Good News Working CWM For Ninja
CWM Based Recovery For Micromax A56 And A57 Ninja
I Am Not Responsible For Any Problem
Instructions:
1.Enable USB Debugging by going to Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Development - Enable USB Debugging.
2.Download the CWM Recovery file from Post:-2
3.Make Sure Ninja Drivers Install In Your PC.
4.Tutorial To flash CWM Recovery On Micromax A56 & A57
Using ADB/Fastboot: Follow commands while device is connected with PC in USB Debugging Mode
pen Command Prompt and locate your .android folder that contain the copy of above Recovery Image. (Mine is C:/Android/A57_CWMR.img)
C:\Documents and Settings\ViOLET R>cd c:\android
C:\Android>adb devices List of devices attached Micromax-A56 device
C:\Android>adb reboot-bootloader [Hold Vol- while doing this]
C:\Android>fastboot devices COOLPADA7019 fastboot
C:\Android>fastboot erase recovery erasing 'recovery'... OKAY [ 0.109s] finished. total time: 0.156s
C:\Android>fastboot flash recovery Custom_recovery.img sending 'recovery' (4436 KB)... OKAY [ 0.406s] writing 'recovery'... OKAY [ 0.813s] finished. total time: 1.219s
C:\Android>fastboot reboot rebooting... finished. total time: 0.016s
You are done Now Reboot into Recovery using VOLUME+ and Power Button Operation. Enjoy Method

Yep. Seen exact same in my A56 too.
Have any of u guys you tested the main thing? "Backup and Restore" working perfect?

Hey the backup is not perfectly completed Bcoz u dont have enough space in sd card free up space and perform back again

Hey, Sahil Man I love this key configuration It is hard at first, but when u get used to it, it becomes no trouble at all Infact my power button has become very weak from all the tests I did So this would take some load off the power button Less use = more button life. Don't ever fix it ok?

Hi Guys !
I'm here with a tutorial for Rooting Symphony W50/Micromax A75 !
Which many of you Guys Requested !
OK ! First things First !
I'm Not Responsible For any damage of your phone !
Lets Start -
1.Backup UR data and ROM !
- If you wanna keep all the app you currently have in your phone because all your Contacts , Massages , Apps will be removed during the process
If you wanna make a backup of those APP thn you might try some APPS to make a Backup of those files here are the name -
a) File Expert
b) Android Assistant
2.Rooting Process -
a) Now download the drivers from this link https://sites.google.com/site/ultimatebrainguide/micromax-a75/installing-drivers ( If you have 32bit download the 32bit ver. and if u have the x64bit download the x64-bit ver )
b)Download your preferred driver and Copy and paste it to your desktop and install it !
c) Driver installing Instructions -
The the driver_win_64.exe as administrator or it will fail
When it tell you to press enter - Press Enter
Now type one and press enter then there are 3 options choose your windows and type the number and press enter and you are good to go !
d) Connect the device -
Connect the device and check the Device installs successfully !
e) Now Download this Zip file https://www.dropbox.com/s/3hqk9uymdnlrr53/[Megafileupload]SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v2.1121.01.7z
f) After Downloading Extract it to your Desktop !
g) Now go to Sp_Flash tool folder and run Flash_tool as administrator
h) After the program loads click on the Scatter-loading and there's and scatter file inside the SP_Flash tool folder go to SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v2.1121.01\SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v2.1121.01\Android and select the Scatter file
i)Now tick the recovery and press on it Now find the CWM file that is in the zip file ....
j) Now turn of ur device
k) Now this is important SO Be careful .....
Click the download button on SP_FLASH_TOOL and a timer starts So connect the phone between 12 sec' ( and make sure ur phone is off ) and the process bar will complete and and it will show you a green mark that means it worked !

Now open Your phone while Holding the Power Button + Volume UP and a screen appear As Clockwork-mod 5........
the screen will look like this
Now make sure to make a backup of your current ROM ! Which is easy
in the Clockwork-mod menu use the Volume keys as up and down and and the Option button as OK ! So navigate to the BACKUP AND RESTORE Option ! and select backup as shown below
and here are the button config cause ur screen will not work around here
and how to make the backup
it might take a while !
And after the backup finishes .... and show successful Disconnect the cable and power off the device .....
Now remove the SD card and Connect it to your Computer and Go to SD/Clockworkmod/ and cut the Backup folder and keep it safely on your PC !
Now Download this File http://www.mediafire.com/?hid0ega7lek65u9
Extract it .... And Copy the backup folder to Clockworkmod/ and put the SD in your phone,
Now again start your phone by pressing And Holding The Power Button + The Volume UP key until the Clockworkmod interface comes and now go to the Wipe data/factory setting and select Yes after that do wipe cache partition now go to Backup again and press restore and select the 2012-06-10.08.17.26 and next screen press the YES Option .. wait until it finishes and reboot the device Confused ? See screenshots below !
After Wiping Data and cache partion do this
and now selcet the 2012-06-10.08.17.26
Select yes and wait for it to be done !
Now start up the device and if it boots up fine then Congrats ! ( usually takes more time in the start time start-up )
Now download this file http://downloads.noshufou.netdna-cdn.com/superuser/Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip and copy it to the SD card
Now power off your phone and go to Clockworkmod again and select install zip from SD and again select Install from SD and browse and select the Superuser.zip u have just downloaded and press OK ... again select YES and wait for it to finish and restart your phone and you will find the superuser app in the Application menu !!! here are the screen shots ! -
Install Zip from SD
Press Install Zip from SD again
and Locate the Superuser.zip u just copied to your SD
and wait for it to be finished
and Your are done now turn on your phone and u'll be rooted ! with a fresh rom !

