Karmba_a HELP .. problem with bluetooth in most of your roms

Hi everyone..
These days, when it is rare to find roms with less bugs in.
I believe that the best roms that ever came are ( KARMBA ) roms.
I tried most of karmba roms- from 5 to 7.1 - & planed to stick with it till my trinity suffers
BUT now we have a problem with SENDING A BIG file - like 2 or 3 MB - by Bluetooth , the device hangs up & you have to soft reset sometimes
It is OK in receiving
I tried several programs like Resco Explorer , Dr.Yar and other Bluetooth programs some of them hangs and some stops working
So can you Mr Karmba or anyone help to solve this problem?

i have the same problem...........and no one helped me

yes same problem with tom codon-black&blue.
didn't experience it thu with bepe 0.76.
any idea people what's wrong?

ALL wm6 roms have this bug

have you tried by constantly awakening your device by touching the screen, or scroll buttons? Maybe it's a power problem, after some time it just turn of itself and goes to some power management mode

I tried that but it didn't help.

downgraded from karamba 7.1 to bepe 0.76 and bluetooth big files transfers is working gr8 again!
before jumping to conclusions i hope if someone else did the same and tell us if it works with him/her too.

So, you think the problem is with the RADIO...
because now I am using 1.50.xx.x

maybe it's the WM6 built
seems all is having pbs with bluetooth.
but guys, does anyone have BT working as it should be? what's ur radio and rom??

I don't know if this helps but I am using AX3L's Lite ROM and I am sending big files (30-50 MB, especially music, videos, movies, etc.) and is all working ok!
Rest of bluetooth activity is also ok. So maybe it is a problem with your ROMs?

could it be due to the radio ...???
people who say it's working all use 1.46.00.11 ...
i'll try and keep u posted ...

i tried the 1.46.00.11 radio ...
and guess what ... no change at all ...
i guess it's the rom then ...

from pc to ppc without problem,
but from ppc to other mobile or pc

still nothing
any breakthroughs ... bluetooth wise?
it still cant send filez > 2mb ???

Yesterday I've sent a 173MB file via bluetooth and several media files of approx. 50MB each through bluetooth to a notebook, a SE phone and a Polaris.

It's working in every direction with no problems at all using the specs in my signature.

I really like the finixnover 3.0.2 ... but cant get the bluetooth to work with it ... dunno why !!
btw which program do u use for the transfer ...
i tried transfering byt the file explorer .. it worked .. unfortunately it didn't have progress bar
by resco explorer ... didn't!!
i wanted resco because of the progress bar
I guess i'll give AXel a try ... any other advices???

internal GPS stopped working with P3300

Hey I've just install WM6 on my HTC P3300 and the GPS stopped working at all and navigation software doesn't even know that there is internal GPS what can I do ? (I dont reall care if I have to downgrade to WM5 just tell me HOW) Thank You guys !!!

Ok did you read the howto flash a ROM on ARTEMIS?
If yes you probably saw a line that told you to flash twice your P3300.
It often resolve flashing problems. GPS usually use COM4
You can test with free GPS software or with Navio software.

COM Ports
I may be wrong but I seem to have a vague recollection that in the US, the original ROMs use COM9 for GPS (can anyone confirm?). Flashing to a new rom will have changed this to COM4 so you may just need to reconfigure your GPS settings in the individual applications.

Official HTC WWE WM6 SHOULD work with any P3300, that couln't be yours that is not possible to run GPS part.

There is an ARTEMIS or HTC P3300 model that have no GPS inside ? or I've just misinterpret what you said maybe you can give me a link with a refresh WM5 software the will surely work with mine ?

No, All HTC P3300 have got a GPS inside (it remember M$ pub ) only some P3300 haven't got Wifi inside.
You should forget about WM5. I said that I am pretty sure WM6 should work with your GPS.
I can give you a WM5 but it is French orange switzerland version
Was your Wm6 an original HTC WWE version?

NO its a custom something (I dont know) but for sure not an original one please if you can send me link off and World wide English official HTC manufacturing version and i would install it ASAP

Try this...
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Clock & Alarms
On Time tab, make sure your time AND time zone is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Regional Settings
On Region tab, make sure your region is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> External GPS
On Program tab, make note of GPS Program Port
Download & Install VisualGPSce
http://www.visualgps.net/VisualGPSce/VisualGPSceInstall.CAB
Run Visual GPSce
Go to Connect -> Serial port
Set Port to that in "External GPS" setting above and Click OK
If the red dot in the bottom right flashes then your GPS is ok! You may just have to wait for a lock (look for QuickGPS too).

Did you reinstall the official ROM version?

