still its not an perfect answer to my question bocz many face the problem after unlocking bootloader!

Some have long hair and some have it a little too short, does it matter?
Truth is that the problem is the same since some cases ( like mine ) have used all official, no unlocks, no roots and have the same problem. It's a model problem.

ZL C6503 turning off after rooting

Unlocked bootloader and rooted phone but now is causing my issues. Whenever I use mobile data and connect to maps my phone turns off after 30 seconds or so. Sometimes it won't even turn on I have to connect to charger then it's fine. This happens every time.
I'm on 4.2.2
Build .244
This started after I flashed the above build. This happens Even on older versions. Help please.
You did a full reset and wipe (incl the internal SD)?
Problems otherwise likely.

I believe so will try again.should I flash via external card? Come to thinking don't think I did.
No difference still same issue.
Should have left it no point rooting this, last time I probably buy Sony.
Only seems to be you having problems... not Sony's fault if you alone can't get it.

that's true my fault for buying it.
I think it might something to do with overheating?

I have C6506, I have overheating and reboots. When it overheats a little it reboots automatically, sometimes even doesn't get to homescreen.
I've send a letter to sony, but about 4 days, no answer!
I rooted the phone, unlocked the bootloader, flashed stock firmware and nothing changed for a while, but then suddenly it rebooted.
And I locked bootloader, and full wiped all phone, all sd cards, but no luck. Even unrooted the phone, but the Overheating is still there. ;(
Some tips.Answer for Z1 is firmware downgrading, but is it for our ZL! ?

Well in the end I just sent it in for repairs. Sony are trying to fix issue, it's been over 10 days still not sorted. I think they are awaiting parts, will keep you posted.
Unsure if I will be charged for this or not.
Btw downgrading didn't make a difference.

I guess Sony makes it harder for them selves for making so much problems with these Battery's for ZL,Z,Z1 phones. So much clients are very sad and angry and probably they won't buy another Xperia phone ever again. This was an SHOCK FOR ME, that such a company (SONY) would be so lightminded about their phones.
REALLY SAD!
Waiting for you'r answer!
I'll be posting too, when sony writes back!

This experience has left me very dissatisfied with Sony, I dont think I'll be buying xperia again but if they fix issue for free might consider sony in the future.
2 companies on my list I try to avoid LG and Sony when it comes to smartphones.

That's very interesting maybe that's why sony have not mentioned anything about cost, even though I've rooted and unlocked bootloader.
A month is a long wait mind you.

I did flash generic rom and unlock boot loader via flash tool.
Some say that these problems with inbuilt battery are because of the chargers.
The seller i bought from said that it could solve the problem by finsing the original usb cable and the charger.
The problem with me is that my adapter is for USA and I can't simply use in Latvia(Europe).
So try charging youre phone with original usb and adapter, that came with youre phone.
Somebody knows prices for fizing this problem if sony charges from me.?

root and hardware

Hi, so i got a G4 H815 and i can unlock my bootloader, but my only concern is that after unlocking it my warranty will be void.
So my question is does anyone have a hardware problem? Like screen problems or anything?
I unlocked my bootloader, but I didn't notice my digitizer is broken. It's really dysfunctional. Using multi-touch results in my phone thinking that I'm touching the screen at random locations. Scrolling is a pain in the arse as well.
I don't know whether I can send my phone to LG to just get it fixed. I should be, since the law in the Netherlands states that if it's a hardware fault, you still have warranty.
Returned my first G4 because of a faulty screen.
I had Bootloader unlocked it via LG Dev site and had no problem getting a new one.

thanks a lot!
I have personally not had a single issue that would make me need to take the phone back and swap it out.
I understand that you are nervous about that, but just be careful as far as drops and around liquids and you will be good to go buddy.

LG G4 - H815P - Logo Loop

Hello,
I have just entered this loop. And I have contacted LG but they mentioned that my mobile presents some scratches that voids the warranty. Im almost 99.98% positive that this scratches dont cause the issue.
So I'm looking for an alternative...if there is...
Ive done the factory reset and the issue still persists.
I've let the battery run out 100 and then recharge and redo the factory reset and nothing.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Get in touch with LG again. This makes 0 sense that scratches would be in any way related to the issue caused by the faulty motherboards. I had mine dented and sent for repair to LG and no questions were asked as this is not even related to the problem. If the person on the other side of the line refuses to accept RMA insist on talking to the manager. This is well known issue and LG stated that they will be fixing/replacing faulty motherboards.

Is there a statement about this?
I'm currently based in mexico city and for some reason I have to go through my mobile carrier and the mobile carrier technicians do the 'evaluation'.
Thanks,
Rodrigo

The are couple of articles on the web:
http://www.techradar.com/news/phone...-loop-problem-and-it-s-offering-a-fix-1313769
http://www.androidauthority.com/lg-admits-g4-bootloop-problem-hardware-fault-669603/
It is not as widespread issue like exploding Note 7 but most of the stores and carriers are aware of it and most of them either replacing or sending to LG for repair without many questions.

XA1 Screen issue

:crying:So basically I got this device about 6 months ago but i've started to notice that the device has trouble detecting when i've pressed the "P" button on the keyboard (touchscreen issues) Now this isn't an uncommon issue as show here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xa1/help/xperia-xa1-touch-edge-display-properly-t3618099
I'm fine with sending it back to Sony, however, I have got my device with an unlocked bootloader. Technically it should be illegal to prevent warranty in the EU because of an unlocked bootloader (though it doesn't seem to make a difference with phone companies)
Well i'm just wondering if it would make a difference to relock the bootloader to stock everything. Would they refuse to service it? Anyone else had these experiences?
Cheers :good:
YouExPERIENCEd YOU a Distribution Update is what the Problenזז
We,ll We've Got XA1s And its Special But they ****ed Up it appearance There is hardware issue Which you would figure NEW screen would fix and some how! it probably would
Here's The thing, It's obvious and i would me Lying To my_Self
if we WERE To Just Settle and Say oh crap it's a Bad screen issue
But isn't Here's The proof, "faked" dead-areas Work on The lockscreen So they are sabotaging phone functions with update

Display flickering issue and hard display

Though the device is usable I am facing display flickering issues. The flickering seems to negligible at this moment, but I can see it flickering more if I use night mode apps. The display is also hard and sometimes unresponsive while typing.
PLEASE HELP.
I flashed stock rom yesterday thinking it might be software problem but the problem is still there, I took to service center today, the guy there doesn't seem to be a tech enthusiast, he's saying we will update/flash the software our way and the problems will be gone.
Should I give it for servicing or is there any other way ?

Is it a Motorola authorised service centre? If yes then you can try. Because Motorola people would have other softwares to flash. But if it is a local service centre, I would give a second thought.
Thanks

Yes its an authorised service centre. I feel like its a hardware issue but I cannot confirm, do you think they can really fix it with software.?
And I have to relock the bootloader before giving them?

If it is a hardware issue then they may place order for the part. I am not much comfortable with relocking procedure. @lohanbarth or @vaserbanix could tell more on this.
Thanks

Yes thank you brother. I will see what I can do. I will keep updating.
personally, I never relock bootloader of my motorola, but I do not think that motorola takes it as a guarantee if the Bootloader and unlock, or the costs will be at your expense.
