Htc desire eye - HTC Desire Eye

I am using Htc desire eye (AT&T) with android 4.4 kitkat. Recently, while trying to update my phone to android 5.0.2 lollipo, after the download being completed, It appeared that the download is corrupted and said me to download it again. Id did several times, but same result. I have done factory reset, but same thing is happening. Any solutions?

[Q] Can't modify ROM or reset device

Hi!
I have a DHD with the FroYo Stock ROM. The device crashes quite often for a few weeks now, and I decided to upgrade the ROM using the regular HTC Software update in-device function as the device already reminded me of it for some time now.
It downloads the new rom without any problems, asks me to install it, reboots - and stucks at the "HTC" Logo (not already showing the "quite brilliant", just "HTC"). I tried this several times - no changes at all.
I tried to do a factory reset then, first using the "rest" menu in the system settings, then using the bootloader (should be the bootloader, the thing that opens when starting the device while pressing the vol-down button). The same behaviour here - the device reboots and stucks at the HTC Logo. I need to remove the battery - and nothing has changed. Therefore it isn't even possible to reset it any more but in general it's still usable (sending txt messages, calling, using apps).
At last I tried to do a manual ROM Update, and therefore installed Visionary. Unfortunately it crashes when trying to click on "temp root".
Do you have any idea what the problem might be and what I can do (except of sending it back to HTC, it's my only phone).
Thank you in advance!
How did you try to update it? With OTA update? If that's the case then try to update with the appropriate RUU instead.
How do I do that? I updated using the update procedure of the phone itself (Software Info -> Check for Updates).
Search is your friend Here's a link (md5: 74B9CE337AFC58EEB83966A4D9D79990) to the WWE (the generic one) Gingerbread RUU. Download it to your computer, start the HTC Sync application on your computer, connect your phone with the USB cable in HTC Sync mode and run the exe-file you just downloaded.
If your phone is branded or from a region that uses a specific rom you need to download the corresponding RUU for it.
doesn't work either.. might there be a general problem with maybe the boot loader? any other way of resetting the device?
How did it fail?
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA App
Follow this guide to manually root.

The RUU exe runs problemless, the progress is shown on the device and I get an confirmation message that the rom has been updated successfully.
The device restarts again and I see the "HTC" logo where it stucks again. After removing the battery and restarting everything is just as before - the updated didn't complete.
Any ideas what the problem might be?
If your bootloader is still stock and all official updates fail, its possible that you have a defect device. The froyo crashes are also an indicator. Do you have warranty for it?
yes, but it's my only device and the delay of sending it to HTC and getting it back after some time would therefore be very annoying...
Is there anything else that I might try?

[Q] HTC DHD Not Updating to 2.3 Gingerbread

Hey guys,
I'm in Australia, using 3 network.I have a HTC Desire HD which is currently running Android 2.2. 2 nights ago, I got a notification for the Gingerbread update, downloaded it and hit install now. The phone rebooted to a screen with a triangle with an exclamation mark in it, and the droid guy. I waited for about 10 minutes, the same screen was there, then I fell asleep. I saw the screen the same way I left it before I slept, took the battery out so i can at least use it. And this whole day, I've been trying to update it, but still no luck. I did a factory reset, downloaded the update several times and tried installing it, it still gave me the same screen. I tried unrooting my phone, then tried it again same thing happened. I did most of the things I could find on the net, but still didn't work... I called 3 (three) AU network about it, they told me to go to a store but I wanted to know if anyone could help me before I go to the store and wait there the whole day for nothing, and I have rooted my phone, so they won't be doing anything, rather than doing my head in along with my parents.
I'm with 3 AU, had the phone for 2 months, rooted with S-Off.
Please Help!!!
You could maybe try to use a RUU update. It will probably work, but you will be on factory status after it.

