, it can dial out and send/receive sms but cannot receive call, why ? Can I make any changes let it work ?
In addition, I don't have any problem with both of these two ROM when using it in Hongkong.
What Radio version are you using perhaps this may be the cause of your problem

Did you try the "connection setup" program? It should be around here somewhere..
There is also Advanced configuration tools But at the moment the operator part only supports European networks. But maybe they can add some settings for you

The link for Advanced Config. is for the old v 0.9 not v1.0
radio version
I have try both 1.46.x and 1.50.x, it have same problem. May be I should try the configuration setup as upper reply say .

Thanks but its not it, the one in bepe's rom is different (its an autodetecting type and it contains more countries)
hmm... i think this one does have some autodetect option...
oh well, hope you find it cause sounds good to me too haha..

World Network Wizard - not for P3600i?
Hi. Me new here, so pls be a little more patient for a while! )
After happily getting myself this new P3600i WM6 Eng toy, I set in the SIM and discovered that the Asian Network Wizard says my operator is not supported (I am in Europe). At the same time it does let me call and receive calls, although shows me in roaming (with no roaming charges so far.
I did not find the way to add countries and operators to the lists in that asian NW, so started looking for the European NW patch. Thanks to ron1004 and taiseer, I got "world network wizard" cab, but it does not seem to work: when installing, it mentions that it may not show up properly since it was made for the previous version of the sw (not exactly the citation, but smth similar). After the installation the original NW is not replaced and I see no other program icon that would enable me change my country/operator.
Is there any solution to that?
The unit has (all factory installed):

protocol 32.79.7020.19H
PS: HTC support is absolute sh.t: their new site shows no sw for the p3600i their hotline keeps footballing (me) from Aussi to HK to European locales, their emails do not reach me on either of my emails!
I'd tryed some ROM of D810 included official version.But all version have same problem that is miss internet mail box setting when reset or down.why?Maybe the WM6's problem?

I'd success used the software but missed again for one day and some reset.I run the software again and success again.I don't how long it can alive.

via usb using upgrade tools
in new room all (bluetooth, sim tools etc.) in english
In TT Yoo tryed set gps at com4 with 9600 bps ?

W800 doesn't have fm radio, sms'es works with sim without pin code. Wait I test this in new rom.
Rom upgrade is easy, but always exists risk - memory may be crash during rom upgrade.

1. conect Your w800 to pc - via activesync (activesync connection must be active)
2. extract rared rom in catlogue with upgrade programs euus.exe, USBDLUpdate_Console.exe ,upgrade.bat.
3. Rename g500_wm6.1_RB2.bin to temp.dat
4. run upgrade.bat
5. updater runs automatically -(You must answer a cuestions) - don't turn off w800 and disconnect usb cable
5. wait to end of room writing
6. upgrade ended with w800 restart with new rom
I have a problem when i sent sms messages.
Some time i get a fault message with ''message was not sent.try again?''
And the message delay is to long to the sender
i'm using the latest htc NLD ROM , had the same with aztor x2
Before it was always working fine.with the older roms ..
Is there any with this problem??? please come with a solution Thanks...

if your device works... (I'm not inside it) can be only caused by 2 things: radio or operator
which radio do you have? & if you put your sim into another device does it work? if yes the problem is in radio, try to re-install or simply install a new/more recent one (1.00.25.8 or even more)

rest all function is ok even wifi is ok.

Ok first of all there are few service provider cab you can find for your country... well i had problem to get GPRS working tried the customer service but no use... then i installed the cab (for me it's optus, Australia) and i didn't need to touch settings at all .. it just connected automatically to GPRS... so best option will be to find the appropriate service provider cab for your country and install...

but the issue is not with settings , i just want to make sure whether it is some hard ware issue, all functions are perfectly ok and it is a friends handset and we have used gprs some time back also.

Bro it's really hard to tell weather it's hardware isuue or not from such a little information... but it should not be hardware issue in my opinion... well try different service provider and try to install the cab and see... it should work...
