Hey guys!
I am fairly satisfied with my Moto 360 and I enjoy using it. But after 5-6 days (around a week maybe) it shows that it's not connected to my One M8. When I try to scan for it with bluetooth, the phone can't discover it. I also tried using brother's OnePlus One, but the result is the same.
The only thing that fixes this is factory reset the watch. Then I have to do everything all over again and it's getting really annoying. Did someone have similar experience and is there some solution to this?
Thanks in advance!

Got a similar problem where after several hours the watch doesnt reconnect to the phone because my moto x thinks that its still connected.
the only solution i found so far is to disconnect through the wear app on my phone, disable bluetooth and re-enable bluetooth.
you could give it a try.

edit: newest android wear update seems to solve this issue
I surely hope so! I tried your method before already, but the only trick for getting it to work is factory reseting the watch. We'll see if the update squashed this bug
well that sucks mate. good luck!
I too am having this issue... my watch shows Disconnected and nothing I do fixes this except for resetting my wtach and reconnecting from scratch.
I also just updated to Lollipop on my nexus 5 through a clean factory install, and had the same issue.
I'm having the same problem once a week.
What solves my problem ist:
Turn off BT on phone
Reboot watch
Reboot Phone
Turn BT on phone back on
Connect through Wear App

This also helps, but only sometimes I hope Google will fix this in the near future. It is a single thing that drives me crazy about this watch.

Hi all,
I have a 2011 335xi w/ iDrive that I paired my Sprint/HTC Evo 4G to (running Android 2.2 w/ latest patches). My phone connects fine and transfers contacts and all but randomly during calls will disconnect and the sound goes back to the phone. In order to get it back working, I have to turn off and on my bluetooth a couple times (on the phone) then go back into the telephone screen, try connecting a couple times and eventually it works. It's so frustrating as this can happen like 3 or 4 times during a one hour drive and seems like more of a distraction to me as the driver than a way to avoid distractions (not so hands free when I am switching on/off bt). Any ideas? Thanks.

Lol, I only mentioned the car model and year because people familiar with BMW would want to know that since the iDrive gets updated all the time. I have a September 2010 build too if anyone wants to know (so fall update is included...guessing the issue isn't on the car's end).
Haha... I know dood. Like I said... just wanted to do that.

Got the same issue here with 2011 328. I've read on some other forums people are having these BT issues with other vehicles and various ROMs. I have not been able to find a solution yet.

I def know I never had wifi on, which seems to be the most common response on that thread. I haven't tried to hard reset yet, no time to reload all my apps and such (although contacts just sync). If you do figure it out, let me know. Things went well after the recent update to the stock rom, but now they are worse than ever...its not even really connecting, and I've tried completely removing and re-pairing the phone, changing the phone name, turning bluetooth audio off and just keeping phone connection, etc, idk what else to do, very frustrating phone.
Did you try to use the phone without ANY of your apps, bone stock? My friend had a similiar problem in an 11' S4 and we finally figured that the problem was with one of his apps, he tried goin stock and it would be fine, but when he restored all his apps using TB it would do the same. The last thing i could think about is that the BT is somehow going in to sleep mode, try having the power plugged in in the car if you haven't done so already.

Hey, I haven't had much time to hard reset my phone and reload things, but that may be my last resort. Do you know by any chance which App was causing the problems for your friend? I tried using the phone plugged in but no luck either.
Hi guys
I've been getting fairly decent battery life, however am now connecting my phone to the car daily via bluetooth.
I've noticed some battery drain and after checking the built in battery stats and also better battery stats app, my Bluetooth is not turning off when I'm selecting it.
IE, connected on the drive to work, get to work, disconnected then turned off, but showing as constantly on.
Any ideas what could cause this?

I have noticed the same thing when viewing battery stats although I never use bluetooth and it's always off.

