So I pre ordered the note 10+. It came but was unsealed all other accessories were sealed. I also did notice the iemi sticker usually found on the back of the phone was missing as well. Do I need to be worried? Cloning or fraud?

I would call Just because it wasn't sealed. Mine from Sprint was sealed however I did not have the sticker. I don't remember if there was any indication of a sticker.

I already did and they offered $75 credit. I really dont want to give the phone back and go through the whole process again as I li e in Canada and have a po box in USA. It would be such a headache to go through that again. Doesnt look like any thing wrong other than it was opened and I did notice the sticker missing.

Mine was not completely unsealed but the vacuum plastic was teared coz they needed to get one of those IMEI and SN stickers to put them on a warranty and receipt.
Everything is fine, don't worry about that.
My N975U1 was completely sealed, but there was no IMEI sticker on the back. Apparently they stopped doing that in the N10

Good to hear! Could have been a random check but it wasnt placed back properly. The charger was not put back properly and the phone wasnt 100% closed. Just kinda sucks that I spent this much $$$$ and found it like this. I wish Samsung would just send me a replacement unit and then i would ship this one back. There policy is I send everything back then start the whike order process again. What a hassle.....

Did yours come directly from samsung
My note 8 and now note 10+ both came direct from Samsung. The Note 8 has the sticker, Note 10+ does have a place for it but its empty. The worst part is how they are handing the situation.

I dont think the sticker thing is that big of a deal. My unlocked didnt come with a sticker. It's not like all the same information isnt printed on the side of the box where anyone could take a photo of it.
The Note 8 having that doesnt really mean every phone in the future will have one. Just like your note 8 probably didnt come with a screen protector and now they do

My back cover since day one hasn't clipped on properly, always having a small gap top left corner. I called tmobile about it and was told they dont warranty parts of the phone, just the phone itself. They gave me Samsung number and told me to call them. they said I might be charged and it might not be under warranty. What's up with that??

They probably dont. They resale the phone from Samsung. That would be like saying Walmart carries Furby replacement parts. Did they offer to replace the phone under warranty?

It's a crushed tab on the battery cover itself, so since its not the phone they never offered to replace it.
Sucks. Sometimes they replace the whole divice if they dont have spare parts is all. Like hove some times they repkace the phone for a malfunctioning s-pen

Ive had that problem. Its maybe because improper install. I took mine off and put back on starting from the place where you take it off and slide your fingers down applying pressure and do that all the way. Maybe that will work.

I had a problem with my tmobile white gs3 battery cover turning blue/discolored. Samsung was no help whatsoever. Offered to charge me for a replacement.
Today I called Samsung about an s pen replacement because mine is finicky and I have to bang it against a hard surface for it to work again (have to repeat this process every few hours). They told me to send them the pen and wait a week or two so they can diagnose the pen. Not kidding.
Good luck to you sir.
Also T-mobile was no help either.

Just an update, I haven't had the time to contact Samsung yet, going to try tomorrow and will update.
So I called Samsung and was told since it came from TMo that way, I have to get them to replace it, or buy a new one.
Called TMo back again and they spoke to Samsung, basically Samsung doesnt even have any to sell yet, but in the meantime TMo is crediting my account for the $11 it will cost Samsung to send me one once it comes in stock. They did reiterate that you have 14 days to make sure there are no physical abnormalities with the phone, and once past that the phone itself has a one year warranty, nothing else that came in the box does, and they are giving me this one time courtesy.
My back cover doesn't fit well either. Hope to find a cheap replacement with NFC online, maybe even aluminum.

Hey guys, lost my gs3 at a bar last night. Or someone stole it, Idk. Luckily using my dad's gs3 since he's away. I do have insurance with asurion and I understand I'll pay a 150 $ fee for a new phone, but can I go to a tmo store and do that there, or do I have to do everything online and wait for my phone to be shipped?
Also, will I get a refurb back, or a new gs3 since I paid the big fee?
Will thank for any help!
Thanks in advance.

You have to do it online from asurian website. There is nothing with tmobile.
And be sure to say you lost it, not som1 took it.
You need proof of purchase. Box cutting or receipt. Fee is 130 bucks.
99 in 100 times you will receive refurb phone but there is chance of getting new phone too. Last week my friend got brand new on box as replacement.
Gud luck.
I went to tmobile and all they did was get me on a call with asurion. I'm guessing they shipped me a brand new one since it came with the original box plus the charger and headphones.

You have to show proof of purchase even though T-Mobile has all that information? I bought mine through telesales, I don't have the receipt as they never gave me one and I need my UPC for my rebate.

