my phone was always 27 º c - 30 º c and use Greenify keep suspended my phone app
4 days ago and began installing the rom [ROM] lONElyX 1.0.1 | SENSE 5 | JellyBean 4.2.2 | 4.18.401.3 , problems with temperature while the second day I get to 57 º c crazy no?, I decided to delete the rom and return to the rom I had before
by strange reasonproblems with temperature whil but this time my phone was not or rather did not reach 27 ° c, is always kept in the 34th c onwards
I need some help to solve this problem, if not so it may be that the phone is reached to burn because it is not normal for the phone without having high temperatures using estarse

Its normal having CPU or Battery temp between 20-30ºc
try flashing a custom kernel that enables GPU scaling.

which would you recommend me? one that has good battery life and not much hot
settings that you recommend?
Xm, or faux
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Xm nor faux will work on sense 5 ! They are sense 4 kernels. Only custom kernel atm is Alex V kernel.
Try to reduce frequencies in the trickster mod app (playstore) reduce them to 1300 or even lower. And maybe reducing the cores to 2 helps a bit. Don't know if it enough but worth to try.

I recently flashed "myONEv rc1.1" ony my One V..
All smooth, really nice rom
Although while using Rom toolbox and going to cpu sliders, under "performance"
i noticed the core could now reach 2016mHz when before flashing could only go at 1024 ...
I dont really mind with 2016, it isnt even the current clocking, just the max the phone says it can reach, and battery life seems to be the same as before.
Does this tweak come with the new rom ??
Is it normal ?
That would be the work of Titanium Kernel allowing you to overclock.
I would overclock slowly and test over time. If you set it to 2k it'll probably freeze and stop booting/reset and do other quirky things. Slowly OC and find your point of stability if you're going to overclock at all.

Yes. The ROM includes the TITANIUM kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1607976
But you should set it to a lower frequency if it is not stable at that speed
If it is - you are a lucky one

Well i handnt noticed its set @2016 two days after i flashed the new rom. and its been 24 hours since then. So its 2 days of no problem usage. It works fine with the "maximum" slider so high. Ofcourse the phone is not working at all times @2016..
Thank you for solving my question
as far as I know rc 1.1 doesn't not comes packed with titanium kernel
did u flash it afterwards?

I can only recomend you install a CPU FAN and hardwire it to

Your comparing a DHD to a One X.... It's a quad core device *facepalm*...
So before you give up and call the One X a terrible phone (like the 500 rants this forum has) . We need much more information about your device.
1. Have you unlocked the bootloader?
2. Are you running a custom rom/kernel?
3. What base are you on?
4. How long have you had this phone? And how long have you had this problem?

Have you actually read his post? The one you are quoting?
1. As he has ARHD, yes he has
2. Yes he did ARHD
3. Lets say ARHD just for the fun
4. Irrelevant?
If the screen becomes yellow due to the heat, I would say this is hw problem as he tested different roms. UV might help, but the device should not become like this.
What I would be interested in, if he is not using it in direct sunlight on a beach with 40 degrees in the shadow. Even though I saw ppl say their devices survived that.
I am now in Egypt myself and even at night. With -125 UV. And the device still gets hot, red/green blinking on charge.
BUT I never got yellow spots coming out of the screen. And just cuz of that I would says something is wrong on hw level there.

try faux kernel and undervolt it and underclock it using system tuner or setcpu that will solve all your heat issues
I have exactly the same problem. Whenever i use my One X for navigation in the car (using Navigon) the battery drains more than the Kidigi Car Holder can charge. I already checked all advices that there are like:
- Kidigi Car Holder is charging with AC
- disabled 2 Cores
- UV all frequencies by -125mV
- running the phone in airplane mode
- disabling autobrightness
At the moment i´m running ARHD 9.3.2 with Faux 007m Kernel.
Could someone please help?

If it's happening on 2 roms other ones won't help you.
For sure not customized sense ones.
You could compare sense vs cyanogenmod.
But still, the CPU is kernel controlled.
And remember always when you download a Rom it takes like a day to settle, syncing set ups and etc. So to test a Rom you need few days.
Just stick to a Rom for now. And try the advices we already gave you. Undervolting with lets say faux kernel etc.

Install Hidden settings app from play store and in the newly created Power saver settings in the app drawer, disable "Reduce CPU cores" or something like this,(its the second option on the list, thats for sure )because basically your HOX runs on 1 core with 1 Ghz, but if you turn this power saver setting off, you will have a full 4 core perfomance, as it should be. This has solved me the heating problem a long time ago when i SEARCHED THIS FORUM, which option i gladly reccomend now to you!!!

only once heat up when i force close some apps
but still much better the before :good:
i still want the value that i must change in system tuner
also i notice in system tuner the CPU didn't change at all
waiting for the values
try other roms
Before I face the same problem but after I change the ROM to rd miui, I think the heat still natural for me..
My advice try rd miui for ICS or jelly bean and try cm10 from trip droid ROM with new kernel 3.1.10 for jelly bean.
Now I am still try using trip droid ROM..so far so good about the heat..

