[MOD] Transparent Notification Bar CM7

I just found this mod over in the Desire HD forums and it works on our phones to. Its a simple flashable zip that make the notification bar transparent. I take no credit for this at all, all credit goes to gimj01
I have tested it out and it won't work if you have a theme selected in the theme chooser and if you have a flashable theme applied for will just get FC's after you reboot. I would recommend doing a nandroid before flashing.
If your using ADW you need to disable wallpaper hack under system prefrences.

i will try it now!....looks really cool, 1 of my fav from miui..
edit: ok I tried it...it works well but only with the stock cm themes....i downloaded themes from the market and it does not work with them ....looks pretty cool though

Reboot on recovery and flash .zip.

Not bad
In general, it's a clean look. Needs improvement as it display a bit weird when you are looking at the drawer. The notification pull down also looks a bit odd as well since color change, text overlap.

fancy weather pro....there is also a free version (i think)

Gingervillain is based of a very old version of cm7, and this was put together for use on newer versions. maybe time to update you rom?

[ROM][05/03/11] Warm-Z-TwoPointTwo-Vision

This rom is based on Froyo 2.2, whenever myn updates it to a gingerbread rom i will also, untill then its only froyo 2.2

Known issue's
When playing videos in high quality from the youtube app they will look odd misplaced colors, changing to normal quality fixes this, for HQ youtube videos download opera Mobile 11 from the market and watch the directly form the website.
There is also a bug when entering the mobile network settings it will fc, so to change bands or anything related to that, try and find a market app that does that, im sure there's plenty.
To set your apns if there missing get this app. im sure the market has more.

Okay so i downloaded, its legit fasted 2.2 sense rom right now on the G2. Everything is working.. but as far as looks go something doesnt feel right. The notification bar icons dont fit. Is it possible to get the original sense notification bar? I dont care much for the gingerbread icons at all with this.

cant help you there, check the rom original thread, theres a bunch of mods and stuff you can flash to the rom.

Hey magic just clarify if I flash the optional download from the original thread it will work on our phones?

If you can't help with that then I'm assuming I cant really expect much of else? Evo is a bigger screen.. so assume those mods and themes fit towards the "Evo" standard.

calm down dude, the reason icons are like that is because thats the way myn whanted it, thats how the theme works. i really cant do anything, because i would be changing how myn looks and thats not my goal here. and im sure myn would not like hes rom being spread with stuff changed. again you are more than welcome to do it your self for your personal use.

it has too, to my knowledge it should work.

Rom works great, really fast for sense...... might stick with this one for a bit, even though its 2.2 .

Had this ROM on my Evo and it was great (one of the better ones). Nice to see it here for the G2.

I've been waiting for WYN to come to the G2 for a longtime. The ROM is FAST for sense and I ran a quadrant without and got 1296 not bad. I will use this as my DD for a while. I also like the customization you can do with this ROM. So far I tired to download several custom items and no luck but still it's a nice ROM.

you cant download them?, or you download them/install then and they dont work? they might incompatible with this myn z version in particular.

Wasnt trying to be a jerk. Ive looked on the evo thread, did not see any kind of original icon/notification bar... this rom is awesome.. like ive said.. and im quite sketchy of flashing anything from the evo unless confirmed it will work.

i know whats wrong you have to change the update script to the new endian format.
some of them need to be, otheer alredy have an updated update script.

is no necessary if u are using stock or any ICS you just have to flash the ROM =]

If this is based on stock Sense, the super sick ICS will NOT work. You will need either jmz's ICS kernel or sick kernel v0.6 from simonsimons, if you want to replace the kernel that comes with it. The super sick ICS kernel will only work on AOSP based ROMs.

can't get wifi to turn on. I restarted the phone few time

If you used jmz's or sick kernel, you'll need to flash the kernel zip file in recovery to install the needed modules to get WiFi working. Aside from that i can't help you.

Everything works fine for me been running since round noon minimum over clock makes everything smooth would like to see the sense settings menu go away but nice ROM man! :thumbup:

Definitely flashing sense is soooo bloated. Cm10 I don't get a strong WiFi strength in my life experience. I only use WiFi so a major deal breaker thanks

Hey man, Love the rom, it's pretty much exactly what I've been waiting for!! Everything going smoothly so far, except I can't seem to get the calendar to sync to my google account and wifi tethering isn't working for me either... tried wifi tether for root users and it said 'started with errors' so, is there something I can do about that or is it broken in the rom? Thanks a ton!!
Edit: I just realized my calendar had synced now

Calander works fine for me actually synced with all three my Google accounts, are u trying to sync with HTC in the sync settings that causes errors with sync

{REQUEST} Universal AOSP Status bar theme

So I have a request that I hope isn't too hard to get working on the different custom roms out there besides trickdroid, but I love the aosp icons and the black status bar look. Is there any way to get a universal theme that can be flashed for ARHD or Insert Coin? Maybe have an option for the smoked transparent notification drawer as well?

cant be universal unless they are using the same sources but i made one a while ago but stopped working on it due to the fact that i have a life

[Q] HTC Droid v.1.8 beta software version info

I've installed @MameTozhio 's HTC Droid v.1.8 beta but the system still says I am on v.1.7.
Is it just a mistyped or have I done something wrong?

I've noticed another small issue on this beautifull rom: I hear no sound when selecting a ringtone (settings>sound>phone ringtone). Everything is ok when someone is calling though. So is it just my phone or is this a known issue?
And thank you @MameTozhio for all your efforts, you are doing really great!

It's something new. Try to use Customization app from older version (1.2)

No it's not something new. I didn't know it didn't work and I can't test it myself right now because I'm fiddling with Baidu Cloud ROM, porting it from HTC G12

Have you decided whether lockscreen will be updated to sense 5 style or you will leave it as well? Just asking because you have mentioned that you are still considering about it on the main thread.
By the way, with all the respect to ckpv5 roms (they are really nice), this one seems much smoother than myOneV. At least I've got that impression. Thanks!
