Any Solutions...plzzz help

If you are a gamer than it wont provide you much of battery life but for normal use try this out using No-Frills CPU...
1) Set Max Clock:-1.094 GHz
2) Min Clock:-384MHz
3)Governor:-ondemand
4)1/0 Scheduler:- noop
5)Check apply on boot
6)In Settings:- Check Prevent Changes from other apps.
And your device should get a better battery life.

already did that...bt min frq is 300mhz...does it have any effect?

Yes using Custom roms But yet we need to wait for developers to develop those custom rom with this kernel.

set CPU on stock kernel wfs

hello folks i've the latest update of euro stock 2.26 rooted..!
i'm using set cpu + disable perflock on stock wildfire s ..!
can i improve battery by using it or set cpu consumes battery on stock kernel..!
by using set cpu on stock kernel does it really improve battery life.?
plz.z.z. i'm in need of ts info as i'm facing serious battery drain
I don't think you can overclock a stock kernel ..
And overclocking will never improve battery life ..

dude i'm not overclocking ..!
i'm trying to underclock it to save some battery as i've very less backup..
Ah, well you'll need a custom kernel that supports oc'ing anyway.

You should be able to underclock on a stock kernel just not overclock.
Thats if i remember correctly, its been a long time since stock

wrong. setcpu only works on custom kernel
you can underclocking using setcpu on stock rom to improve battery. but there are many way to improve battery, disable autosync, remove apps unused, LMK setting, sysctl config, governor and blablabla....
Keep in mind that this way (underclocking) make performance decrease.

[Q] {ROM} - JB CM10 FXP144 -> Battery drain

Hi guys, I have a problem with battery drain, I using fxp 144 and Kernel inside ROM... My problem lies in the fact that I using the battery fully (for example: I playing some games for 15 minutes and I lost obout 10% battery) ...Otherwise the battery drain overnight is about 8 hours and I lost 5% battery
Can you help me please with my problem?
Excuse me please, because my English is awful
That's not a problem, that's normal.
Or could you recomend me a better ROM for playing games or some kernel??? I'm very desperate with battery drain when I play games

I got better experience for these combinations.
In normal mode -> Interactive/X + SIO/Noop (for better battery)
while playing games -> onDemand + Deadline.
Just flash the new fusion 3.6. if you are on aokp jb 5 it's pretty good just don't forget to flash the wifi modules.

How to set the min GPU frequency ?

Hi,
i did undervolt for the CPU and the GPU, but i have a question, on Stweak, we can put the mini frequency of the GPU at 54mhz or 108mhz.
On stock, it is set on 160mhz, anyone tried to set to 108mhz or 54mhz in order increase the battery life ?
54mhz = 825mv (stock)
108mhz = 850mv
160mhz = 938mv (stock) and mine is 875mv
Should i try min at 108mhz and undervolt at 800mv ?
Thanks
I actually don't think there will be problems since the kernel is providing it..
I guess you should try them without setting on boot.. If you had no issues then you may set it on boot.. That's the easiest way to know weather it's good or bad

Hi, i turned back to 160mhz because i got some bootloops, i was affraid of SDS.
But indeed i could remember that i got a better battery life but not impressive... You can see this when screen is on, but i got some wakelock due to low frequency i think.
So battery drained faster in deep sleep while not when screen on.
You should try but be careful, you should put a file .zip which can be flashed in recovery mode to reset settings on the kernel, because if you want to put 54mhz you have to click on "enable on boot" on the kernel settings.
sorry for my bad english

You better have to install greenify and uninstall facebook which give me lot of wakelock which drained my battery.
Now i always have 6/7h screen on time with 2days of standby which is really awesome since i use 3g more than wifi.

Grand rebooting frequently

My Grand is rebooting frequently after installing carbon rom and nebula kernel
When I run any game, It starts to reboot. This happens even , when the screen is off.
That's why I reverted back to cm11

It's not because of ROM man.... It's kernel who giving random reboots.. U really should read at least few pages of it before flashing brother ... It's under development... Hope we get a stable kernel (nebula kernel ) soon.....
Till then.. Just use pre included one in ROM
Hope i helped

Nebula kernel is really unstable, I suggest you not flash it if you're planning to use it as a daily driver. Carbon/CM11 default kernel is already snappy, but if you want more governor/IO scheduler/overclocking more than 1.3 GHz then try k2wl's evolution kernel.
It still doesn't have KSM (kernel samepage merging) which is supposed to lower the RAM usage, but I think all AOSP-based ROMs are already very low on RAM usage.

Well holidays are already over, so I guess he's now busy with work/school/college. Devs are just regular guys...
The KSM feature isn't that much of a different anyway... What I'm hoping to see in next version is more frequency steps... as of now it is 312-600-800-1200-more but it should be better if like this: 100-200-312-400-500-600-700-800-900-1000-1100-1200... Hahaha maybe I'm asking a bit too much.

Why would anyone want to drop as low as 100 Mhz if 312 is good and battery saving??

Yes I think it will... because there are some apps that sync in the background (such as Google apps) even when the device is asleep. With the current frequency steps it is either Deep Sleep (no CPU activity at all) or 312 MHz... and I think 312 MHz is still too high for only background app syncing while asleep... just my 2 cents. :silly:
But I imagine people who use conservative governor will have a hard time using 100 MHz as the minimum frequency... because the governor scales the freq so slow, the phone will lag a lot longer when waking up :silly:

[GUIDE] [ROOT] ExtremE Battery Life, ie Ultra power saving mode!

GUIDE TO EXTEND YOUR BATTERY LIFE UP TO THE LIMIT
20% Enough For A Day!It is one of the best option if you left home with less juice, and are going to be in a trouble!
Yesterday, when I was on a trip with my friends, I forgot to charge my battery, and guess what: just 17% of juice left on my device at early 6 AM! So, I used this simple method, which I am going to explain down there, then while returning home at 9:30, 6% of juice was available!
The thins that I did was, listened to music for more than 10 hours (via earphones), Took photos for more than 15 mins (altogether), Surfed 3G for about 7-10 mins (on way back to home! ), and some phone calls!

Ondemand governer takes phone to deep sleep while screen turned off, and required CPU value, when needed!

well for your kind information all the governers (if have custom kernel) take phone to deepsleep while screen off. And as per your thread title i don`t think the guide is that effective becoz this governer thingy is known by almost every one here. Not trying to flame but just wanted to say that don`t open new threads for such known things.
stock kernel have 2 governor
bcm21553 and performance
this trik can be apply when we use custom kernel
i know about this long time ago
