Hi,
Since this moring my phone is constantly rebooting. It first started when I tried to update 6 apps via the market. I´m on Paranoid Android 1.9.9.1. it worked smooth without any problems until today. I´ve alredy tried to reflash erverything but everytime i get the same result: the phone working for a minute and then suddenly out of the nowhere rebooting even if i don´t use it. Then i tried to wipe my phone which didn´t work either. Neither via cwm nor through the settings. Of course i have already searched the forum for possible solutions but it seems like i´m the only one who has ever experienced it. Could someone please led me to a thread wher my problem is discussed or provide me a solution i don´t what to do . Thanks in advance for everyone who is trying to help me.
P.S. I found out that i doesn´t reboot if i do not unlock it. If i unlock it either with sim inserted or not it reboots. WTF???

Flash your phone back to stock first to see if that resolves the issue.

I´ve already tried to do something similar, but the problem is that everytime I try to copy something to my sd it reboots.

You don't need to copy anything to your sdcard. Flash back to stock using this.

If you have any CPU apps that apply settings at boot maybe that's causing the reboots

Hi,
it seems I managed to break my GNex is a very unusual way - mentioned in an earlier thread but never got picked up. I'm more fortunate here.
So, what's happening?
My GNex (GSM) us running:
4.3 Stock
Baseband: I9250XXLJ1
Kernel: 3.0.72-gfb3c9ac
Build JWR66Y
The phone is unlocked but currently not rooted.
The phone randomly reboots shortly after startup. Often there are error messages informing about different Google services ending.
I tried:
- factory reset
- flashing sock image using Odin
- (re)lock & unlock
- flashing CM 10.1.3
- using all format and clear options with CWM
- even remote wipe with Google Devices Manager
Whatever I do, once the phone starts up it loads the exact same data it was on before and seems to be stuck on one certain point.
- Apps that it updated, update again
- files I delete, are back
- Deleted Wifi Password is back
- Changed Google Account information is missing
I read about the emmc bug but I can't check using the app since it will reboot before it loads the app.
Does anybody have an idea what I could try to get the phone working again? How I can flash something that actually sticks? I'd appreciate any ideas & help

Hey...i have the same problem with my phone. Galaxy Nexus..
Did you manage to get the EMMC changed?..if yes then where and how much did it cost?
Hi,
I didn't. I talked to Samsung and they gave me details on how to send the phone in, but since the bootloader is unlocked, there is no more warranty on it, so I would have to pay. Don't know how much it would be though. Let me know how much you pay should you go for it..
Hey all,
My problem is that since I flashed busybox on my HTC One (M8) International edition (version 1.54.161.10), everytime I charge my phone, it gets progressively slower until it freezes and reboots (or something like that because it isn't a regular reboot) and some features are missing (I thinks it's safe mode), for example, the screen doesn't turn off (even if I click the power button).... The "not so bad" thing is that when I restart the phone normally, it works without any problem! But still, this problem is really annoying...
I'm not sure the problem is related with busybox, but it would be a coincidence that all the problems started when I installed it.
I also haven't tried to remove the busybox, because I dont want to mess even more my phone right now. The most I did was some factory reset (via TWRP), but I had no luck.
At the moment these are the things I have on the phone:
Unlocked bootloader
S-On (firewater doesn't support my model yet)
TWRP recovery
Root (latest su)
Busybox (Sterickson, I think)
There is an OTA update for my phone, but I can't find the correct stock recovery for my model
Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be or what I can do to fix it?
Thanks in advance!

Worth a shot I suppose, "coincidence" or not. I had similar issues when I installed xposed framework on my device. It would just randomly reboot and freeze for no reason. I uninstalled xposed and it was fine
Do the update and see what it does, if it still does it try and uninstall busybox, if it solves issue then you know what the problem was. You can always try and install busybox again, maybe it didn't work quite right the first time around or something. :silly:
Hello devs, seems like I am in trouble. I am using TWRP in Asus Zenfone 2 - A008D Model, Bootloader is Unlocked. So, after I flashed Cyanogen Mod 13 and GAPPS-x86-6.0-Micro, I rebooted the device. All apps got upgraded at first and when Cyanogen started showing the initial setup, device suddenly started locking and unlocking itself, repeatedly! It is not stopping at all. I had to force close it using power-button. This happens for all ROMs including stock ROM. Any solutions? Thanks.
Sample video : youtube.com/watch?v=VmvAJSVGmt0
P.S: Let me know how do I get logcat info at such situation. (I can barely click anything) :crying: Help needed.
Update: The issue is resolved in stock ROM by turning off the Asus Cover. May I know how do I resolve the same issue when I do initial boot using CyanogenMod 13 (i.e, while setup).
It looks like your phone thinks you're using the smart view cover.
I don't know whether this is the case, but on other phones the smart view cover is detected using magnets, so, do you have any strong magnetic source around that could interfere?
Anyway, I think your best option is trying to disable the ASUS smart cover app. If your phone is rooted and you can access it through adb while connected to a pc, you can disable apps using adb shell command. More info here:
http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/56620/enable-and-disable-system-apps-via-adb
The only thing you need to know is the package name for the app. According to its details page on Google Play, it's com.asus.flipcover2. Once disabled, reboot the phone and see if it works. You can also uninstall the app completely.

Hey jman0, thanks a lot for the reply. The issue is resolved in stock ROM. Now, can you please tell me how to resolve the same issue in CyanogenMod 13. When I finish flashing, the initial setup is ruined because of the frequent locking and unlocking. Any solutions? Thanks.

Oh, that is totally fine. Thanks anyways.
I need help figuring out how to diagnose why my phone has random reboots numerous times everyday. There is no discernible pattern to the issue. Happens when I'm browsing the internet, using apps, listening to music, etc. I've taken a bug report after the phone reboots but I don't know what to look for. I also submitted the issue to the Android issue tracker but got the standard reply that they can't reproduce the issue. Is there a log I can save that might be of use?
Try booting your phone in safe mode, then check if the phone reboots, if it doesn't, that means an app is causing your phone to reboot but if it still reboots, then that means the OS is messed up. Can you describe your issue in detail?

I was tired if dealing with the constant issues so I bought a OnePlus 6t off Swappa.
You could try to reflash the entire OS and use it as a "beta" machine.
