HI,
Is there any OC experience done so far on One X ?

Nothing realised yet it's to soon we don't have the kernel source yet from HTC

Thxx a lot, i wonder till what limits you can push that beast

i don't think this thing can be OCed with the current heat envelope
AP33 should achieve up to 1.7ghz but it seems with the battery+slimness+ImageSense chip, not enough room to get rid of the heat
if anything we might UC to counter the heat lol
Anyone with root tried SetCPU yet?
sigh i would give anything for a T3 on 28nm

There's no kernel with overclock capabilities yet, so no.

I been able to OC using tegrak without any kind of custom kernel on the ics leaks for the Epic Touch.
Give it a shot.

SetCPU doesnt seem to work and the phone kept crashing when I used it. Same with CPU master.

Why would you want to overclock with the device as it is at present?
You might get an hour out of the battery with a back wind before the processor burns up completely.
WOW
We get a beast like this and still it`s not enough for some..
What are u doing to unleash this power if i might ask?......
just for a score in a Benchmark?
try CF BENCH pure cpu measurement....
see the power.....

I wouldn't OC it, because it gets WAY too hot right now - at stock - anyway.
I have one question. Now I'm using GioPRO v1.6. I'm thinking about flashing cyanogen 7.2 nightly. But things I worry about are: If cyanogen will have good google sync and battery performance?
Is there anyone who tried them both?
Can you tell me advantages and disadvantages of theses ROMs?
For GioPRO is not problem to be alive 2 days (with average uses).
Can't say anything about GioPRO, but yesterday I flashed the CM7.2 Nightly. My phone discharged over a night, but I suppose it was because of 3G online over WiFi hotspot tethered all the time. Although nobody was using hotspot... Before I had CM7.2 with KANG kernel, and it was working perfectly. I just have to admit I didn't try to leave then the phone (Kang kernel) with all these networks on for a night Today I'll try to leave the phone with all networks (except GSM) turned off and watch battery percentage after that
They are both great, but i choosed for cm 7.2 by phiexz, because it didn't look like the origional gio rom and the theme chooser app is magnificent!

What about battery life? Now with GioPRO it can be alive for 2 days. (average uses).

I can live the same with cyanogen. 2-3 days with average use.

GioPro usually lasts longer to me than CM7, but I like CM7 more
For me battery last very long, longer than giopro

Thanks a lot guys
Youre welcome, any questions further about cyanogen, you can ask them here, or write me at pm

I have strange problem. I've recently rooted my HOX, but I wanted to stay on stock rom with stock kernel (as long as I don't get bored ). I've istalled SetCPU to underclock processor - frequency about 1 GHz is prefect balance between performance and power saving for me. But when I set clock to 1000 MHz max, it continuously setting itself to 1500 MHz, despite the slider is still set to 1000 MHz. I attached screenshot for clarity.
Thanks in advance for help!
You can't oc/uc on stock kernel, you will need to swap to a custom kernel

I know, that I can't oc stock kernel, but on other phones I was able to uc. Are you 100% sure?

I asked the same question about a month ago as my settings weren't sticking and every reply was the same, you need a custom kernel to oc and uc

don't think so... maybe because the rom was based on a custom kernel cause you can't oc/uc a custom kernel as bogfather said

Hi guys!
What's the FASTEST HTC One X custom rom right now?
I know, that probably you would say that depends, they are all different, everyone has its pros and cons.. but i think that there must be a rom out there that stands out in terms of smoothness when doing the most basic activities (sending texts, browsing internet or even just scrolling the menu..)
I hate to say it, but when it comes to overall smoothness of the system, iphones are still the state of art.
I don't care whether it's a Sense, Non-Sense, miui or whatever...
can you suggest me a rom that's fast and smooth across all basic activities?
Thank you, guys!
I love viperX with faux kernel. So smooth.
Ir you want fastest may try kernel oc . It's better performances
Enviado desde mi ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T usando Tapatalk 2
I'd say try ordroidx. 8.3.0
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I would highly recommended trying slimbean. It's smooth as silk.
Another vote here for Ordroid
stock rom is the best
Cyanogenmod 7

Icj for aosp, maximus for ics, ordroid for jb
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
well since you brought it out yourself I will once again remind you that it really depends how you want to use it. I use ARHD.
All of them
The fastest out of the box and in terms of stability is probably AOSP from all I've read TBH. Though it will differ for each user depending on his/her use case. Also different combinations of ROM and kernel can affect speed.

Almost 100% correct. InsertCoin for ICS.
I've tried most of them and in terms of speed and battery life, Ordroid is the best one forme.

latest CM10 + ncx_v13_aosp + 4.2 gapps. awesomeness!
VIper X + ncx kernel + undervolting = Obscene battery life and performance
ARHD 9.7.2 + Faux12b,wonderful for my T-Mobile One X,at the moment
I bet most respondents here are just stating the rom they use and haven't actually compared against the rest. Many are loyal to a particular dev and rarely try others.
Just try them all bud and be your own judge.

One more for ViperX with Faux 12b1 kernel of course.

I would have to disagree.
My best friend has stock One X and while installing applications and configuring settings for him I noticed it is slower and it has graphic lag, not to mention it is crippled without all custom tweaks.
Need a serious suggestion about the best rom in term of Battery life.
I've tried various roms such as minicm9, cm7.2, kwbr, Normal cm9, ligux cm9 and parandroid but still can't figure out which has less battery drainage.
I really like ligux coz its smooth and fast but it's battery doesn't even lasts a day. What should i do ?
Or any script which can help?

Kwbr rom or rem puzzle rom.

With my personal experience I would suggest LewaOs.but at the end of the day all depends on your usage!
Is that a Rom or Script?

I use Ligux and also experience battery problems... i've heard about Mokee , rem puzzle and Lewao but haven't tried that yet.
Have u tried stable cm7.2 ? Its battery life is better.
YNWA
Doesnt the battery life depend upon the kernel? I mean there is no need to flash a new rom you can just flash a new kernel
Whoa !!
Never heard of this before. I've never flashed a new kernel really. Infact i don't even overclock my phone.
