I experienced these before and I thought is MSN problem,
actually is your auto config software problem and I did try.
If u just formatted the rom, use USB or wifi it works...
I use mannual input data and works well.
Please test these again, let data try last thing.

Just installed many program and optimize it .... too bad, if there any other method rather than hard-rest ?
I already retry the auto-config in operator setting and manual enter the AP but it doesn't work

Guys, why is everyone talking about port splitter ...? I've NEVER used any 3rd party app to get GPS up and running
TT7, GARMIN, IGO8, GPSTUNER, Sygic McGUIDER - all worked on EVERY stock ROM I've had (DXHC4+), including ALL modded EFN ROM's.. and I've always used COM8, 4800 baud..

me too...never understood what's this about?
all i had to do is to update the COM port to COM8 in GPS setup.
ried to update the phone part only.. flashing kept hanging in 57%.. hmm hope I can flash my phone part again..

I did the same thing (update of the phone part only) successfully.
Phone Firmware version is now DXHH1,
PDA is DXHE1 (EF 3.4U)
May I ask why some ppl just want to upgrade the PDA section only but not whole part?

I flashed with EBOOT + PDA + PHONE and didn't found any problem.
BTW, the HARD RESET LOGO was coming back after flashed to HH1 comparing with HE1.

I assume that this is the standard TMobile ROM that you modified with SDHC drivers? Would you mind telling me what driver files did you modify? I want to take it to the PsiDOC's 3.3 Matrix ROM since the SD support there is not stable as well.

This ROM update three DLL files ,so u can run the cab file "htc_storage_settings_app.cab" successfully.
u can find SD*.dll when cook this rom and put into ur new cooked rom

I did manage to replace the bootsplash on my Uni, and it wasn't very hard. Wee!
However, I have downloaded a few cooking-packages, and I don't understand too much of how to make use of these. Too cryptical!

yes, i took notice of that universal WLAN is based on SDIO driver. This ROM replaced three "SD*.dll" files from wm6.1, so has this matter, wish somebody can resolve that finally.
Ah that explains it then.
Also internet will not work via GPRS. It connects fine but no traffic back and forth to the server. To me that says poched tcpip settings possibly connected to the busted WLAN

I´ve the same problem, i think this one is only made for G3 Devices and not for G4 (I have a G4).
It don´t start, if i make a hard reset after installation, it only starts Serialmode. Have anyone the same problem?

Freezes in between playin' songs.
Thanks a lot for posting this great ROM, works absolutely well with my 8G SDHC. Just a little bit of trouble, when it's playin' songs from WMP library, the sound stops, it starts buffering, and then it resumes after 10-15 seconds. It does that in between, after every 2-3 tracks.
My WMP library has 492 tracks, is that the reason, or someone else facin' the same issue ?

For people that are having problems with DXHC4 Radio, i would recommend they switch back to the XIHA7 radio..
I have had to do this to get back my gps connection with Garmin (Program Port 1, hardware port 9)

i got some experience in this.
the best method for radio upgrading is that, always do radio upgrade before rom upgrade.
i encounter one of this gps issues before. I update rom to ms rom and then update the radio. then i can detect my gps but i can't receive any signals. thus, i re update the radio again and update the rom after radio. it works then.
i am using dxhc radio now, and gps is working fine.
avantis, you may want to try flashing the dxhc radio first and then flashing the rom.

Same here with layout. I saved the registry to a file. Then I flashed the new rom. I ve changed the keyboard layout registry but when I reset the registry key contains the old value...

And today, I updated the PDA part to DXHD1 ..
Set COM8 in the first GPS settings tab and enabled assited GPS
... and Garmin WORKS no problem... will try TomTom now

so I suggest flash the full 3in1 i780DXHC4 rom first, get the combo-hardkey hardreset feature and new phone rom, then flash this DXHD1 PDA only rom,
The Italian Radio works out of program port 1..the DXHD1 radio works out of program port 8? Strange but useful information nevertheless..

I was so simple with the Tytn II to keep the keboard layout. Hopefully someone finds out how to do that with i780 so we can start flashing So tired of the swedish bugridden rom but will find the phone pretty useless without the swedish layout

W800 doesn't have fm radio, sms'es works with sim without pin code. Wait I test this in new rom.
Rom upgrade is easy, but always exists risk - memory may be crash during rom upgrade.

1. conect Your w800 to pc - via activesync (activesync connection must be active)
2. extract rared rom in catlogue with upgrade programs euus.exe, USBDLUpdate_Console.exe ,upgrade.bat.
3. Rename g500_wm6.1_RB2.bin to temp.dat
4. run upgrade.bat
5. updater runs automatically -(You must answer a cuestions) - don't turn off w800 and disconnect usb cable
5. wait to end of room writing
6. upgrade ended with w800 restart with new rom

UnRAR file to SDcard but not SDHC (not work) turn off device.
Push to record + mute buttons both and keep pushed. Push to power button and dismiss.
After you see SDLoder on display put device on table and wait for resume process.
After upgrade wait for windows logo and start yor's device.

I have installed the new version, Bluetooth problem persist.
- I can sent files and make data connections, but I can't receive files.
- GPS working, not testing for a long time to test lost of connection...

Did you try to activate "receive all incoming beam" under connection settings?

Many thanks, that was the problem, I think Incoming Beans referred to IR, as per my other device.

I have a 614c since end of March and 3 more around me (of friends) all running on Cellcom SIM. It seems that the ROM does not have Cellcom as a listed service provider.
Since work with HP on a new ROM and have a beta ROM installed on my unit HP asked a few time is there a STD (Sleep Till Death) problem in an Orange SIM, bacause many customers compain about this besides the BT volume and AGC problem. Can you say some thing. Further more, what Hebew are you using on 6 and 6.1.

Hi I am still kind of a beginner when it comes to updating roms n stuff but I don't plan to use my new PDA at all before I learn couple of things.
so I hope you'd be kind enough to help me out to get me started on this. I downloaded the latest WM 6.1 rom update and the original Rom as well but I will not be touching that before I can create my own back up and be able to restore it. The following questions are pretty much related.
1- I would like to know if there is a software that can run from my PC (not from the PDA) and backup or image the PDA Rom and contents to a file on my PC just like what I do with Ghost and my PC.
so what is the best way to back up a rom and how do I restore one (specifically for this device anyway)
2- are there any tuts I can look at.
3- Finally but most importantly what are the tools that a hardcore developer uses to do this kind of complex back up and restore, how do I create a flash.dio file like the WM 6.1 update and restore.
I am a .NET developer but never done anything for PDA's just yet. I really googled for couple of hours but couldn't find the right tools.

However, hmm I am not sure how that answers any of my questions, I already have the files from these links, I am just not sure how to use them.
Again how do I begin to create a flash.dio for example?