Next Day Air shipping is also included in that $130 fee. So if you order the new phone through Asurion's website today, you have good chances of receiving the new phone by Friday.
Towle has it perfectly down to the tee, although my experience was a little different because I did not need to obtain any kind of proof of purchase for this process. If you're anything like me you don't like to leave things dependent on an e-mail and would rather talk to a human being about the issue and get it resolved quickly. You can call Ausurion (number is on their website) and speak to a representative, they will just confirm your identity, charge your card for the $130 and ship it out next day. The replacement I received was a refurb but came with the newer UVDLJC modem even though my old phone had the UVDLJA modem.

one thing I like to point out is every time I ordered replacement for insurance claim, they sent me refurbished phone which is fine.. but most refurbished phone they sent don't come with accessories like battery or the back cover.. I am not sure there is an option on Asurion website that you can request as full phone not just half (you know what I mean..). I ran into that when I was replacing my GS2.. just FYI..

I actually asked a rep via online chat about this and she said NO, what is listed on the site as "in the box" is all that is included. I was wondering the same thing because AT&T costs a little more than some of the other carriers. She cited reason as AT&T phones are slightly different and can work outside the U.S or something??? Don't know if I believe that, but thats what she said.

I received my return box before I received my Note 8. I preordered the phone in August, the day that VZW announced the $480 deal. I ended up having to work with a CSR to get the order completed, with the result of having the return box shipped almost immediately and the phone less than a week later. The Note 8 itself arrived the Tuesday immediately after Labor Day.
Yes. They received my S7 Edge back and sent me an exmail saying my trade in value was 20 x 24 payments. You must pay monthly for 2 years if you want the full 480.
In an effort to keep from getting scammed, I went into my local Verizon store and traded it there. It was actually suggested I do that by the rep that helped me when I pre-ordered the Note 8. I always get an Otterbox or other appropriate case when I get a new phone so I don't run into issues with the phone getting damaged because I have butter fingers. Heard too many horror stories of getting cheated out of the full trade in value when shipping it in.

I don't think so. I sent my husband Mike's Note 5 back to Verizon in exchange for the Note 8 so I could send it to him since he's in the Military and overseas and Verizon told him 300 and his phone was in pristine condition since he put it in a waterproof dust proof case and it didn't even have fingerprints on it and they only gave 128 dollars! So I'm mad and arguing with them about it!

My note 5 has a tiny crack in the top left corner of the back glass panel. Still get $480. I was confirm about a week after I shipped it back.
Verizon cares about 2 things for a full value trade.
1.) Does the phone power on?
2.) Is the screen cracked?
VZ does not even care if the bootloader is unlocked or the phone being rooted.
If someone got full trade for a device with a cracked screen, it must be really hard to see and you got lucky.
I got $240 for my Note 4. Turned on, no damage. Ran slow as hell but they didn't care. Did the pre-order and return at a Verizon store, easier than waiting for the box and I wanted to make sure that I got the credit they quoted. Took a full bill cycle to hit. Paying $1 a month less for my Note 8 than my wife pays on her S8 lol.

My mother traded her iPhone 7 in for the Note 8 in store. She got an email the same day saying the 20 dollars for 24 months was added to my account. It took about 3 weeks to get the same email from my S7 that I mailed back. If you're worried about using the mail in, a Corporate store checks it and you get the credit email right away. If you do this, ensure you are going to a VZW Corporate store. If you go to an authorized re-seller, you may have to wait even longer.
Did the mail in and got a message today that they did the full quote of 360 for a original moto z.
Just the opposite. I turned in my pristine Note 5 and they gave me $400 off at the Verizon store for a Note 8. Great Deal! Now I've got a 256GB MicroSD Card in it so I've got a Lambo for the price of a Volkswagen,!

So I got my RMA, but it came in as a refurbished unit. Now I wouldn't normally care, but the speakers were noticeably damaged out of the box and I can't imagine they thoroughly checked it before shipping out the refurbished unit. The next one had burn in out of the box somehow. Does anyone else have any experiences with getting refurbished units from RMAs? And is there a possibility of new units being in stock for replacement? These experiences are making me weary of the refurbished unit.
I got my first RMA and it was a new unit. Haven't really seen others getting a refurbished. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Maybe that is just Canada? I specifically said I wanted to make sure i got new box with correct esn on it and google assured me all their RMA phones were new and came with everything in box just as a new device. Dont know why other countries would be different though

From what I heard it was always a matter of whether or not they had any new devices in stock for exchange. They copy and pasted something along the lines of we do not know the availability of the warehouse as it depends on the stock or something along those lines each time I asked in my 7 RMAs

I've tried, they have some sort of copy and paste script for that kind of question that goes along the lines of them not knowing how many are in stock at the warehouse and it depends on the stock
