No, it's not. However, my phone shipped yesterday and the invoice says it has Uh Oh and there was also a separate description of what all comes with Uh Oh. I'm like, 'Huh?'

Quite obvious that they have been shipping US stocks to Canada

Galaxy Nexus Gsm warranty.

I got it from Amazon today in one day shipping. Just installed my apps and love the phone already. My gs2 needs to go now.
I have two question though.
1. Do they have only one version everywhere? I know the cdma version is a different one, but are all the gsm ones alike?
2. In case I need to get warranty on this, will Samsung be providing it in USA?

Yes and no. All GSM models are the same pentaband phones.. and as for warranty your guess is as goof as mine

I ordered through negri and they handle all warranty claims. Not sure how Amazon does it.

OK, I'll probably never need it but it's always nice to know that the phone is covered. Lucky you! May be I'll talk with Amazon regarding this. Thanks a lot for nice replies.

You may have extra luck because Amazon is good with customer service. But they probably sourced it from one of the UK importers, so that hurts your chances also. Most people are saying that the imported versions have no explicit warranty in the states.

yes, actually the order fulfillment its through Amazon but it its from third party seller. But the seller has pretty good reviews. I'm gonna send him a message to know more about it. Can I buy Att warranty on it anyhow?

There are a couple threads about warranties. I think people said you can get Asurion (or any other 3rd party, probably) insurance... not sure though.

Repairing question..

Hey guys & girls, I'm gonna make it quick:
I need to send my Gnex in.. It has some screen problems, which aren't major.. But annoying in time...
My question is, since the Gnex is taken down from the store, how long will Google/Samsung repair it?
I'm curios, because when I'll wait, I'm scared if my carrier (where I send it from) will say they don't repair the phone cause it's too old... Or is there no "too old device" .. Maybe some people with older devices have some experience..
Thank you in advance.

Standard 1 year from purchase warranty.

Still 1 year. Unless your carrier offered insurance and you took them up on it.
Okay thank you so I got some time ^^

Well in many European countries (germany included apparently) you are ensured a 2 year warranty by law, which they would have to obey if they sold the product in that country, insurance or not.
So if it's within this time, the carrier, who is the seller in this case would be obligated to either repair it, give you a new product and if the product is out of production, they would have to give you something similar or better.(the time in which the product is produced and sold can not limit this)

Just contact the carrier, they will know how to handle it.
Yeah, but I thought I'll get in troubles when I say "I have a defective device, but I only send it in when it's broken" ..
I know I don't have to say it that way, but even the question how they handle it would make them suspicious..

Just say you're having some minor issues and want to know how long you van put off the repair since you'd be without a phone during it.

Service in the UK

Hi,
I had to send my p6 back to the service centre because the wlan drops the front camera does not work and a gps does not get fix just after restart.
I phoned them and I had to pay £7 to send the phone even I have manufactuer warranty on it.
This is so ....
Cannot find words...
My friend sent his lg and that was free.
I chose wrong company...

I wish the best of luck to you in getting your phone fixed.
And yes, its not fair that you have to pay for your phone since you have warranty.
Thank you indeed.
I do not have to say I am disappointed...

Did you root your device? This may void yr warranty.
I think by law you must/have to take the device back to the place you brought it from. And they take care for the transportation to the service. Sending it by courier is special service, and is not covered by the seller. Unless he is a giant like LG, which Huawei is not outside China. And the seller most likely is not Huawei itself, but some middleman ?
Where did you buy from phone from, and where did you friend get his LG ?
I have huawei 3 days service. They'll pick my device up for free and deliver it back to me in 3 days.

Uh oh protection for an S-OFF device

Woke up this morning to find that my phone fell of my nightstand and cracked sometime in the night.
It's S-OFF. Can I still use Uh Oh Protection on it?
Sent from my IBM Selectric
im not sure, but i have (asurion) replaced rooted phones in the past. don't mention it, plausible deniability. i doubt it will get noticed.
Did you order your device from vzw or HTC?

If he bought his 10 from vzw, he does not have uh-oh which is why I asked if he did before he wastes his time with HTC support.

Bought direct from HTC. S-offed in order to use on Verizon.
Does Sunshine still work on the most recent software versions of unlocked 10s?

You could try contacting HTC support on their website for a quick chat about uh-oh coverage . An HTC rep's word is much more credible than a random person online.

Samsung.com verizon note 7 order

What a huge disappointment. I just got off the phone with samsung 1-855-726-8721. I placed my order Aug. 3. They said they can't distribute the phone before the carriers. So my phone should be shipped out on the 26th but with it being Verizon it could be September 10. [emoji35]
