Even if you do get a hold of the apk, since its US only, I'm going to assume that the cloud feature isn't going to work, even people with VPN had issues.

I got it to work, I had to sign into Google music using the PC music manager using a proxxy. Made the site think I was in USA and I live in the UK.

I hadn't heard of Samsung free apps before, but engadget ( http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/21/samsungs-in-a-gifting-mood-is-giving-away-up-to-16-free-games/) just listed a method for getting free apps from Samsung. Apparently you instal an apk and tell the store you're in Europe. Unfortunately the apk is only for the 9100 ie ATT.
EDIT: Just use the apk ysuleman posted below, it works and is easy.
Or you could pull it from the telus roms, they come with a version for our phone.
is there any new word on this? i know our gs2 is only 1 of 5 vairents but it still falls under a gs2.
The Samsung apps works on both of Mr. x's ROM's. I had trouble trying to pull it from there and use them It on other ROM's.

Works on stock rooted
Android market doesn't even show that there is myAT&T app .. and market through web browser says app is not compatible with GN.
Anybody having the same issue or is it just my GN? I am on 4.0.1 stock.
Yep same issue too I was trying to find it the other day it doesn't show up in my market searches either.

Same here, I think it's because they don't like people using non-AT&T phones so they block any of their programs.

It worked on my N1. How do I extract the apk? (I'm rooted).
I'll post it here for your guys..
so I extracted the apk and installed it in my GN...
It doesn't work - you can log in, but as soon as you try to do something, a blank dialog opens. When you click ok, it brings you back to the login screen...

Cuz the app is not compatible with Android 4.0 yet.

Its nothing to do with att blocking, it is not compatible with ICS yet and lots of apps like HBO also don't show up on market.
I believe we should start seeing more ICS compatible apps in the coming months.

I'm on "stock" 4.0.4 and, of course, Verizon has Wallet blocked from the market. GetJar has the old version. Does anyone have the apk for the newest version?
Go to market.android.com on your phone's browser. It will try to redirect you to the market app, but continue in the browser. Search for Google wallet and go to the page in your browser. Then click install. It will ask you to login with your Google account. After you do that, click back in the browser. It will ask you again if you want to use the market app. This time, choose the app and then you can install Google wallet directly from the market.

Works fine. Well, it no longer asks me to update. I'd imagine an apk is an apk. Shouldn't make a difference.
Once you use the market trick to download Wallet it will automatically update. At least it does for me.

Redbox instant blocking rooted phones
Sent from Pluto.
Can someone if they have it please post the Redbox instant APK.
We all know it's in the google play store but it doesn't show up for some of us. You can get it to work on rooted devices by toggeling your root on and off in superuser.
Just in case ppl are not aware of that!!!

Very handy, hopes Google finishes in a future 4.3 update and put it on app management screen.
It's handy, AOKP had it in the settings.

yes, and you can try "App Ops Launcher" on play store to launch the "App ops" on android 4.3, it is just only 7kb.
It's a good start but I would like to see more granularity in the permissions. For example, for some apps I would love to be able to block GPS while still allowing coarse location gathering.
Very Interesting, but 4.3 still has room to improve in terms of stability. But I am sure that it's definitely better than 4.2
