Tks bro but I already did that too.ok let me explain what's going on.I go to Google play store then settings> click do not auto-update then I exit out.after that notification pops up saying update needs approval hangouts(replaces talk) ok so then I just swipe notification away after that I go back to play store click it> application not found> I click it again darkhorse is gone and Google play loads up fine..hope this makes sense

Can you be more specific what you are trying to do? That's how you stop Google play from updating.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk

It is done through Google Play Services now, there is no way to stop Play Store from updating... Short of removing Google Play Services, but that wouldn't be good.

What rom + theme are you using? It could be one thing or the other...
You might want to consider re flashing to see if that's gets rid of the problem.
I'm running Darkside Warfare 2.5.1. I tried downloading the same app as you and my Google Player works fine.
See ss attached..

Yea already reflashed but issue still shows up. Seems to be random because sometimes they download fine. I tried my other Google account. And it downloaded fine so not sure wtf the issue is.

Did you figure out a fix? I'm getting the same error message. I'm on Jugs now, but also got it on darkside.

did you guys try clearing the data from the play store? settings...applications.....all....play store, clear data? you'll have to sign in again but usually this clears up these kinds of issues
on a side note, always liked my market transparent. if you guys are interested, here's a link to a flashable zip for one:[THEME]UPDATED 4/9 Transparent Google Play Shop 3.5.16
same here
Error processing purchase.
Did uninstall of updates, then open play store again, good to go after that.

Even if you do get a hold of the apk, since its US only, I'm going to assume that the cloud feature isn't going to work, even people with VPN had issues.

I got it to work, I had to sign into Google music using the PC music manager using a proxxy. Made the site think I was in USA and I live in the UK.

how to disable talk back

Anytime I am online using the default browser or dolphin HD it continues to speak areas that I zoom in on but I am only trying to read it myself. How do I get rid of this annoying feature? I check under accessibility and talk back is turned off. I'm using perfect android JB 4.1.1.

If u have titanium back up u can freeze that app or download system app remover from play store then uninstall talk back.apk

If you're not rooted, you can disable the app in System > Apps

Thank you x 1,000.
UPDATE: This app is now called "Google text-to-speech engine"
UPDATE: On Samsung there is also "Samsung TTS"
Background: Tried turning off Talkback in accessibility, turning off driver mode, uninstalling LightFlow. Nothing. This baby got turned permanently on. What a royal pain in the a$s.
OMG Thank you so much... This clue helped me finally get her off. But it is some kind of bug. I shouldn't have to permanently disable a system app just to stop her from talking whenever I use a browser . It took forever to figure out how to shut this thing off. This was like use a bomb to kill a spider, but whatever.

Talk Back
OK so I turned the talk back on thinking it was something else, now I can't even get into my settings to turn it off...this thing keeps talking to me and its driving me crazy, how do I turn it off if I can't get to the settings?

Have you updated it in the play store?
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
I had those issues until I updated it. Go to the play store>my apps and find Google search. You have to have to update it manually.

Well I tried updating and it said package was incorrectly signed so I removed quick search box apk from /system/app and installed from the market.. Now I get an incompatible error..(error symbol in the status bar)

Did you reboot after removing the app out of the system/app folder? Have to ask.
Had this on my ACER tablet and this fix worked:
Go to Settings>
Language And Input>
Voice Search>
And UNCHECK hotword detection.
That being said, this box is checked on my SGSIII and google voice is working fine.
Didn't work
Uploaded a log here

Very handy, hopes Google finishes in a future 4.3 update and put it on app management screen.
It's handy, AOKP had it in the settings.

yes, and you can try "App Ops Launcher" on play store to launch the "App ops" on android 4.3, it is just only 7kb.
It's a good start but I would like to see more granularity in the permissions. For example, for some apps I would love to be able to block GPS while still allowing coarse location gathering.
Very Interesting, but 4.3 still has room to improve in terms of stability. But I am sure that it's definitely better than 4.2
