Every time I try to play music with my Bluetooth speaker, the audio keeps breaking. And this stops immediately when i turn the Internet off. Is there a fix for this?

If you mean it happens only with Wi-Fi turned on and no problem on LTE, yes. Happening to me and some other people. Right out of the box, no rooting or anything.
Have no clue, except it feels more like a Wi-Fi problem rather than Bluetooth. Hoping it gets fixed with an update. So far no luck. I might try factory reset and see what happens.

I wouldn't bother with the factory reset, same thing happens to me and I did the factory reset and still same issue. So it must be a hardware/software issue.
Weird thing is, if I have WiFi on but not actually connected to anything I don't have any issues.

Just use 5Ghz WiFi... some routers interfere with bluetooth
It happens with both wifi and LTE. It's strange how they still haven't fixed this issue after 2 months of release and major Oreo update.
I had the Problem on nougat firmware, that my bt audio glitched when i lost wifi connection or when it connected automatically. however i dont experience this issue on the oreo firmware.

Hey guys!
I am fairly satisfied with my Moto 360 and I enjoy using it. But after 5-6 days (around a week maybe) it shows that it's not connected to my One M8. When I try to scan for it with bluetooth, the phone can't discover it. I also tried using brother's OnePlus One, but the result is the same.
The only thing that fixes this is factory reset the watch. Then I have to do everything all over again and it's getting really annoying. Did someone have similar experience and is there some solution to this?
Thanks in advance!

Got a similar problem where after several hours the watch doesnt reconnect to the phone because my moto x thinks that its still connected.
the only solution i found so far is to disconnect through the wear app on my phone, disable bluetooth and re-enable bluetooth.
you could give it a try.
eric
edit: newest android wear update seems to solve this issue
I surely hope so! I tried your method before already, but the only trick for getting it to work is factory reseting the watch. We'll see if the update squashed this bug
well that sucks mate. good luck!
I too am having this issue... my watch shows Disconnected and nothing I do fixes this except for resetting my wtach and reconnecting from scratch.
I also just updated to Lollipop on my nexus 5 through a clean factory install, and had the same issue.
I'm having the same problem once a week.
What solves my problem ist:
Turn off BT on phone
Reboot watch
Reboot Phone
Turn BT on phone back on
Connect through Wear App

This also helps, but only sometimes I hope Google will fix this in the near future. It is a single thing that drives me crazy about this watch.
I'm having a problem with my Zenfone 2 ZE551ML.
During a call, suddently the audio gets heavily distorted and I can barely understand what the other speaker is saying, the voice is metallic and disturbed. I'm using the phone with Italian operator TIM. It happens totally at random, I also tried to return my phone and get another one, but even with the new one it still happens. It does that with the wired headphone, with the phone's speaker, with my car's bluetooth... I have no idea why. I'm running the latest firmware.
Does this occur to anydoby else?
Doesn't happen with mine on T-Mobile, maybe you should try a factory reset before exchanging the phone.
"I'd Totally Hug You, If That Was Something I Did"
Well, I did try a factory reset and i ALSO exchanged the phone for a new one, and I still have the same problem. It's either a firmware issue or an operator issue, but I'm betting it's got nothing to do with the operator since it's the same SIM that was in my old Nexus 5, with which I never had any problem.
Can you exchange it for a 3rd one then? Or maybe try a SIM from a different carrier as a test.
"I'd Totally Hug You, If That Was Something I Did"
I have same problem with Italian operator wind. I wrote to Asus and they urgently asked me to send them my phone. I think and hope it's a factory problem they can fix.

There are several helpful tips regarding basic troubleshooting techniques under Apps/ASUS Support/Assistance. One method for this issue is to check to see if 'AudioWizard' app is turned on, and try disabling by powering it off.

Yes, it makes no difference if audio wizard is on or off.
Actually, since I'm rooted, I tried to disable Audio Wizard completely. Will post results.
I'm on my third ZenFone 2 and they all do the same thing with me as well... the audio will randomly distort during a call. I can replicate the issue through speaker, handset speaker, and bluetooth. Mine isn't quite as severe as yours, it will get choppy for a second then straighten out, every 30-60 seconds or so. I've replicated this issue on both stock ROMs and rooted ROMs with the Asus apps frozen.
Still no difference even after disabling sound wizard. I'm starting to think that this is a structure flaw of this particular model.
The latest firmware seems to have solved this issue. The problem has not re-occurred yet.
Glad to hear I wasn't the only one having this issue. I had a Nexus 4/without issues on Bluetooth in my car using grom audio BT adapter.
I am with Wind in Canada and have had the issue since I bought the phone. I was hoping firmware would fix it, but it still occurred yesterday using firmware 2.19.40.22.
I have checked the sound wizard, but not a factory reset. Guess I could try that today.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks
exx
So it's November and the issue is still a thing on my ZE551ML. It happens with approximately every third phone call - the sound gets suddenly distorted, I can barely understand the other person and he has trouble hearing me as well. Phone unrooted, stock ROM, latest OTA update (WW 2.20.40.97). I have just tried to turn off Audio Wizard for now, let's see if this helps.

I solved sending the phone to Asus assistance, they have changed the motherboard and fixed the problem. They have taken about 15 days. No money required because it's a warranty repairing.