I have tried that at least 3-4 times before but didn't work, now I tried it again after using this guide, and it worked. Thank you for reminding me about this again and thank you xda.
I had the same problem as you after download OTA and select install, DHD reboot and nothing more happens.
Download Ace_Gingerbread 2.36.405.8 RUU file here http://www.multiupload.com/DCU61Q12V2 and install from PC as works fine.
Then ust GingerBreak APK 1.20 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765 to root and get su back

Semi-Bricked One X while trying to install Revolution HD ROM

Hi all,
Not been here for a while so hello to all again!
My HTC One X is in for repair so I'm using my spare old phone - HTC One X.
Today I tried to install the Revolution HD ROM - yeah - I should have waited until my One X was back but such is life!
Anyway - I've not even managed to successfully install it yet and the One X sill have the Orange installed ROM 4.1.1.
I'm not sure what's happened but now the cellular and wifi / bluetooth won't start...I've tried a factory reset but it's still the same.
Apart from that from what I can see the rest of the One X works fine.
All I've done to get the Revolution HD ROM installed was dump it to the internal storage and run the win boot.img and enter recovery mode to flash it....when I did the last part I got a red triangle in recovery which I assume means it can't find boot files.
Can anybody help me resurrect it please? Thank-you!!
After a bit more messing around I successfully install CWM and got it to install. Yay!!

Strange problem

Firstly 1 month ago my phone started rebooting itself randomly and I was using s-team desire eye and I tried to upgrade to S5.2 X10.0.8u and it didn't worked phone goes into endless bootlop after that I tried to flash every rom and no one worked. And finally I tried stock rom in this thread firstly I think it worked firstly "android is upgrading" screen comes and after that first install language screen comes and it freezes for 1-2 second and bootloop again. Any help?
EYE_UL
UNLOCKED
S-ON
TWRP 3.0.0-0
I'm not sure, but your phone is s-on, and switching from MM back to LP is not good idea... maybe you should try to install stock MM rom?
Download the Lollipop RUU from the HTC's website and try it. Maybe that works...

HTC M9 Reboot issue

Hello friends,
My HTC M9 is acting weird. It reboots endlessly whenever I connect to any Wi-Fi.There is no problem when
Wi-Fi is off.
Recently this problem has stretched to the mobile data connection also. Therefore now I can't use Wi-Fi and data so that the phone won't start rebooting.
Please help.
Is the phone rooted etc, we need more info. Do you remember when it started doing it?.
If the phone is running a stock rom and firmware you can try factory test mode by calling *#*#3424#*#*.

The phone is not rooted.Running stock Android 6.0
The problem started when I rebooted the device because the playstore updates where failing.
On that reboot, the phone was stuck on HTC One splash screen. So I pressed power, vol up & down to restart. Then it booted up.
When my Wi-Fi connection came up the phone started rebooting which is where the problem started.I tried a factory reset and it doubled the problem affecting data connection also.
Most times when I factory reset or reboot it will be stuck at HTC One splash screen and I will have to restart again.
The device model is OPJA100

Tried to install ruu.The Update utility proceeded until final step where it tells "It may take 10 mins to update your device".
The small window came up and phone rebooted to bootloader...deleted user data...and then a window came up saying update failed. The phone rebooted and now freezes at HTC One splash screen(Tried another reset but nothing).
What maybe the problem..is it because i'm having wrong ruu?
I am from India and here we don't use carrier devices.(The phones are not locked to any carrier.)
Note : I did not install HTC Sync Manager.Just enabled usb debugging in device settings.
what does it say in the update fail pop up? any error #?

The error code is 132 signarure error.
Update : I left the phone which was freezed showing HTC One splash screen and it turned off after the battery run out.
Now I plugged it in and powered on and the phone completed the boot and came to homescreen.
The problem is still there though.
So tried unlocking the bootloader and installing a custom rom and voila...the problem is now solved.
So I guess it was a software issue after all.
Didn't get as many replies as I expected but thanks everyone.
