Hi all,
Not been here for a while so hello to all again!
My HTC One X is in for repair so I'm using my spare old phone - HTC One X.
Today I tried to install the Revolution HD ROM - yeah - I should have waited until my One X was back but such is life!
Anyway - I've not even managed to successfully install it yet and the One X sill have the Orange installed ROM 4.1.1.
I'm not sure what's happened but now the cellular and wifi / bluetooth won't start...I've tried a factory reset but it's still the same.
Apart from that from what I can see the rest of the One X works fine.
All I've done to get the Revolution HD ROM installed was dump it to the internal storage and run the win boot.img and enter recovery mode to flash it....when I did the last part I got a red triangle in recovery which I assume means it can't find boot files.
Can anybody help me resurrect it please? Thank-you!!
After a bit more messing around I successfully install CWM and got it to install. Yay!!

So my HTC One X Plus is stuck in bootloop. Here is what happened. I just got the phone and the first thing I did was unlock it. Everything was fine. Next I went to root it using RootBootV5. Here is where the issue came up. At the end of the root process my phone should have loaded the lock screen. Instead it just sat on the White HTC quietly brilliant. Stayed that way for hours.
So i rebooted into bootloader and tried everything I can possibly think of to fix it, Factory Reset, Fastboot Erase Cache, even folloed this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609190.
Nothing is working and I don't know what to do. I don't think the phone was successfully rooted so i cant simply flash a new rom. Also recovery is not working, just a black screen.
PLEASE HELP.
you should try the one x+ forum

I had the exact same problem with Rootboot V5 and I fixed it by following this guide

This guide will help you flash a new ROM for the One X+
My One X+ was bricked for a WHOLE day and I finally got it to work with this guide this morning.
GOOD LUCK and ask me if you have any issues. I'll be glad to help. I understand how it feels to have a 700 dollar paperweight.
Hi Community,
I have a massive problem and I hope you can help me.
I rooted my HTC One X successfully and tried to flash custom roms on it which kind of worked. I put the zip folder on the internat sd card and flashed it without flashing the boot.img.
Finnaly I found out to do that, flashed the boot.img but while installing the ROM the problem code/status 7 appeared and I had to restart the phone in order to put the right rom onto the phone, which i had on my computer.
But while booting, the phone just got stuck in bootloop showing the HTC logo.
I already tried quite a lot of stuff to rescue my phone, for example to restore the nandroid backup - didnt work, flash another backup onto phone - still bootloop, flashed a new rom with boot.img - still bootloop.
The only solution i could find was to unroot the device and flash the stock rom onto it.
Is that really my last resort or is there another way?
Thanks for your help.
Hello all, I recently rooted my HTC One M8 from T-Mobile and flashed a GPE ROM with TWRM recovery. Everything was successful, no big deal at all. I decided a little awhile ago that I would like to get the factory updates, so I decided to install the original GPE recovery. I installed the recovery file "recoverygpe.img" through ABD and FASTBOOT. All was successful, rebooted my phone and decided to install the updates OTA and when my phone went to reboot it and install the updates the screen went black and the little android icon popped up with a red triangle over his stomach. Now my phone won't load past the HTC powered by android screen and my ABD and FASTBOOT won't work at all. I feel helpless probably shouldn't have attempted doing this. BTW I'm using a Mac. If I need to run over my phone and get a new one I will.
Nah you don't have to run over it, okay? Look, just do this:
First, are you s-off or s-on?
I have a big problem with my HTC (1.5 Ghz Tegra). I have rooted my phone and tried to install custom rom named Orio X. Although I followed the instructions, it's stuck on boot logo. I haven't saved my stock rom. I don't know what should I do. I clean cache and darvik, but it didn't help. Is there any way that i can save my phone?
Also, is there any other way to transfer rom to phone other than adb because I reinstalled drivers and did everything, but it just won't work. Maybe the rom is corrupted and i would try some different rom? I am stuck for three days.
Guys I think i did something a little stupid haha
I received my new HTC M9 today. I rooted the device, installed TWRP just fine, and then I installed a custom ROM (all as I did with my M8).
My problem is that after installing the custom ROM (which installed successfuly) now the phone gets stuck in the HTC logo.
Now adb don't recognize the phone even when I manually enter download mode. I don't know what to do
Can someone give any ideas?
I solved it. Please close the thread
