Has anyone tried playing with the ipv4 ipv6 home or roaming settings? Idk if any roaming data signals have an ipv6 address or not. Any improved data roaming from accepting ipv6? My sprint service is horrid out here so I roam pretty much at all times.

It may be in my head, but I went ahead and switched setting to ipv4/ipv6 and I feel like I am getting more data coverage.
This says it will make no difference to end user:

Its not the apn settings, and as a matter of fact if I restart my phone the mms send upon reboot however none will send after those initially pending....gosms still can send mms....default and handcent cannot
Do you mean mms sending through wifi or in general through data?

through data. I don't think mms can send through wifi on the Jedi X series
Im using a vzw note 2 UNLOCKED ON 3G/HSPA and had to bypass the apn settings with a DEODOXED ROM and mod zip to add apn cause vzw locks in there apn only on the vzw note 2
Im asking in this forum cause it applys to the tmo note 2 settings.
I have epc.tmobile.com as my APN and
THE DATA WORKS ITS JUST I NEED CORRECT MMS SETTINGS FOR PIC MESSAGES
ANY IDEAS SCREENSHOTS WILL HELP

How did you get 3g/Hspa on a vzw note? I'm thinking about switching to tmobile and it would save me to keep a Verizon note

Verizon doesn't run HSPA. They are not a GSM carrier.

Obviously I'm on Verizon. The OP says he has his Verizon note 2 on t mobile with 3g/HSPA I was wondering how.

I read it wrong.
The Verizon note 2 supports gsm bands for international (an maybe sone day domestic) roaming. Getting the radio/modem to fly however would likely be a challenge.
I am pretty sure it doesn't go the other way. There are a couple of folks who swear that the hardware is totally identical between the US carriers Note2 devices.
I can't say I agree but im not in a position to be absolutely certain.

Thanks, but I know it can be used internationally and in stats on edge only. And I've seen some hacks for HSPA, but as far as I know they aren't working yet.

I havent checked bsck since i posted the thread All of u have it all wrong the Verizon note 2 is pentaband it happens to support tmobiles 3g 1900 band I know im on it daily
Nothing to do with flashing radios
Right out of the box its factory sim unlocked for gsm of your choice
Tmobiles 1900 band actually is everywhere and it is 3g h+ back and forth on the vzw note 2
I just went from vzw iphone 5 to the vzw note and I get 3g 10-14xmg download speeds from both

Dont mean to thread Jack, but something similar. .... my text messaging plan only covers SMS, not mms. Is there a way for me to turn off receiving mms?
I've contacted my carrier and they said it's not possible. I would have to deactivate texting all together. .
I get to the edit page, but can't even edit out.

I'm thinking the best you could do is turn off auto download of MMS there's a setting in the messaging app for that.

Open up message app > go to settings > scroll down to MMS settings and uncheck Auto-retrieve.

So I was just trying to figure out if you ever got your mms up.
I have stock rooted verizon gn2 on tmobile. I installed app global apn to system/app. To get data
I do not have deodexed rom

So I have an unlocked galaxy note 2 vzw on tmibile. I have hspa and 3g data. I installed app global apn. I dont have a deodexed rom. Can you please give me instructions on setting my mms settings so it will work

are there any miracast roms out there so I can use my phone wireless stream my phone screen to TV.
AllShare is not an option my device is rooted and won't work

I am on 4.3. I want to move to 4.4 since I don't need the Samsung features. but tethering doesn't work with using the user agent switcher. the up sell page pops up no matter what. I would use apps like pdanet etc, but they reduce the speed by so much