Thank you for your answer. I have found out, that this issue happens ONLY when mobile data are on. If the problem occurs and I turn the data off, sound quality is normal again. It's probably somehow connected with the data network available in the moment (EDGE, 3G, LTE), because data on doesn't always mean the sound gets distorted. If I understand it right, 4G works on the similar frequences as GSM - so it could be some conflict between voice services and internet services (bad priority settings or something?). It seems to me, that after latest firmware update, the issues is not THAT bad, bud still annoying.
Does anyone know what might fix this? Or is there at least any tool that would disable mobile data during a call and turn it on again when the call is over? I would prefer not sending it for repair, cause you know, time is precious.

Yes: I get exactly the same symptoms; my current 'phone is the replacement model for exactly the same problem as the first zenfone 2
tried everything including selecting 2/3G new sim card but it occurs on both #1 or # 2 sim cards and it is intermittent
Methinks it MUST be a hardware problem. All ideas and suggestions welcome as I do like this phone....if only it would work as a phone!
Hi there.
I have a Z5P single sim version.
After I updated to Marshmallow 6.0,
Bluetooth isn't stable when I connected to my car. My car is 2012 vw Jetta tdi stock radio system(not navigation).
Often music turned down then back to same volume as before turned down like when i get notification, text, email, etc.
Before I updated to Marshmallow, I had same issue a few times, but it wasn't big deal.
Now it's just so annoying. And I wanna fix it.
Does anyone have same issue as me?
If there is way to fix it, please let me know!
That was always the case... I am having lost or intermittent music if there are too many apps are opened... Some time closing open apps do not help, I have to close the music app and restart again...

Sorry for late response. I did same thing, close all app, or I just restart the phone. I use Spotify and all music is download in sd card. I also use Google music, and same thing happened. So I did forgot Bluetooth connection and recent connect again, but it's still happen. I don't really want to factory reset and use computer to fix program. It's too much to do. I just don't know what else I can do :/
Right now my Z5 is under repair and I have to do a factory reset so I will let you know if factory reset works...

I have ClearAudio+ is on in the settings. That's all. I noticed that I have same issue even on my Bluetooth headphone now. What is Viper?
I had some really bad issues with my SBH70 headset dropping out after the MM update.
I cleared all bluetooth settings from phone and headset, cleared data fro SmartConnect and SBH70 app, uninstalled all updates for both, then updated everything and reconnected to bluetooth. Seems to have helped so far.

Update:
So at first, I did reset Bluetooth WiFi and signal settings, also smart connect and app setting. It did better for a couple time, then back to terrible again.
A couple of days later, I couldn't take it anymore, so I factory reset and repair on computer. It seems much better. Maybe a few times I still have same issue.
Great news is battery life is improved a lot. Now I don't need to charge till I go sleep. Also less buggy and faster.
My conclusion about this issue is, it is not about Bluetooth. It is something about OS or some software issue. When the phone is buggy and slow, this happens even all other app is closed.
Now I will wait for update to see if it will fix this issue.

Lately, I am facing this terrible Bluetooth problem on my s6e+. All my devices are dropping connections even if the phone is in my pocket.
My Bluetooth earphones would disconnect if I keep my phone in either pockets but would work fine 10 feet away from laptop.
My Moto360 keeps dropping connection, vibrating constantly which makes me think I received notification and makes me go crazy!
I thought I had problems with Android wear so I reset my watch, removed android wear app and reinstalled, paired again.
Still problem was there so I tried headphones to confirm the problem is with phone. I tried unpairing all devices, clearing cache.
I am on stock 5.1.1 unrooted. TIA
UPDATE: I called Samsung and apparently they think its hardware problem and so I sent my phone to them. Will update when I receive the phone back.
Final Update: Samsung replaced main board and Bluetooth problem is solved now!
I too have that problem and I don't know how to fix it.
I cannot see all the Bluetooth devices even if they are right next to the phone.

I have the same issue sometimes, I've read around the web and it seems to be a mix of software and hardware related, I read a guy suggest removing and putting back the case (in case you have one) and I did that and the sound came back, haven't had the issue again.

Hmm, I keep mine out of a case,.. Yeah I'm not sure what it is, it's a 50/50 between some say software and some say hardware. I would asume that software would of been fixed by now, either Samsung or 3rd party
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
So I found a solution for the issue in my case, it does seem to be software but it's really weird cause the issue continues in any firmware, it started when I was on 6.0.1 PI2, then I flashed Nougat and had the same problem (I hated it and battery drain was killing me) I went back to 6.0 and changed to the PK2 version and the issue continued, it was really weird cause it would cut out in audio messages, games but not music, I also tried every single suggestion on every forum and post I could find EXCEPT the Soundabout app, today I gave up, installed soundabout, selected media to speakers and bam, problem solved, I still need further testing, but it seems ok for now, keep in mind that I also have "prevent USB audio routing" on and "Easy Mute" off.

Im trying the soundabout app now, I orginally had it set to automatic and was still having the issue, now I set it to speaker and so far so good.
as this worked for me but idk about others... I was told to remove all paired bluetooth devices (on/off doesnt matter) then go to settings>connections>more connection settings>nearby device scanning then turn off... worked for me... (sorry for zombifying an old post but as this is still current with mine and many devices i decided to help)
