[Q] talk to text icon gone - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

I have a Galaxy Note II, and my talk to text icon has disappeared. I had this issue once before on an HTC One X, and it turned out to be a bloatware app that I had disabled. But I can't figure it out on this phone. I've tried looking it up on google, and every answer I came across either said to hold the gear icon until the other icons popped up and make sure some box is checked (this option is not on my phone), the typical reboot and reset, or for some reason it gets flipped and I get a lot of results about text to speech. So if anyone has any ideas on how I can fix this without doing a reset, I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.
Oh, and its all stock. I don't have any custom keyboards or anything, running 4.3

Can't get the Quick List to stop appearing!

Hey there.. I just installed the Energy ROM after having received this phone as a gift from a friend (with an unknown other ROM installed). I haven't had any problems with it for several weeks until just earlier today when the Quick List has decided to randomly start appearing on my screen. I don't even know how to trigger that screen to appear myself, but I can leave my phone unlocked on my desk and it'll randomly show the Quick List for a little while, then it'll vanish, sometimes extremely quickly. But I can't do anything on the phone anymore since it's constantly appearing and interrupting whatever I'm trying to do.
Like I said, I attempted to install an Energy ROM (Energy.RHODIUM.21916.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Mar.08.7z, according to the file I downloaded from the Energy website) and it just finished no more than 30 minutes ago. As soon as I turned the phone back on from a reboot, that dang Quick List screen appeared.
Does anyone know why it keeps popping up and how I can get it to quit? Or is there some way I can just disable the Quick List altogether (as the options on it aren't really useful anyway..)? Thanks for any help ya'll can provide!
Started having this problem a few weeks ago. Did some hardresets, some task29 and tried different roms. But this quick list keeps appearing outof nowhere. Starts to get frustrating.
It's happening again...
So, for no reason that I could tell, it magically started working again (same rom as listed above) and I never saw the Quick List window again until today.
Today, I was using that same ROM as before, but the Quick List window started appearing. I thought that perhaps it was just something to do with that build, so I upgraded to the English build available at (well, tried giving the link but apparently I haven't posted enough, so never mind). It's at "http : // Energy Roms dot com forward slash www forward slash flavors forward slash sencity.html" for the HTC Touch Pro 2 Cookie (April 8, 2011 version). The ROM installs without a problem (absent the annoying attempts to get the phone to not constantly display the Quick List) but as soon as I power the phone on, the Quick List starts blinking on again.
I searched around as before for a solution and thought I could just disable the setting so that when I hold the end call button, it displays the Quick List, but after 10+ attempts to get to the settings window without the Quick List appearing and interrupting me (then closing itself automatically and displaying the Home screen), I finally got the setting saved and it didn't change anything.
Is it possible to just turn the Quick List feature off? Is there some known reason why it has possessed my phone? Thanks for any help ya'll can give.
Is there still no solution for self appearing Quick List? because I have the same problem :/
EDIT:
I've solved it The front keys flex need to be reconnected to main flex because "endkey" was self pushed what in energy rom is configured to turn on Quick List.

note 3 voice recognition not functioning

I recently used the cleaner to remove the bloat ware from my note 3. Like a nub I didn't think to check the file list and accidentally picked the one that removed all the cool features from the phone.. Most importantly the voice recognition was gone.
So I downloaded a complete app file and put it in the appropriate folder and did a factory reset. Almost everything went back to stock except one thing. My voice activation of the camera, music, and alarm clock no longer works. I am also not getting the notification at the top telling me that I can use said voice functions. Additionally the voice setting is missing in the settings screen. I can still get to it by searching for the settings and it says it's on.. and I can even change it ect.. but still nothing. The only thing I can do is say "hi Galaxy" to wake the phone. S voice still works And I Can Search And Text And All that.
So what am I missing? Is it just a simple ask that I may have overlooked? Any help would be awesome.. or directions to a download of a 100% complete stock app folder would be awesome
nevermind.. found the stock rom

Multiple notifications

I have a moto360 & a samsung S4 I9505.
I'm finding that sometimes notifications get repeated - for example at the moment I have a text message arriving through mysms, and the watch is buzzing and popping it up every couple of minutes, even after I swipe it away. This of course wastes power (screen comes on, vibrates).
Initially I thought it was application specific - I saw it with facebook, messenger, ... but it actually seems to affect most notifications.
The phone has been reinstalled, I've tried different roms (I'm on a customized S4 one currently), and I've reset the watch entirely, but nothing seems to stop this issue occuring.
Is it just me? Things to check?
I'm still struggling with this one... For example today mysms & google inbox were both causing this. Even a full phone reset and watch reset doesn't address. It also occured on my S4 both with a samsung/touchwiz rom AND with cyanogenmod...
Same here, stock S5 lollipop, stock Moto 360. All this started when Android hit 5.1 on Moto 360

Stopping the Red Dot of Doom

Hi,
Just got a G4 and I missed a call today. I cleared it in the drop down menu but the little red dot on the icon was still there. So I went looking for badgeprovider app in all apps to disable it like I did on my S3 and it's not there.
I have been all over the internet trying to find a solution (is it just me or is google pants now). This is really a deal breaker for me and I shouldn't have to clear a notification twice.
I want one of these two solutions:
1. Turn them off entirely. Ideal solution.
2. Is there a dialer app where you can turn them off like I have done with Textra my texting app.
No I'm not rooted and no I don't want a launcher.
Any help much appreciated as ever. Thanks :good:
Called LG they said nope.

Text messages / notifications not coming through

Hi!
First of all, I'm new to this phone - I owned it for about 2 weeks. and I'm very happy with it. Nonetheless I have noticed an issue that I hope someone can help me out with:
Since the phone doesn't have the notification LED, I have tried out a couple of apps to facilitate this function. I ended up uninstalling them. Now I experience that some notifications are not coming through (so far I've noticed text messages). I'm trying to figure out whether this is an issue with the phone, or if it might have something to do with the notification apps that I tested? I configured the apps and settings/permissions as necessary to get them to work, but I never reset those same settings before I uninstalled.
The issue I am facing is e.g. if a text message is sent to my phone (with display not on), the text and/or notification randomly doesn't get through until I wake the phone. After waking it, the message comes through immediately. Could this have something to do with testing those notification apps? If so, is there any way to find the specific settings and reset them or am I facing a factory reset to get it to work properly again?
Any help or hint is appreciated
