I dunno if it's AT&T or my phone. I sometimes have to redial a number 3 or 4 times before it'll go through. It often just hangs up before trying to dial. Anyone else experiencing this? It's been doing it for months really but lately it seems to be a dozen times a day. In different markets to (I travel from Pittsburgh to Columbus or Cleveland nearly every day).

I have never had a problem with roaming in my house. Today it has been going in and out randomly for no reason. Is there anything I can do to help it? This is the first time this has ever happened.
I have been having lots of problems in my house as well. I received an airave awhile ago and after like two weeks of it working great I am getting random loss of signal all the time. For now im forcing roam with roam control so I can atleast send txt's and call. I don't know if its a sprint issue or not but it's very. Frustrating.

Lately something strange has been going on with my data speeds. For starters I have tested this one two tmobile s3s in the same location so it must be a service issue. Well at my house I used to get pretty decent speeds I have slow ass wifI so my 4g was always being used instead simply because it was always faster. Well for the passed 5 days I cant even load pages inside or around my house even a block down.. it says 4g in the status bar and the arrows light up like normal but I cant do anything! Couldnt send pics thru mms or load web pages and fb, twitter etc same thing with my friends s3.. is anyone experiencing this anywhere else? I live in Miami.. the funny thing is not even 15 min away from.my neighborhood I hit 20mb down.. wtf. Maybe tmobile doing somethin to the towers in my area?? Anyone seeing this type of service?
Ps. Ive flashed several modems and all give same result. I'm on stock rooted lh2..

Definately sounds like a problem with the tower. Id call tmobile anyway. If its a problem they're not aware of, the longer it takes em to find out the longer till its fixed.

Have you tried apps like Network Signal Speed boost from the playstore.
Same here. I drive a minute and have perfect service. It has been almost a month and it seems to be getting worst. I get no bars on 4g and 2 average on edge. I now have to rely exclusively on wifi calling. I think my 10 years of tmo are finally up

I recieved a text from tmobile that they will be servicing NJ area towers on 9/17 and it has never been the same since. About 2 years ago my service degraded but I was still able to get at least a few bars of 4G which was alleviated by the house signal booster. That booster is not compatible with EDGE.
I've called TMO at least 4 times, they always say give it 72 hours to hear back from the engineers. I call back 3 days later and get the same story. I do not know what is going on at this company right now but I do not like the direction they seem to be heading.
Damn, I thought it was only me, LOL.
I'm getting terrible speeds, like 200-300kbits.
Other places in the city (Sugar land) I usually get 15-16mbits.
I keep getting this data roaming guard warning popping up and can't get it to stop. I have turned all of the roam guard settings off except for the GSM settings but I can't turn those off because they are greyed out and locked to be checked. I don't care that my phone goes into roaming, infact its going to happen a lot due to riding the metro every morning where the stations are above ground but the track between each is under ground with AT&T service. my problem with it is a) it turns the phone on every time wasting battery and b)it wont stop.
This also happens in places with low reception for sprint.
So short of turning my phone off or the data service off during times where this could happen, is there a way to get those locked check boxes unchecked or to stop the notifications?
I have exactly the same issue extremely annoying. I figure the fall for the wrong and plan on calling sprint see what they can do about it. I. don't imagine theyll have any ideas and the call will be a waste of time but. if you don't complain they won't fix it.

What's even stranger is that I've had it tell me it can't send a text due to "International Roaming"
I live in the Midwest. No international roaming here!

Glad I am not the only one having this issue. I thought surely there was a button I was missing. I just came from the Evo3D and had this problem when using a Virgin Mobile ported rom. I work in the middle of a corn field so roaming happens more frequently than not
Same here i'm in Irving, TX noticed when I get it, I just hit the on/off switch and error went away.
same issue. live in south jersey. I always hit send anyway when trying to send a text in "international roaming". i figured once my bill is 1,000's of $$ for international roaming can I argue and blame it on them. clearly I have not left the country nor am I close enough to Canada to pick up Rogers/whatever I remember picking up in upstate NY

So I upgraded two phones last week to the note ii. Phone is amazing but only when I actually have signal for more than 5 minutes. I can pull 18mbps and then timeout witb no connection 30 seconds later. This happens 3 miles or so, any direction from my house.
I also do not receive calls or text at times. When I finally use the phone to make a call, my phone gets flooded with the missed texts and voicemails.
I have done 2 soft resets and a hard reset. My other note ii is experiencing the same issues. I thought it was an issue with the towers being worked on but tmobile said they werent. The tower is half a mile from where I work and that's where I have the worst signal.
Anyone else having similiar problems or have suggestions?

Anyone else have this problem? When I go to pick up the phone the person on the other end can not hear me but I can hear them? It does not happen all the time though. It happens when I was stock and continues to happen now that I'm rooted and on another ROM. It started recently when I moved to an area that I actually had LTE coverage. But like most of you I don't use my phone as a phone and rarely receive phone calls. So not a major issue but just an annoyance. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyone having the same issue?

Call sprint sometimes their towers mess up. They cant fix it if they dont know about it i used to have 40 Kbps at work and i called to complain; turns out only 1 tower reached my workplace. So they flagged it as a capacity issue and changed the prl so that that tower gives people all it's got instead of expecting 4 other towers to share the load now i get 1.5Mbps at work (all 3g)

Had already tried contacting Sprint. They said there are no issues with any towers around this area. They had me do the obvious, reset my phone, pop out the battery, update the PRL, update the profile, ect. Still happened last night when I got a call from a coworker. He couldn't hear me but I could hear him. I called him right back and no issues then.
Any other thoughts?
