[MOD] Transparent Notification Bar CM7

I just found this mod over in the Desire HD forums and it works on our phones to. Its a simple flashable zip that make the notification bar transparent. I take no credit for this at all, all credit goes to gimj01
I have tested it out and it won't work if you have a theme selected in the theme chooser and if you have a flashable theme applied for will just get FC's after you reboot. I would recommend doing a nandroid before flashing.
If your using ADW you need to disable wallpaper hack under system prefrences.

i will try it now!....looks really cool, 1 of my fav from miui..
edit: ok I tried it...it works well but only with the stock cm themes....i downloaded themes from the market and it does not work with them ....looks pretty cool though

Reboot on recovery and flash .zip.

Not bad
In general, it's a clean look. Needs improvement as it display a bit weird when you are looking at the drawer. The notification pull down also looks a bit odd as well since color change, text overlap.

fancy weather pro....there is also a free version (i think)

is it possibly to get one with 100% transparency, meaning you can see nothing but notification icons... would be nice.

Gingervillain is based of a very old version of cm7, and this was put together for use on newer versions. maybe time to update you rom?

(MOD) Extended Quick Settings with 8 Volume option and Flashlight

Hi guys
Starting with EQS from "m1ndh4x8r" i added Flashlight and 8 Volume option. It still has the gps bug.
I tested on Marvelous vers 2 and is working ok so far!
It doesn't have recent apps in notification and a little bug with the flashlight.
Any help, advice or questions will be very appreciated!

SOLVED GPS BUG anf FLASHLIGHT TEXT. Uploaded!
Still no recent apps notification but everything else is working!!!

Recent app enabled! Look for "Repo_EQS_ra.zip"

Final EQS. Added Silent Mode. Everything is fully functional. Also I made some cleaning and now for me at least at this moment there is no bug. Look at: Repo_SM_final.zip

Because now many wants the original files to compile themselves but few say thanks, i upload the files here: SystemUI.zip.

I built a new EQS from scratch. I took a SystemUI from GB 2.3.5_2.13.401.2 ROM and i moded as i like.
Now it shouldn't give error on decompilig or on installing.
Also you can use it with UOT.
I will only work on Sense 2.1 ROMs.
Look for NEW_EQS_vers_1.zip!

As with the other one, it will only work on stock (ish) euro 2.3.5. (or whichever Android version it was made for)

The statusbar crashes on startup

It's probably because some id's don't match your framework-res.apk. Sorry about that. If I'll have the time I will try to compile one from scratch, but is not a promise.

Remove Rosie

Hello,i have a question,might be a dumb one..but here it goes,is there any way that i can uninstall Rosie from a rooted stock ROM and just stick with the original launcher like...Nexus has for example?

Just install the launcher you desire and set it as standard

Ok,i like the one that galaxy Nexus uses,what is that called?

If you find 4.2 gapps it has nexus launcher on i use it as my daily launcher with arhd 13! Also has new gmail camera calendar and clock.
You will need to flash it though and its 150mb

Many, the most popular are NOVA Launcher and APEX Laucher, very customizable too And yes, you can remove rosie.

I am using Go Launcher but i hate the fact that the notification bar cannot be modified,i hate the sense notification bar and i love the way the new bar looks on galaxy nexus.

Sorry for slow reply but I think the only way to get a different notification bar is custom rom are you on jellybean or ics?

i think, not sure , that removing rosie will cause fc's ...

You don't actually remove Rosie launcher just use a different one you can easily swap back by using the app reset preferences!

Hi all, by "Rosie" do you mean Sense? Just grab the ROM CLEANER 3.0 and flash from CWM. Then go thru the simple Aroma affair selecting "No Sense" and select an alternative launcher rom the list. Easy peasy. :laugh: I used this about a month ago been on HoloLauncher HD aiming for as much AOSP as possible. Very very happy with ROMCLEANER even lets u deactivate the Sense Lockscreen! AOSP all the way for me!

Also you can pick any lockscreen or none without root and there's no advantage to remove it IMO it's just asking for trouble you may as well keep it but definatly backup!!!

Cool,i have one question since you've tried the ROM CLEANER.After you used the ROM cleaner,did the Status Bar(Notifications Bar) remained Sense?

Yes actually u r correct the status bar never alters, today I updated to Jellybean (3uk h3g) and after unlocking bootloader and flashing touch recovery and JBsuperSU, I am now running ROMcleaner3.0 NO SENSE again and I would say the sense bar this time was more transparent whereas now it is black. Maybe something to do with Holo Launcher theme.

[Port][11/19/2013] Ignorance_v4 (fixed)

Hey fellow HTC One V Cdma owners. I have ported over a gsm rom from tonyskyfall. This is my first attempt at any rom or port. So any help about bugs you find would be greatly appreciated. This is a europe based rom. So use UK english but has many other languages included. The original thread link is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2400633 and included is the FOTA Sick kernal from -Duir- so this rom is capable for the new hboot and able to be overclocked and runs like lightning. The link for the kernal is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261819. I have 2 versions one with original sense icons and one with sense 5 icons. They both now work perfect no bugs that I have found. Only thing i found on both roms I cant find any way to swith the multitasking button. So its tap for multitasking and hold for menu.So again any help would be much appreciated. Let me know what you think.

I was having trouble with the settings icon tonyskyfall just updated his Rom I'm going to download and see if he got it. I'll port over the new update as soon as I can. Look at his post to see the new updates.

i changed the message bubbles to blue and white to match the theme so as far as I'm concerned the theme is complete make sure you choose Ignorance skin in the personalize app.

It's up now sorry i wanted to change the message bubbles to match the theme. tonyskyfall added tweaks for the status bar if you want to download please visit the op that i posted and go to post #2 download and thank him for the awesome rom.

Since it's just a port from GSM to CDMA by beeree7 I doubt it would be slower.

This is a very nice ROM. The only thing I am missing is overclocking without using a third party app.

It may only work on android 4.4 but I can't say for sure. It works perfect for me. I'm using ARHD 4.4 GPE ROM. Idk why it says that for you.

Here take for 4.3. Put in the system \ app permissions rw-rw-r, reboot.

Why do you insist on calling this the CM11 launcher? This is the Google Edition Launcher. Not some magical discovery.

Never said it was a magical discovery. I insist on calling it the cm11 launcher because its the cm11 launcher. I understand it may be the same as Google edition launcher but I didn't have it before someone directed me towards it. So I assumes others may not have it either, so therefore I shared it. Its not a huge deal.

I don't own a HTC one, i have a One X and was passing by this forum.
This apk is working for me on sense5 4.2.2 rooted ROM and CM JB Based Roms also.
Just Pushed to system/app/ , changed permissions.

i have Beanstalk rom i think it's same launcher built with rom

Its not the same as GE launcher. It has features such as notification transparency and disabling the search bar.

actually im pretty sure in the 4.2.2 update that was included?

This is a more lightweight stripped down GPE launcher that is used by default by CM. I believe it doesn't have the swipe left to open Google Now and the voice prompt to do searches from homescreen etc.
