[Q] Paranoid Android, Rom and Kernel, doubt - Paranoid Android Q&A

hello people, I am Brazilian and I do not speak English law, so I'm with the Google translator assistance, I hope that even understand that!
Let's cut to the chase, I set up a rom on my I-9100 [S2]. But how do not understand roms exchange and much less kernels, wanted to know if this rom:
Build Version: 4.45
Build Date: 07/29/2014
Size: 155.35 MB
MD5: e5e6d3e1e05c325be2ec4014c80d227b
File: pa_i9100-4.45-20140729.zip
Accompanies Kernel for i-9100.
And if you do not follow I install the rom without problems?
(A question, this version of android is the 4.4.4? Or 4.4.2? Sorry about the lack of knowledge!)
THE PARANOID ANDROID ROM!

Install the latest version. 4.6 beta 6. All roms include a kernel. 4.4.4

I think you need a common file like with SlimICS, but I can't seem to find it. 70mb is on the small side for a JB rom

Huge thanks Val D. Should have had more coffee.lol
Completely missed the unsupported files on the slim site.
You have a great day!
No problem. Navigation on slimroms.net is a bit confusing. Unfortunately, they delete older builds. In my opinion build 6 was best 4.2.2 based Slim. If you are looking for a light and fast ROM, than try ported CyanCore v.4.0.0 (CM based) and GamerzROM v4.0, both stripped down versions of CM10.1, Android 4.2.2. Both are stable and good for daily use.

[Q] Android 5.0 AOSP

Hi,
I know, that sooner or later there will be a CM ROM based on Android 5.0 for our n7100. But it will be really nice to see pure AOSP ROM, compiled from sources of 5.0. I don't know, if is it possible, so I'm posting a question about it.
I remember I had i9000 long time ago, and somebody created AOSP 4.0 ROM for it - that was the best, most stable and fastest ROM I've ever used on i9000. Compiled from Google sources, without any add-ons. Hope to see Android 5.0 AOSP for n7100 sometime...

Most stable ROM

Hello guys.
Could you please suggest me the most stable ROM (your opinion) for my GALAXY NEXUS i9250 ?
I am not interesting in latest Android features I am interesting in stability.
Thanks !
Unlegacy Aosp KitKat 4.4.4 with kernel 1gb is speed and estable.
I've tried android 6 and 7, and for me android 5.1 (CM12.1) is the best blend of stability and newness. Things multitask well, and I don't get video crashes. Unfortunately it's not being updated anymore, and I don't know if or when the newer releases will be as stable. But for now, it's new enough, because the last build I've found is not even a year old yet!
i think the slimrom 6 is my choice because it's stable but when install too many app it will lag again.

Hello, sorry to bother you. Does anyone have a download link please? In the CM thread the links are dead unfortunately. Thanks.
same here.. any working links for the latest CM 5.1 ?
LOS 14.1 works stable for me. You just need to turn off the system animations.

Where can I find out what Rom I'm using??

I know this is a ridiculous question. I have been on the same rom for a while. I thought it was Experience, but I cannot remember (it's been several months since I flashed a rom). This one keeps updating...(WIFI is lousy).
7.1.1
Kernal is 3.18.31 perf+
[email protected]#1
OnePlus A3000_16_170527
OP3_o2_Open_17
Build # MPSS_TH2.0c1.9 with a lot of #'s after
What rom is this?? Great Rom, but my wifi has real issues.
Thanks
Dave

Its the beta os stock rom. You only get beta otas by updater. But thats fine, beta is also rock stable nearly every time.
