Pretty obvious that the uber microites run the show, people making totally valid points about an OS with a lack of facilities, that the OS it is replacing had in abundance are castigated and threads closed. There is no such thing as free speech without consequences. It gets tiring to hear people say I have freedom of speech. You do, but you can be censored, or penalized for some of the things that you say. This is so in every free, democratic country. Look at Slander and also Hate Speech.
Now to get to the Hate Speech aspect - you want your members to express themselves without negatively impacting on the other members. We all have different personalities and idea and to properly manage a forum to ensure that everyone gets to express themselves without negatively impacting on other members is not easy since we can be hedonistic.
Anyone that has read your posts in the Windows Phone 7 forum gets your point. You think the OS is garbage and not fit to be sold. You could easily just move on, but you do not. I am not your psychologist so I will not bother trying to explain why.

I'm sorry to say, but if free speech has such consequences like censorship then it is no longer free speech. That being said, a forum is one of the last places on earth where you would be able to use free speech. Forums have been censored due to political or personal opinions for years. Also democratic countries do not support free speech. They do accept a wider range of topics in the "media" then other governments would allow, but they definitely do not condone free speech.

I'm pretty sure that the government only even looks at texts/calls/etc. to help with police investigations and similar things. If they did something big that would affect us, everyone would go ape**** crazy which would be like suicide for the US government.
I'd be fine with an invisible guy looking through my window and furiously masturbating - As long as it doesn't affect me and I won't notice, I don't care.
This can be solved quite easily.
If everyone would forward every email/text they send to a government computer in order to "save them the trouble" of having to data mine their own citizens...

Our internet traffic has been "overseen" much longer than you think.
Things that could have been prevented were intentionally ignored since the govt would rather refuse to confirm that they have been spying than to have to explain how they knew about such things beforehand.

The TSA has so many flaws and security holes. There are so many things that you can bring on a plane and use for harmful intent without the TSA knowing. I have a knife keychain (press a button and a sharp knife pops out) and it's never been questioned or confiscated while going through a TSA check. I've gone on at least 6 flights this summer too.
Say some terrorists want to get on a plane. You have 6 terrorists, they all have ipads. They all get first class front seatings. You can have 2 people use their ipads to knock out the pilots - This would be possible and not that hard if they were trained. Then you hijack the plane and have the 4 people guard you (using their ipads as weapons) while the other 2 crash the plane. This sounds like a really crazy scenario, but it could work. Instead of iPads, they could think of a way to get knives on the plane. (Once again, TSA has so many security flaws that this won't be a problem).
The government definitely keeps us safe in a bunch of ways but the TSA is not one of them. The TSA is really just useless and has a negative impact on the innocent people taking the flight.

I still hope this is a joke. First off, the chinese version was based off leaks of the actual iPhone 5. Secondly, making fun of a country isn't really racism unless your making their race specifically. Being from the US, if i made fun of canada, would you also call that racism? Is anyone ANTI-self defense? I mean, you can be pro-self defense (martial arts) and be anti-firearm.
Personally, I have a shotgun, a .22 and a .45. I'm seriously considering getting a license to conceal and carry but I don't currently. I also have had years of living with a Dad who was a gun nut and he filled my head with more opinions on the various aspects of gun control, concealing and even gun ownership than you could imagine. What stuck with me though is that you should NEVER own a gun unless you are SURE you can use it. You must be of the mindset that you can take a life, because if you don't - if you hesitate - your gun could be used against you. I don't know if many people actually mull over the fact that bad guy or not, everyone is someone's son or daughter. And once the aggression drains from that face you laid down, you are looking at a human being. Who is scary dying or dead? Can you live the rest of your life with that on you?
If I lived alone, I wouldn't own a gun. But I have a family and their well being is my responsibility. Would I kill if I had to? Only for them. Nothing I own is worth a life otherwise.
Just my two cents. You're welcome to disagree. I spent years arguing with Dad, "I could do it. No problem." And then I had kids and my perspective changed. I am changed.

Well said. I also have a family, and would do absolutely anything necessary for them. I conceal carry anywhere its legal, any time I am able to, as well as my wife. Of course, I would only use a firearm when absolutely necessary, and would not hesitate when it can to my family. Like you said, you have to have already decided if the time came to take a life, you need to know if you will or not, and not hesitate.
I'm also a life member of the NRA, and platinum member of the USCCA - they provide funds in the event of a criminal or civil lawsuit, as you as you did everything correctly.
I don't comprehend the government's views on the 2nd amendment, and states like Illinois where it is extremely difficult to legally defend yourself with a firearm. There are clear statistics showing that pro-gun states/cities have a lower crime rate over a period of time. I'm at work at the moment, so I don't have a link to provide as a reference currently.

In some states its illegal to claim self-defense if you were already carrying a weapon with "intent" to defend yourself.
I begin self defense up to and including killing someone in self defense. But of course situation dictates, I'm not going to shoot someone for stealing my $30 grill from my front porch. But if someone were to break into my house and I were in the house, who ever comes through my door better be ready to die.

Agreed. One should never even reach for a firearm unless its something serious to begin with, which includes breaking into my home with my wife and kids. In Kentucky (and probably most states) you can only legally self defend with a deadly weapon for serious injury/bodily harm/death, rape/sexual act, kidnapping. As far as property, the law isn't perfectly clear, but if the perp is in your home, it's all bad for them.

Some people think this is just a $900 phone. And that it is only good but not great. These people are very incorrect in their findings. I can't believe they're scoring the phone I have so low. She said my pixel was like garbage. Hearing this while watching this video they were going out of their way to elaborate their feelings and knowledge of how cameras work to basically say literally say the camera was taking garbage pictures and that it was the whole experience garbage. It's not just a phone. People don't pay out $900 for something that is just a phone, it is an experience, asshole. It's a near perfect machine. Growing poor we never had anything like this. This is more than a phone this is the epitome of Googles hard work. It is probably my most favorite phone I've ever had. And it deserves to be said that.
