ARABIC Messages

Dear all,
Just wondering if anyone else is having same problem. I had English Build on my JASJAR, but was unable to read or send Arabic messages. I installed the latest ARABIC Build. but know i can send message in ARABIC Language but the message received in ARABIC Language are not readable they are received as (??????????????????????????).
I have tried both enabling arabic and disabling arabic and have also restarted the device after enabling/disabling.
Following are my device info.
ROM Version: 1.30.82 WWE
ROM Date: 02/22/06
Radio: 1.09.00
ExtRom: 1.30.171 WWE
Would appreciate if some one can help mewith this.

I had the same problem but only if the other phone I am sending to is not localized in Arabic...try to send it to a full Arabized phone and let u know...

I tried to send the same ??????????????????????????????? message that I received to Nokia mobiles its working, I'm sending ??????????????????????????? but they are receiving message in arabic. Tried to send same to siemens mobile but they were unable to read the message.

I think you must instal the last arabic files (it will fix your problem)

Anybody has the Arabizer software that does work on the Universal and does not required a serial number?

Yes the problem is only in receving the message text. It's nto readable.
I've installed the lates ARABIC ROM, That was released officially on club imate site.
If I'm writing message to send it is readable. But as soon I'll send to my own mobile. it will receive as ????????????? but other will receive it as normal arabic message.
By the way, in the latest ARABIC ROM, ARABIZER is available.

Hello, i'm having kind of the same problem,
i have an english rom as well, (T-mobile 2.26). I put arabizer suite build 342 on there and i am able to read arabic text messages no problem, now i am unable to send readable messages whatsoever, the recipient always gets a ??????? in the messages.
how can this be fixed?

2. Go to menu.
3. Choice options.
4. Choice text messages.
5. Choice ( Use Unicode when necessary ).........

I have Xda Orbit UK English (WM5) and will upgrade to WM6 rom soon. Often I receive text messages in Arabic, the arabic words in these messages appear with separated arabic letters (not making the word). The Arabic fonts seem to come from Pocket Islam. Do you have any idea how I can get these arabic text messages to apear correctly. Also would like to be able to wrirte arabic SMS. I do not need to make the Pocket PC in Arabic only SMS and perhaps email.
Would the the software you provide here be ok for me

Thank you for the Arabizer software but i installed it on my JasJar but it didn’t work correctly. When I tried to open the dictionary or Prayer Time applications, it gave this error "Can not run on this device". Any advice?
Appreciate your feedback.

I've iMate K-Jam (Wizard) not a Universal, but I used to have the same problem when I upgraded to WM6, the problem was in the Arabizer version that I used to install
the attached Arabizer have solved my problem in all the programs that is using Arabic, I've to un-install the old one first.
but the only problem that left for me is the hardware keyboard, it didn't support writing in arabic, but it's ok for me
Please let me know if this solution is working with any of you, cause I'm thinking of exchanging my mobile with Universal

im using htc touch p3450, official rom with arabic enabled. unfortunately the mesgs im getting with arabic font but not readable. i used to forward the same to my n73 so i can read easily.

Help Pls - After M3100 Upgrade to Duttys WM6 Premium V2 - Issues with receiving calls

I upgraded my Orange SPV M3100 with Dutty's Windows Mobile 6 Premium v2

I followed the exact instructions as per the following guide

Everything went fine and the phone seems to be having no issues apart from the following issue of receiving calls.
My Network - Virgin
ROM Version : WM6.Premium.v2
ROM Date : 17 April 2007
Radio Version : 1.41.00.10
Protocol Version 32.74.7020.18H
If I call it from the landline it sounds as though its ringing but actually does not respond. The phone won't rings. The calling person is getting 'The is a fault' or 'Please check the number you have dialed'.
Even I tried to reset as many times.
I even switched the network to using GSM ONLY. But still happening...
But I can make calls with no problem.
Please help

i had the same problem also and im using tmobile(US), but i just used a different rom.

Any other software running on the phone? If so, try uninstalling.

1.Try reflashing it. Some times works after reflashing or
2.Try with another Radio Rom

I am running the following softwares only
1. TomTom Navigator
2. spbBackup
3. spbWeather
Apart from that none..
I even reflashed the Radio Rom..Still havinng problems..
Found an interesting reading here

suggesting that it might be the 3G of TMobile UK, but I belive I haven't had the issue for the past 4 monhts having my M3100 with original Orange WM5 ROM.
Thinking of going back to the latest WM5 rom from Orange

Then try as the wise Abo Forat suggested and reflash the ROM - I would re-download it too. (Or try a different one.)

But plz be careful and read mrvanx downgrade guide otherwise u brick your phone. Still u can try reflashing

ROM version of AX3L and Mary Problem

I have try the ROM of AX3L and Mary and use it at China using China Mobile SIM, it can dial out and send/receive sms but cannot receive call, why ? Can I make any changes let it work ?
In addition, I don't have any problem with both of these two ROM when using it in Hongkong.

What Radio version are you using perhaps this may be the cause of your problem

Did you try the "connection setup" program? It should be around here somewhere..
There is also Advanced configuration tools But at the moment the operator part only supports European networks. But maybe they can add some settings for you

The link for Advanced Config. is for the old v 0.9 not v1.0

radio version
I have try both 1.46.x and 1.50.x, it have same problem. May be I should try the configuration setup as upper reply say .

D810 WM6 always miss internet mail box

I'd tryed some ROM of D810 included official version.But all version have same problem that is miss internet mail box setting when reset or down.why?Maybe the WM6's problem?

I'd success used the software but missed again for one day and some reset.I run the software again and success again.I don't how long it can alive.

guys i am new with my i-mate jasjam(herm 100).. and i had a problem with my sms service. i was not able to send sms with any sim card. so i installed some titanium edition wm 6.5 rom(previously i had wm5). and when i sync it with my pc i found that it was a trial version and it expired now giving me a white screen written
"this concludes the beta test of this software release. thank you very much for your time and effort in helping make this a great product for our costumers.
to obtain a newer release or further info, please revisit the web site that you used to obtain your current beta release."
now i am not able to access any thing on my i-mate. even active sync is not able to synchronize with the pc.
i only want install a good windows(rom) in it. so can any body help me with this problem of mines in easy way.like giving me a direct link to official rom and instructions to install it,,,

i got the solution for expired version from another xda thread. hard reset did the job.
but i still need a official rom.wm 6 or latest.if dont than atleast please give me some link for wm5 official rom. i dont want to play with roms just give me a rom with which i can use my i-mate jasjam peacefully and also i can send sms to my friends... please help me thank you!!

Use this. It's a cab file so just install it, then run the program. Use your current network.
What happens sometimes is the proper settings are not set up, so you end up with your situation.

need that apllication for wm6

i tried that software but it is not displayed any where, while installing it gave an caution that it was designed for previous windows.
so i got the name of it (i;e htc your application name). ill search for it on net for wm6.
please if get it from some where so do post the link. thanx a lot.
