[SOLVED] Best Rom in terms of battery life? - Wildfire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Need a serious suggestion about the best rom in term of Battery life.
I've tried various roms such as minicm9, cm7.2, kwbr, Normal cm9, ligux cm9 and parandroid but still can't figure out which has less battery drainage.
I really like ligux coz its smooth and fast but it's battery doesn't even lasts a day. What should i do ?
Or any script which can help?

Mooke, lewa, rem puzzle or just stock rooted. You also can set governor to powersave but ur phone will get laggy then. You can't have everyrhing.);

I use Ligux and also experience battery problems... i've heard about Mokee , rem puzzle and Lewao but haven't tried that yet.
Have u tried stable cm7.2 ? Its battery life is better.

Doesnt the battery life depend upon the kernel? I mean there is no need to flash a new rom you can just flash a new kernel

Whoa !!
Never heard of this before. I've never flashed a new kernel really. Infact i don't even overclock my phone.

HTC Pico has a 1307 overclockable kernel so can't we have a kernel of that size
Spare me I'd this is a stupid question
Sent from my Wildfire S A510e using Tapatalk 2
We can have a kernel to go to that speeds but it do nothing but fry your processor...........or at the very least reduce its life
Also you battery will run out in like 3 hours

Naaah, if someone managed to make a stable enough kernel for that frequency, our cpu'd probably melt ^^

"You can overclock as much as you want, your phone will always seem too slow."
It doesn't work. I've tried it. Whole phone just locks down once you go past 864mhz.

Its because the HTC pico is armv7

You can if you want to fry our little pretty phone. -_-
BTW I got HTC explorer too. Believe me I don't like it a bit. Except for temple run I hardly use that phone. I didn't even root it lol.
I also have HTC explorer

Random restarts

Hey all,
My Wildfire is a year and a half old.
About a half a year ago,I overclocked it.
Since then,It started restarting randomly,2-3 times a day.
Formatting the SD-Card didn't help, and flashing latest CM7.2 did not help.
Is it a hardware issue, and a time to move on to something more powerful?(like the Sony Xperia Sola)
Is there any app that can monitor these restarts?
Thanks in advance,
Yohai.
for all roms which u had y have restarts?

Yep.
I had the Galaxy Nexus rom, which is based on CM7.2 RC1,also had CM7.0.3,and now CM7.2.
It's because of the bloody OC.
Even though I cancelled it,the problem persists.
I think it's a hardware problem.
What do you think?
Try to flash sense based rom like rem rom, if it won't work then try to flash ruu, and give willy for proffesionalists

As drewniany92 has said try make a back up and then flash a sense rom and see if it helps, but by over clocking the CPU you may have damaged it to be honest. How high did you have it? And how low have you clocked it since the reboots?
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda premium
he cannot damage cpu because all of the kernels have now lock to 768 or max 788 like nfinity. to dagage cpu hou have to overclock on minimum 840 i think :3

depends on how old his old rom was. if it was old enough then it coulld easily oc over that.

best miui rom

i tried miui v4 but its battery life is not good so which miui rom u recomend
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using xda app-developers app
Henry's one. I used his old one (the one build before current). It had no issues and worked great.
You Mean Cm 7.2 based
Sent from my Wildfire S A510e using xda app-developers app
I think MIUI v4 is the best, and the battery life is not so bad (MIUI roms' battery life is always a bit worse than other roms').
I tried the SnapSeries one too, and the battery life was very bad there, it just drained my battery (my phone almost discharged during the night from 100% battery, and I had no wifi or anything turned ot). But probably it's been fixed already, and then it's worth a try.
And although it's just a beta, you should also try the JB based MIUI 2.10...

I really didn't have battery issues with any miui build. I prefer snap series but only because in Henry's the status bar says "roaming indicator on"

Battery Life in Jellybean

Anyone care to share?
Running slimbean, and getting horrible life compared to ICS and jellybean (no deep sleep?)
Sent from my Xperia Play using xda premium
I've tried KXP and P.A.C.Man. Both really awesome ROMs, but same as you, battery life just isn't where I need it to be.
Honestly, the best ROM with balanced battery life and performance for me has been PaxChristos's plain old CM9 ROM with Keiran's Darkforest CM9 kernel.
I use P.A.C man and I need to charge the phone every 48h.

Ehhhh my battery could be a tinsy bit better but I'm happy with the battery life with brightness at 48%

Battery life in jellyzeus with turbokernel is quite good, but maybe is because aosp is the most featureless rom.

I have the same doubt, why should we do that?
Because some ROMs don't "understand" the stats of other ROMs so its just best to clear them after flash

Using SlimBean,
Screen off, sleep (0% user usage) with wifi : 0.4% to 0.7% per hour.
Same stats as GB while using Darkforest, 0.5% to 0.7%/hour. (a year ago)