to add screenshot 1st upload that screenshot to any image hosting site like imgur.then copy the bb image code of that specific photo and paste in the middle. it will show image.

Yes !! Its totally the same !! All this Rooting rules Are almost same as A75 ... Even the Rom i've included is Micromax A75's. And i even updated the Karnel which was provided by Micromax officials !

I diden't understand your problem so well .....
Anyway here is the Recovery.img
The Problem is that when i flashed my phone with your recovery it now wont boot to recovery... just hang there on the logo...
the phone works fine normally but it just hangs on the recovery....

Well i have attached the original Recovery .. try flashing these one .... and try to boot up the recovery ...
if it boots up then maybe the CWM for Our is not working for your Phone !
reflashed it and it doesnt work...
Our phones are same... exact copy of each other... same finger print and everything... then how come mine has a larger mp camera and no 3g?
I mean its like the removed these feature.. but i know the didnot...
if something is disabled in kernel/boot it wont show up as it doesnt exist right?

First of all check out that you have all the things required :
1. A Motorola DefyXT535.
2. Must be rooted.
You would require some apps too:
1. Pimp My Rom
2. stericson Busybox
Here Is The Process
Open busybox and Install it.(smart install recommended)
Open Pimp my Rom and add Universal init.d support.
here is the process:
1)Download and Extract The Attached CWM_Touch.zip
2)Then conncet your device to pc select mass storage mode
3)Paste CWM Folder In Your Sdcard(make sure the CWM folder should be like this sdcard/CWM/bootmenu)
4)Then get out of usb storage mode connect device as camera(by dragging notification area u will see connected as select camera mode there)
5)Then press install bootmenu defyxt.bat
6)Follow the onscreen instructions
after seeing
^^^^^^^^^^^^^Made By [email protected]^^^^^^^^^^^^
Press any key to continue . . .
immediately remove the cable form pc
7)your system will be rebooted automatically don't panic
8)When System Is Rebooting And When You See MotorolaM Logo the soft buttons leds will light up.
Be quick enough to press the Volume down(-) button as you see the leds being lighted then You Will Enter Into Bootmenu
9)Then Select Recovery And Then Select Custom Recovery Finished

ont 4th step ( Then get out of usb storage mode connect device as camera...) when i do this, the installer can't see my device but if i leave the phone on mass storage it looks like to install the custom recovery. BUT i am not able to get into the recovery mod by pressing the - volume key.
Any idea where i made something wrong ?

when you connecting phone in camera mode just wait for some time till the phone drivers load then install the cwm try once

I've tried to install 3 times, and all failed. twice bootloop, once succeeded but can't enter recovery and suddenly blackscreen in normal boot.

No,I'm using your custom rom now.It succeeded in stock ics but failed in your rom.The cmd says OK,but the soft buttons leds don't light up
Why should it removed immediately? The one can't enter recovery mode and blackscreen in system boot, i thought it because the init.d support from Pimp my ROM (this time i use the beta release and i'm not sure with its init.d add options)

I have noticed that the notifylight doesn't blink when received a new sms.

If u r using my custom rom then the leds will light in d middle of boot animation

1. I have one reseted two phones so far but the phones only work on the first boot when i turn off the device it wont boot again it will just restart when it vibrated to go into home screen please help!!!!

Sorry for not adding that it is a hard brick as my phone is stuck on the logo and it does go into the normal recovery mode but i dont have cwm recoveryand when i turn it of it keeps on coming back to the logo by itself.

Hi!
Please download from your HAM an stock firmware! Extract UPDATE.APP from this firmware and cpoy UPDATE.APP on your external sdcard in directory /dload. In your external sdcard you must see /dload/UPDATE.APP.
Now pot your sdcard on your device, ( make sure your device is not connected with USB cable !) press and keep at the same time : volume down, volume up & power button ! After awhile your device will be able to re-write your firmware from /dload/UPDATE.APP.

Please remove USB cable to be able to flash stock firmware on stock recovery ! If you already tried to flash stock firmware without USB cable connected, than it looks like you need to go to service centre, because module VERLIST cannot be written on your device !
I was in the same situation, my issue was ( writing module SYSTEM failure ) !

I would redownload the update.app. the zip could be corrupted. Also make sure when you unrar it use 7zip or winrar. Once i used the windows archiver and it wouldn't work.