Any updates or anyone else having the same problem?
I also noticed it just a minute ago. gsam monitor tells that bt was on for 6hrs+ which is the exact same time with phone radio.
Earlier this week connected to my boss' car radio for bt aux, this is the first and last time I used bt. Switched it on&off from settings, nothing changed.
SH26CW, running 4.0.4
Might be useful to give the serial no's since it is useful information about the production site and date.

Same issue here, and same Android version. GSam always reports the same Bluetooth on time as the time unplugged, ie. it's saying that BT has been on all the time, while it's clearly off. I've tried different ways to switch off BT (using widget, using settings, going into Airplane mode and back) but to no avail.
Part of me is suspecting that GSam might be reading the wrong value and falsely reporting it as Bluetooth. But perhaps someone with a different battery monitoring app could check on this and confirm?
It is a bug, to solve it you will need to restart your phone.
This is the only way I find to solve this on stock 2.17/Android 4.0.4.
This bug is caused by turning your Bluetooth on and off.
I faced the same problem? But does that use battery? Actually.the Bluetooth is off.

Hmm, user fault then hheheheueh
the strange thing is, it does not consume battery at all. ok it's not connected to any device but I would think it would consume more than just %1.
may be non-discoverable makes it use less. not broadcasting anything.

A restart sometimes fix the problem but not always. Today I had bluetooth turned off then after restarting by four hours my device reports that bluetooth has been on for 4 hours even though I didn't turn it on and it shows that it's off.

I do find a reboot fixes it, but I don't want to have to reboot my phone every time I get out the car.

I'm now having a chat with HTC live support about JB update and also asked the question about BT off issue.
He said, please follow the following steps.. Waiting for what he'll say..
So he suggested booting in safe mode, going to applications? >> manage, uncheck.. ? I'm not familiar with safe mode so I cannot surely say what he is talking about.
Has anyone tried this? Did it work?
So he sad that this will solve if an application is triggering the problem, but I haven't used any applications that use BT.
So, the next suggestion is factory reset, bullsh*t. sorry guys =)
useless post may be, but confirms that HTC official support has no fixing for this.

Hahaha, that's funny and more towards Apple ideology.
Bluetooth was designed to be efficient. But, if its running then it consuming energy ,and that's something I don't like.
I already checked logcat/kmsg ,but nothing about this Bluetooth issue.
I didn't see anyone on JB came to complain about this, let's see what the offical JB has to offer.

Try to disable "fastboot", and give it a try.
I am afraid nothings more can be done on stock, other option is to wait for JB and hope it already fixed.

Safe mode is a mode in Android, that will will disable all the 3rd party installed apps. Similar to safe mode in Windows. After your turned on your phone, just press on the volume key and it will get you there.
Beside that, I never trust customer support, and I never had a good experience with any of them.
The only good thing is about companies offering customer support, is they add job opportunities into the economy.
This problem just crept up on me. I noticed the battery was lower than normal, I checked BBS and it seems like BT never turned off. A reset would solve the problem until I turn BT back on again.
Does anyone know if this has been fixed with 4.1?

Have had the Huawei Watch for a few days and it seems to have a deal-breaking bug. Frequently, after the watch has been in ambient mode for a while, it won't come out of it. If I touch the screen, the ambient display gets brighter, but that's all. No response from swiping or button presses. Sometimes, after a very long pause (a minute or so) it'll come back to life, but usually I have to hold the button until it restarts. Anyone run into this before? Ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Using it with a Nexus 6. Android wear version 1.3.0.2176821.
Thanks!!!

Forgot to mention that the time sticks at whatever time it freezes and so it doesn't even tell the correct time. Sigh.
Have tried a factory reset. Didn't fix it.
Sounds like it's maybe in need of replacing. Like any new product release, there's bound to be a certain percentage of failures. Depending on how you look at it, you're either really lucky, or really unlucky
Well, just in case anyone else encounters this issue, I called Huawei tech support and described my issue. After a few minutes, they came back and said it was a known issue that effects some but not all watches. They said it would be corrected in a future software update but he was unable to tell me when that would be. So I could either wait for that update or send it back for an exchange. Since it happens frequently and renders the watch temporarily unusable, I opted to exchange it. They send an RMA label next day. The joys of new tech. Hope this helps someone else.

