What's the FASTEST custom rom right now? - HTC One X

Hi guys!
What's the FASTEST HTC One X custom rom right now?
I know, that probably you would say that depends, they are all different, everyone has its pros and cons.. but i think that there must be a rom out there that stands out in terms of smoothness when doing the most basic activities (sending texts, browsing internet or even just scrolling the menu..)
I hate to say it, but when it comes to overall smoothness of the system, iphones are still the state of art.
I don't care whether it's a Sense, Non-Sense, miui or whatever...
can you suggest me a rom that's fast and smooth across all basic activities?
Thank you, guys!

I love viperX with faux kernel. So smooth.

Ir you want fastest may try kernel oc . It's better performances

I'd say try ordroidx. 8.3.0

I would highly recommended trying slimbean. It's smooth as silk.

Another vote here for Ordroid

stock rom is the best

Cyanogenmod 7

I can suggest one from my signature  so close to stock... Fast and smoth... Most popular ----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562603

Icj for aosp, maximus for ics, ordroid for jb
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app

well since you brought it out yourself I will once again remind you that it really depends how you want to use it. I use ARHD.

All of them

The fastest out of the box and in terms of stability is probably AOSP from all I've read TBH. Though it will differ for each user depending on his/her use case. Also different combinations of ROM and kernel can affect speed.

Almost 100% correct. InsertCoin for ICS.

I've tried most of them and in terms of speed and battery life, Ordroid is the best one forme.

latest CM10 + ncx_v13_aosp + 4.2 gapps. awesomeness!

VIper X + ncx kernel + undervolting = Obscene battery life and performance

ARHD 9.7.2 + Faux12b,wonderful for my T-Mobile One X,at the moment

I bet most respondents here are just stating the rom they use and haven't actually compared against the rest. Many are loyal to a particular dev and rarely try others.
Just try them all bud and be your own judge.

One more for ViperX with Faux 12b1 kernel of course.

I would have to disagree.
My best friend has stock One X and while installing applications and configuring settings for him I noticed it is slower and it has graphic lag, not to mention it is crippled without all custom tweaks.

best rom for one x?

hello can someone tell me what is the best rom for one x? thanks
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Try them out, and make your choice.
This depends in you. There is no "best" Rom.
If you like the sense UI you can use "Revolution HD" mod (no visual changes). The "leedroid mod" and the "chameleon rom" are tweaked with slight changes but based on sense.
For me i'm a fan of cyanogen. I'm using Domination mod and i'm happy with it.
But not all features are working.
Maybe u can use MIUI this is no sense mod. For me it was too colorful and has less configuration options then cyanogen.
Hope I could help.
Cheers

There is no best rom try them and find what you like. Thread will be closed by mod
i been trying couple of them insertcoin.sux, i tried slim.ics it has wifi and camera problem i use this chamelon now but it drains my battery and the users that use it wont admit it so stock rom is the best for now i am going to revert it back

Leedroid with sense or without is the best IMO. Leedroid 6.4 with stock kernel is the best on battery so far that i've tested. It was my daily driver, I decided to try out maximus because of the new HTC Base leak and radio.
But yea, I've tried almost all of them and I think Leedroid 6.4 is one of best for performance and the best battery life.
Maximus is looking good with the new base though. Tomorrow will have a full day usage on full charge.

what rom is best for customizing?

what rom is best for customizing? on my old phone (wildfire) i had cm7 which had amazing performance and levels of customization but i dont want to loose the stock camera on the hox, It might not be possible but any advice is welcome.
Ive already tried venom which i found rather buggy with lots of random reboots and overheating and im currently on android revolution hd which is fast and stable but not custom enough for me.
You can try parandroid its an hybdrid rom and has stock camera.

Best rom between these 2 in this post

I wanted to try a rom based on Jellybean and I want to know which rom between these 2 is the better.

2)http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1784185
Thanks!
I've tried all the jellybean roms available for the one x, and in my opinion its neither of the two you posted.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786696
This one is stable, fast and has pretty decent battery life.
But this has so many bugs!

+1 for tbalden's CM10 preview 10. It feels like a ROM that's not in development, like it's complete. It's very stable, very fast and has great battery life. You can try it and if you don't like it (but I'm sure you will), flash a different ROM.

Most stable ROM for HOX?

Which one is it in your opinion?

HTC One MaXimus. Nuff Said.
just got the one x two days ago and arhd has been running very well for me
Personally, I would say ARHD.

Which non-stock* Rom is the most stable???(including battery)
Android Revolution but also Maximus is also a great contender as I am currently using it
I highly recommend these roms especially if you want Apex or nova launch and use Rom Cleaner, works a treat and then gives even better battery
Personal Favorite:
Android Revolution HD with Extended Quick Settings and then Nova Launcher from rom cleaner
Viper rom works for me, no strange issues ... never had the urge to try another rom.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Which ever is stable for you, try and test them and gain experience from them.
All current sense based roms work well. Non sense based such as CMX etc work but not as good as a sense based rom due to closed drivers and such.

i like rd-miui

Recommended ROM for HOX

Hey, guys! At first, I want to say that I am Xperia arc S developer and getting HOX tomorrow. Of course I won't use stock, so I'm asking you about good ROM which is worth recommendation. I was thinking about Android Revolution HD. It has Sense, I like Sense :3 Is CM10 good? Or maybe AOKP JB? I like AOKP more than CM, but please... Give me some suggestions. I want my ROM to be awesomely fast and light. And, I think stock based - Sense camera gives amazing quality, AOSP one kills it.
Viperx :good:
ARHD

I liked the Rennovate Rom a lot when i was on ICS. Sense and very fast, very clean, very stable. Maybe the colors where a bit too blue, but i was the fastest ICS Sense rom i've tried.

another vote for ARHD : a smooth, fast Rom. close to stock sense, but with some nice tweaks.

Hy I am using CM10 and it is fast and smooth but battery destroyer, I have battery case so battery terms it is bad but if you want the pure android experience it is a ROM for you. ARHD is on my list to try but I know that LeeDroid is a nice ROM for ours dear HOX. Play with them, I did and it is getting addictive. Give me a thanks if it helped Sorry for my bad English
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Unfortunately LeeDroid is very outdated as Lee is taking a break with his busy life Jan487 is also leaving XDA to focus more on IRL, but his teammates should be continuing development on ViperX.
I really like Sense so mike1986 ARHD is my primary choice. Since Mike decided to go to the latest leaked ROM on Jelly Bean which is not for all the CIDs, I moved to Lextermina AbsterGo™ and I love this ROM
ARHD 11 is a way to go. All in the mix - JB, sense UI, some tweaks. Real fast and smooth.
Sent from my HTC One X using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
OrDroidX is the way... However as you can see... These questions are very useless cause everyone post an idea that is different to the others... So the best way you can see which is the best rom is to try them all...

Exactly. I also have not suitable CID so we both have to wait for official JB with hboot update. I will try Lextermina later. Now I am on Renovate and it is great.
Btw I THANKED for all answers