I flashed redpill kernel the daybefore and now I feel the battery drain issue has started.. I used my screen for less than 2 hours and 1.5 hours for voice call.. Wifi On all the time... NOW I SEE THAT ANDROID OS HAS TAKEN MOST OF THE BATTERY .. Please check the screenshots and advice me on the same ! My phone is up for almost 17hours now and has 47% battery left...
Then change kernel.
this is XXXDDDAAA
hey bro..i had the same issue with the latest Red Phill kernel ....i thought it was caused by random apps that i installed...so i did a fulll wipe ..with the super wipe script...and formatted and cleared everything on the phone..installed the stock rom 4.1.2 ....SAME BATTERY DRAIN...changed to omega ...same...changed to phoeniX ...same...
so i decided to change the kernel...i tried perseus kernel...and i just can tell you one word : " WOOOOW" !!!
battery is amaizing...get about 10 hours screen on time with internet and screen brightness to 25% .
BTW i undervolt the cpu frequence every step -100mV ....amazing...no lags...no freezes...the GPU same!! undervolt it to -100mV .
i'm over happy with My Note 2 using :
Miui v4 3.2.22 ( Latest v4 rom based on 4.1.1) soo smooth ..smooth like iOS or even more!!
Persues kernel alpha 34 latest!!
i get 20 hours deep sleep 0% battery drain ..( No wifi ...no internet....just 2g network) " btw why should i leave wifi or 3g network when i sleep??? "
try my combination...and you will be more than happy.
HIT THE THANKS BUTTON IF I HELPED YOU!!!!
Wifi definitely.
And don't forget to disable data as it works in background even after wifi is switched on.

thanks for the reply.. but I have a doubt.. you said you changed the freq steps by -100mV .. can you tell me where to find the setting ?? I am using perseus now with stock jellybean 4.1.2 Indian Rom...

Hey bro .. I just noticed that the charging time from 10% to 100 % is taking more than 5 hours on usb.. i checked the current widget and it shows 1700ma.. still taking so much time ?? any idea??
Oki the voltage setting you can see it in the stweaks app...the new one that came with your pwrseus kernel....at the first start...grant it root rights...then scroll down...and you will see for every cpu step ..you will have voltage values.so if you want i can upload a screen shot...that might be the most undervolt able values that are stable
Here are both cpu and gpu voltage values...the cpu speed 200-1600 stock...gpu the same..160-533
And i added a screen shot of the battery usage
I will upload screen shot friday..cuz im busy right now my friend

I dont think so..second...why would you charge over usb? I think your laptop or pc dont have this abilitiy .... dobt waste your time increasing the charge speed over usb...stay close to stock..it is the safest option.

Thanks mate ...
And I surely increased the charging current via USB to 1700mAh... You are saying it is useless ?? Then why did that option got into the kernel setting ???... the stock current that comes is around 450mAh via usb.. I did it coz I dont like to use the charger coz it does not have a socket where I can keep my phone for charging (cable too small ) and I know that the charger is rated 2A.... ie approx 1700mAh current comes through the outlet.... Am I wrong ??? The same thing I did by tweaking the settings via Stweaks ie to 1700mAh which is the max value supported by the kernel....
Please upload your screenshot.. it will be a great help
it works ..but your laptop usb port does not support it...but try it on a 3.0 port...or charge it on the wall. hehe!!!!
the option works 100%...but you have to have an electric source to support that output bro.

Hi everyone, i am new in this so i would like to ask some question if someone can help. I am with Samsung Galaxy Nexus(maguro) unlocked and rooted. I flashed the latest Dirty Unicorns Rom and using it for allmost a month and when i start some app wich is more power consumptioning and use much RAM then other (like navigation, or 3d game) my phone stuck and the only way to fix it is battery remove, after wich the battery is 30-40 % lower. Can anyone help me from what could be the problem? Thanx
Seems to be too low voltages. Download trickstermod an up the voltages of the mpu.

Thanx man, i will try it. I've tried with different kernels and all the same, i've tried clean, dirty flash, several clean flashes and the same, and I din't want giving up because I like the features in this Rom very much....but if you can suggest me other fine Rom I would be greatfull
And another question how to change the MPU voltage in this program and how mv should I put ?

If you are a gamer than it wont provide you much of battery life but for normal use try this out using No-Frills CPU...
1) Set Max Clock:-1.094 GHz
2) Min Clock:-384MHz
3)Governor:-ondemand
4)1/0 Scheduler:- noop
5)Check apply on boot
6)In Settings:- Check Prevent Changes from other apps.
And your device should get a better battery life.
already did that...bt min frq is 300mhz...does it have any effect?
