note 3 voice recognition not functioning - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I recently used the cleaner to remove the bloat ware from my note 3. Like a nub I didn't think to check the file list and accidentally picked the one that removed all the cool features from the phone.. Most importantly the voice recognition was gone.
So I downloaded a complete app file and put it in the appropriate folder and did a factory reset. Almost everything went back to stock except one thing. My voice activation of the camera, music, and alarm clock no longer works. I am also not getting the notification at the top telling me that I can use said voice functions. Additionally the voice setting is missing in the settings screen. I can still get to it by searching for the settings and it says it's on.. and I can even change it ect.. but still nothing. The only thing I can do is say "hi Galaxy" to wake the phone. S voice still works And I Can Search And Text And All that.
So what am I missing? Is it just a simple ask that I may have overlooked? Any help would be awesome.. or directions to a download of a 100% complete stock app folder would be awesome

nevermind.. found the stock rom

OK.....what should MSVC Notification Options be set to?
Cheers
i think the software u hav isnt complete because when u install it correctly and reboot when receiving a call or text it should say who is textin or callin u, but msvc works without any problems, if u hav the full verison goto start-settings-voice command-contacts and then hit options button to see if active
More importantly, can we change the voice to something more human?
I think this is a cracking piece of software, although it would be nice if it could also read out your RSS feeds (when asked to do so) and it would be amazing if you could dictate txt messages.
The only down side to using it with the Touch HD is that you have to map the call button to long press, to make it listen. Not the end of the world, but not as good as just being able to click once. For some reason it wont let me map the "back" button, which would be better, since I never use it.
Also while you are able to start applications via voice command ("start camera" being one of the most useful). There doesnt seem to be a way to close the apps in the same way.

I agree that it is a cracking piece of software.
Maybe with AEButton you can map the back button to the 'voicecmd.exe'
I tried the trial from two different sites and whenever i install it on the HD i got a "unrecoverable error" when installation finishes.
First time i was unable to even access settings to remove it so i had to resort to ActiveSync to get rid of it.
Another try from a different source gave me the same error but this time round i was able to access settings to remove it.
I'm afraid of even trying anymore.

Ummm - I do have the complete MS Voice Command and based on another post now realise that each sub-function in the menu has its own options.
I had assumed the Option button was just a general overall one. The "User Guide" is a tad basic really....
So all sorted now and thanks to all with advice....much appreciated.
Now then....how can we change this to either a smooth female voice or Basil Fawlty....???
Cheers

not tried that yet, but i'll give it a go.
Using the xperia panels I have been able to map a software button, but obviously the current panels port, isnt 100% as you frequently need to exit in order to do certain things.
OK....I have just realised that although the voice actually works....the phone vibrates but doesn't use the set 'incoming call ring tone'....I would have expected "Ringtone and Vibration" (as it is set) and then voice breaks in with callers name, etc.
What am I missing?
Can someone either attach screenshots of Options and Notification settings or list their Options settings for Contacts and Phone please?
Much appreciated.....
Anyone experience random crashing of their HD? Mine start doing it after I installed this app, this morning my HD did not woke me up so I checked my phone and it was completely dead, power button won't work so I had to resort to the softreset button. This has happened again twice today and I just don't understand where its coming from, as the phone wasn't doing anything in particular at the time(obviously as I was sleeping when it first happened). Only thing I can think of is that its conflicting with AEButton plus, which I used to map the VC to the volume button.
What is the different between this and Cyberon Voice Commander which comes bundled with my THD?
Hi,
I am using Dutty Extreme 2.1, everything seems to work apart from it not reading my e-mails or SMS messages out??
Is it suppose to do this and how can I get it working?
Thanks

[Q] Simplicity Rom - VoiceSearch Issue

Ok, so I flashed the semi-new Simplicity Base Rom (published 1/18/11) and it works really well. I get great battery life, i've added the apps I need/want, and changed a couple things to get it to look the way i want.
One of the things I changed was the the Google Search Box (I used Myn's 2.2 dark box...very nice) and up till a couple days ago it was working beautifully. I think what happened was I updated the Voice Search app from the Market and that seemed to screw the Voice Search feature up.
Now, all I get is "No Speech Heard" when I tap the microphone button. The app doesnt even try to listen for sound, as if the microphone isn't even initializing. Anyway, I tried uninstalling the searchbox and the voicesearch apps and then reinstalling....nothing seems to be working. I'm hoping someone can offer up some good answers.

[Q] Strangest thing ever.......

So ive just turned on my phone to browse the web using ICS Browser + and on each and every page i open i get a voice telling me which page im on........
If i click a link then the voice reads out the link and im taken to the next page......
If i click the search bar on my home screen and type 'dinosaurs' (example) and hit enter im taken to google and the voive says "dinosaurs - google search"
Ive killed all programs/rebooted my phone and still it persists..... even tried on stock browser too.
Im on International stock 1.28 if it makes a difference!
Any idea whats going on and how i can turn this off?
UPDATE - played around with a few settings and i made sure that the 'talkback' feature in 'accessibilty' was turned off but still i got the voice.
Remembered that i installed 'Widgetsoid' a little while ago and tried turning off its notification ability in the same menu as 'talkback' and the voice went away.
Perhaps there is a conflict here and having 'widgetsoid' allowed in this menu somehow enables 'talkback' to run even if its not checked in the box........
Very strange lol

Haha I had the exactly same problem when I first got my Galaxy Nexus, It's incredibly irritating and annoying.
It's a bug in ICS; when something is ticked in the Accessibility menu other ones randomly activate too! As far as I know, there's no way to properly fix it. ><

[Q] multi window does not respond to back key

Would much appreciate help/advise/pointers with respect to the following:
The problem: multi windows does not work. Long press on the “back” key just does not have any effect whatsoever.
Yes, multi-window toggle is on. Yes, cleared data, cache, restarted, used garlic and holy water, etc, to no avail. Yes, I’ve read through the forums extensively, and did not find any info related to my problem.
Tried to install multi-window manager from the play store, same nothing. Checked apk, permissions, etc. – all seems to be in fine order. The only thing that seems suspicious is that /data/data/com.sec.android.app.FlashBarService is empty – which kind of suggests to my amateurish mind that something somewhere does not get started. Checked that services framework is up, but that’s about the limit of my diagnostic skills on Android.
Oh yeah, running latest OTA version of AT&T 4.2.1 Note 2 stock, rooted.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

[Q] talk to text icon gone

I have a Galaxy Note II, and my talk to text icon has disappeared. I had this issue once before on an HTC One X, and it turned out to be a bloatware app that I had disabled. But I can't figure it out on this phone. I've tried looking it up on google, and every answer I came across either said to hold the gear icon until the other icons popped up and make sure some box is checked (this option is not on my phone), the typical reboot and reset, or for some reason it gets flipped and I get a lot of results about text to speech. So if anyone has any ideas on how I can fix this without doing a reset, I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.
Oh, and its all stock. I don't have any custom keyboards or anything, running 4.3
