Guys today when i detached and tried to draw something with spen i saw that its not working, to make sure that my phone's internals are ok(i dropped i few times, wanted to be sure) i checked my bro's spen, and it was working on my phone the problems is spen itself, literally only spen stopped working how can i fix it, or is there an actual fix for it

Im having a weird issue since the last 2 days with my samsung galaxy 551 (callisto), when i turn on the phone the touchscreen works perfectly, when i open the pyshical keyboard to write something, the touchscreen stop working, i have to turn off the screen, wait 2 or 3 seconds and turn on again and the touchscreen start working again, this issue are present since the last 2 days, i have mothns using custom roms (CM7.2, Jellybread,etc) and this problem are present in all those roms included the stock 2.3.6, is a hardware issue? and which component are faulty? thanks
Do you got any solution to your problem?. I have nearly your same problem, but the touchscreen isnt working. I got to work it sometimes by locking the screen and unlocking it with the power button, but since yestarday that workaround is not working anymore. Any ideas?.
On any rom, even before I rooted, I have had an issue where my phone thinks the s pen is detached when inserted and vice versa. So, on the stock rom if the s pen is inserted I get the little pen symbol on top and the s pen related apps pop up, the opposite of what is supposed to happen. I would appreciate any solution to this problem. I've tried searching the forums with no luck so far. Thanks
okay, so I've had my Xperia zl for about 13 months.
I never rooted it or altered anything majorly, just installed nokias z launcher.
5 days ago my microphone stopped working. two days ago, my front camera stopped working. and today, my earpiece stopped working as well.
when I try to make a call, my light sensor shuts down completely and disables everything until the other party disconnects from the call. as well, my battery is draining twice as quickly even though I haven't been using my phone as often as previously.
before these things started happening I didn't install any new apps or change anything. I've done a firmware repair through the pc companion and two factory resets. nothing has worked.
does this sound like a motherboard issue? or is this just a problem with connectors coming loose?

Its looks like it. Open your back cover and remove the connector which connects your front camera(the connector which is in bottom left).Now reconnect the connector. switch on your phone. See if this helps
Yesterday suddenly my phone just deny to work with touch screen. I try hard reset with update.zip. I try clear data with button combination. I wonder what can be the cause? Is there anyone with the same problem? I wonder if i change the touch screen what will happen? Because the screen is not broken, i didnt hit the phone. The touch stopped just when it was with screen off. I hit the power button to wake it up, and then cant swipe.
Yes unfotunately mine as well. It happened 1 year ago, touchscreen used to work randomly. So I sent it back to China, but it was working perfectly.
After getting it back it worked for 1 month, and since impossible to do anything. Without touchscreen no TWRP, no backup possible, no flash.
It's a brick now and it is no guaranteed anymore. I lost my money my time and my nerves.
So sorry for you but I don't think you'll manage to fix it. I think it's an hardware issue.
You can try use OTG cable and a mouse.
Mine touchscreen have an row in the middle, with about 1 centimeter that don't recognize the touch, all the rest work perfect. With a mouse, work all.
Mine stopped working one morning. I left the phone on the bedside table and the next morning the touch screen didn’t work..that’s all…the screen is fine, I didn’t have any accident with it...
It was 4 months ago.. I tried everything I could to revive the phone, but I couldn’t.. so I bought a new phone, from different brand obviously

Yes, my note only works with the SPen, but i want to try with that menu to see if it can made that the touchscreen works again or not, but i have the problem that i said.
I'm in the N920AUCU5ERB5 system.
I tried with the Binary System 5 and it made the same error.
Could it be that the touchscreen it's really broken?
New Information
Hello, this morning when I woke up I took my cell phone and I did not take it well and it fell to the floor, nothing was broken, so I decided to restart it to see what happened, when I did the touch screen was working.
I'm not saying that if the touch screen does not work, drop your cell phone NO, but it is likely that if this is failing have to open the cell phone disconnect and reconnect the cable that connects to the screen, maybe work as in my case although it was unexpected.
And yes, the *#2663# is working now, but how the touchscreen is working i don't going to update that.