Hey when I try to install the ROM WWE after I press the update button it sends me in a white screen and than he gives me ERROR 260 means cant connect with the device what should I do
p.s. by the way my operation system is Vista so just let you know if there is any kind off significance to the subject

When I try to install it without memory card he gives me new error after 2 percent says ''INVALID MODEL ID" this utility can't be use on your PDA ... bla bla bla ... !!! you have any king of advice hint or any kind off something helpful

Try hard reset
First you can try to hard reset your device (pressing the 2 soft key and reset at the same time) You will get a message, press the green phone button. If this does not resolve your problem... you can read first post in the forum, to learn how to flash a new ROM. Does your gps ever worked ?

Ok, the best thing to do is to CID unlock your device (I thaught you already done that)
Read this Thread carefully it will explain why!http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308242
Then use only this to CID unlock your device : http://rapidshare.com/files/119852558/Artemis_USPL.rar.html
After that reinstall the original HTC WWE ROM.

Your problems are from flashing from vista, there are a lot of threads about this, but basically you have to piss about untill you have found out how to install a bunch of old xp drivers and then no more 260 errors. When you have done that you can tell us all here just how you did it and post the drivers again because they are getting harder and harder to find.

via usb using upgrade tools
in new room all (bluetooth, sim tools etc.) in english
In TT Yoo tryed set gps at com4 with 9600 bps ?

W800 doesn't have fm radio, sms'es works with sim without pin code. Wait I test this in new rom.
Rom upgrade is easy, but always exists risk - memory may be crash during rom upgrade.

I have flashed my device with the ROM from 592mobile.com succesfully but i can´t flush this one.

1. conect Your w800 to pc - via activesync (activesync connection must be active)
2. extract rared rom in catlogue with upgrade programs euus.exe, USBDLUpdate_Console.exe ,upgrade.bat.
3. Rename g500_wm6.1_RB2.bin to temp.dat
4. run upgrade.bat
5. updater runs automatically -(You must answer a cuestions) - don't turn off w800 and disconnect usb cable
5. wait to end of room writing
6. upgrade ended with w800 restart with new rom

Does Windows live messenger work? What about port splitter? Is it usable with TomTom7?

WLM works well both wifi and data, sorry Im from HK and we dont use Tom Tom...

I experienced these before and I thought is MSN problem,
actually is your auto config software problem and I did try.
If u just formatted the rom, use USB or wifi it works...
I use mannual input data and works well.
Please test these again, let data try last thing.

Just installed many program and optimize it .... too bad, if there any other method rather than hard-rest ?
I already retry the auto-config in operator setting and manual enter the AP but it doesn't work

This is what I tested and concluded, thats why from now on I dont use auto config.
At least you will see the phone run faster than before rite?

I think this build of ROM have BUG on AUTO-CONFIG.

Guys, why is everyone talking about port splitter ...? I've NEVER used any 3rd party app to get GPS up and running
TT7, GARMIN, IGO8, GPSTUNER, Sygic McGUIDER - all worked on EVERY stock ROM I've had (DXHC4+), including ALL modded EFN ROM's.. and I've always used COM8, 4800 baud..

me too...never understood what's this about?
all i had to do is to update the COM port to COM8 in GPS setup.

ried to update the phone part only.. flashing kept hanging in 57%.. hmm hope I can flash my phone part again..

I did the same thing (update of the phone part only) successfully.
Phone Firmware version is now DXHH1,
PDA is DXHE1 (EF 3.4U)

May I ask why some ppl just want to upgrade the PDA section only but not whole part?

I flashed with EBOOT + PDA + PHONE and didn't found any problem.
BTW, the HARD RESET LOGO was coming back after flashed to HH1 comparing with HE1.

guys i am new with my i-mate jasjam(herm 100).. and i had a problem with my sms service. i was not able to send sms with any sim card. so i installed some titanium edition wm 6.5 rom(previously i had wm5). and when i sync it with my pc i found that it was a trial version and it expired now giving me a white screen written
"this concludes the beta test of this software release. thank you very much for your time and effort in helping make this a great product for our costumers.
to obtain a newer release or further info, please revisit the web site that you used to obtain your current beta release."
now i am not able to access any thing on my i-mate. even active sync is not able to synchronize with the pc.
i only want install a good windows(rom) in it. so can any body help me with this problem of mines in easy way.like giving me a direct link to official rom and instructions to install it,,,

found the solution but still need help
i got the solution for expired version from another xda thread. hard reset did the job.
but i still need a official rom.wm 6 or latest.if dont than atleast please give me some link for wm5 official rom. i dont want to play with roms just give me a rom with which i can use my i-mate jasjam peacefully and also i can send sms to my friends... please help me thank you!!

Use this. It's a cab file so just install it, then run the program. Use your current network.
What happens sometimes is the proper settings are not set up, so you end up with your situation.

need that apllication for wm6

i tried that software but it is not displayed any where, while installing it gave an caution that it was designed for previous windows.
so i got the name of it (i;e htc your application name). ill search for it on net for wm6.
please if get it from some where so do post the link. thanx a lot.