I have absolutely same issue. In ambient mode it freezes from the first day I bought this watch. Thank you for investigation and info.
got my hwatch and experienced the ambient mode freeze. to unfreeze, i enter and exit theater mode. it works. but now i'm never sure if the ambient time i'm glancing at is accurate or not...
Similar problem with an HTC M8. I'll try the theater mode to see if that helps. I still can't trust the time any more.
+1 on the Huawei Watch freeze. Sometimes after 15 minutes, sometimes after several hours. It has frozen with ambient mode disabled and with wrist gestures disabled as well.

None of them had red-tint issue. It seems this is not related with the freezing ambient mode.

Lately, I am facing this terrible Bluetooth problem on my s6e+. All my devices are dropping connections even if the phone is in my pocket.
My Bluetooth earphones would disconnect if I keep my phone in either pockets but would work fine 10 feet away from laptop.
My Moto360 keeps dropping connection, vibrating constantly which makes me think I received notification and makes me go crazy!
I thought I had problems with Android wear so I reset my watch, removed android wear app and reinstalled, paired again.
Still problem was there so I tried headphones to confirm the problem is with phone. I tried unpairing all devices, clearing cache.
I am on stock 5.1.1 unrooted. TIA
UPDATE: I called Samsung and apparently they think its hardware problem and so I sent my phone to them. Will update when I receive the phone back.
Final Update: Samsung replaced main board and Bluetooth problem is solved now!
I too have that problem and I don't know how to fix it.
I cannot see all the Bluetooth devices even if they are right next to the phone.

I waited 3 weeks for the MM update and got tired and sent it to Samsung for hardware repair. Just as I sent them, here is the MM update.
Hi All,
So I've just bought this TV and I've done all the updates I can, and even checked the website for any manual updates. I've done at least 3 full resets too.
As the title says, I'm getting random crashes or reboots - even when it's just sat on a menu screen doing nothing. Streaming anything such as Netflix seems to exacerbate the issue. I'm very lucky if I can even watch a single 40 min TV episode without it rebooting.
Any ideas? Has anybody else had this? Philips are being useless at the moment and simply referred me back to some instructions for 2014 Android TV's despite this one being a 2019 model, and then closed the support ticket before I could even reply.
Cheers,
James
Do you have any firmware updates?
Have you done any firmware updates on your TV?
Also did u check any auto-shut down feature?
Hello,
Thanks for the reply. As I stated I've done all updates already and also checked the website for any manual updates.
The TV isn't shutting down, it's rebooting randomly during viewing, and crashing when doing nothing requiring me to pull the plug to get it working again.
Any other suggestions?

I've tried leaving it disconnected but unfortunately the issue still occurs. I will look at reinstalling the firmware.

Hi all again,
I just wanted to provide a small update. So I think I've worked out that it's the remote causing the crashing. Which in turn suggests a Bluetooth issue. It isn't consistent, so I'm now monitoring but it seems when the remote gets moved and goes to reconnect it then crashes and reboots. I'll post another update if my findings seem true.
on my Phillips the Isuue came from firetvstick4k.
If i changed Always HDR i have massive problems with lag in UI of my Phillips 65PSU7310.
If i changed it in Firetv to Adaptive...all Lag was gone from my Phillips TV
https://www.4kfilme.de/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Amazon-Fire-TV-Adaptives-HDR.jpg
Also AptoideTV app has given me much Bootloops.
After deinstalled AptoideTV and Gave Firetvstick only Adaptive HDR.All Problems has gone.no bootloop and no Lags anymore.
Perhaps it helps you !
greatz

Hey drgonzo69,
Unfortunately I never got the issue resolved. Philips support just asked me to reinstall the firmware, which I did and I still had the problem. In the end the supplier accepted it back and I bought an LG TV instead (should have gone with my gut and done this in the first place instead of trying to save some money).