I have almost the same problem and reaaaaallly would love to get some help. I bricked the HAM during installation of CM10.1. Had root acces and TWRP, But now it just gets stuk in the HUAWEI ASCEND screen.
If I boot into huawei recovery it goes into boot look during and can't finsish installation!
Is there anything I can do?? Or is my phone dead?

Sorry i meant it will get stuck in a Boot loop, it keeps restarting itself.
So it starts with the update and then it checks all the =ok but it only comes to SYSTEM and then it reboots itself.

Try this, and see if it works.
1. Make sure the SD card is formatted as fat32.
2. Redownload the UPDATE.APP
3. Make sure when you are doing the update make sure your HAM is not connected to the PC via USB cable.
If these don't work, go into recovery and choose wipe cache/factory reset. Try rebooting and see if anything happens.

Thanks I tried both with no succes
If I go in huawei recovery by pressing Power + volume up +volume down and do a full wipe HAM will reboot itself automatically after 10 secs still get stuck in Boot screen Huawei Ascend after reboot.
I formatted the SD and put the Update.app in dload folder. HAM is not connected to PC. Still it comes no further then checking system before it switches itself off agian.

4 . Choose install zip from SD card and select the rom package .
5 . Choose yes to conform it .
6 . After flashing, choose reboot .
7 . You successfully unbricked your device.
Notes : - You cannot choose any custom rom packages for your device. Choose only one that is created for your device. Goto xda Wiki and select your device. There you can see a list of custom roms created for your device .

- a windows based PC with latest ADB installed
- a rom ( in zip format ) designed for your device
1 . Copy the ZIP package you want to install in the same location where you keep ADB drivers ( adb.exe, AdbWinApi.dll, AdbWinUsbApi.dll etcetera ) [it might be at SDK\platform-tools ]
2 . Make sure your device drivers are installed on the PC .
If you're not enabled it , just install them .
3 . Reboot your device in recovery mode ( You can see an Android logo )
To get into recovery menu
Hold down "power" button first, followed quickly by "volume up" button. If this doesn't works , check out the FAQ section for more combinations .
4 . Connect your device to PC
5 . Use the volume up/down keys to select "apply update from ADB" and then press power to select it
6 . Open a command prompt on your PC
- by pressing Shift + Right Click and choose command prompt. ( on the same folder )

- Flash tool
- a firmware created for your device . Downloads can be found here (firmwaremobile.com) .
- a PC ( flash tool also work with Mac , windows & Ubuntu )
1 . Download and install Flash tool to your PC from the above link .
Flash tool you downloaded isn't original Sony's flash tool . Original flash tool can't do this .
2 . Extract the downloaded firmware until you receive “.tft” file using any zip extractor.
Anyway, download the firmware that only created for your device.
3 . Power off your Xperia device .
If it reboots, pull out thebatteryand wait 30 seconds . If your battery is non-removable , you have an option to force power off . Press Power + Volume Up keys to force shut down.
If it does not work , try this too
volume down + power
Anyway do a little search on gopgle about how to do it .
4 . Open flash tool and click the lightning thunder button and select flash-mode.
5 . In firmware selection area, browse for the FTF firmware file .
6 . Make sure that , “Wipe cache” & “Wipe User Data” options are ticked.
7 . Press OK” button to start flashing
8 . Enable flash mode.
Press and hold the Volume down key to enter to flash mode . If it doesn't work, press and hold the Back key instead .
Now press and hold the flashmode key and connect your phone into the computer via USBcable.
Note :- If he device suggests to disconnect phone from the PC , press back key to Ignore it, but don’t close it. Wait a few seconds, it automatically closes .
9 . Wait for completing installation process . Disconnect and reboot the device.
10. Done !

Thank you for your advice . But i would like to add more unbrick guides for different devices ( including htc, sony ..) and the frist guide is commen for all devices . So it is better to keep that name .

I have yoga 2 10" 4G 1050L
I tried to flash a ROM but flash failed at 66% and my tablet is dead and I don't know how to fix it.
When I power it on, I can see the first screen (lenovo logo) and then nothing (black screen).
Can anyone help me?

Have you tried booting into recovery with your devices button combo.
How about a link to your devices forum so we can help you better

Tell me how did you flashed that rom?or how did that flashing failed ( a power issue? )
Give me the rom link if you have .
I wonder , does it have a recovery mode?

Android is the community, which has a huge count of user all over the world . But most of them stay away from rooting and modding , because they don't need a bricked device . Due to the less security , only some touches can make your expensive device into a paper weight .
Here I am explaining some tutorials that may help you to unbrick your device . Anyway doing a hard reset before anything is a better idea .
1 . The first step is to enter to the recovery mode . It may vary devices to devices. I will explain it here .

* Press Volume up + volume down + home + power buttons simultaneously and wait for the boot logo. ( Some combinations are given in the first method . Take a look )
2 . Do a factory reset and wipe data cache & dalvic cache using the recovery mode . (wiping battery stats isn't necessary, but doing it make no problem)
3 . Choose Reboot
For LG devices
================
1 . Turn off your device .
2 . Press and hold the power and volume down buttons simultaneously .
3 . When the LG logo shows up, release the power button only.
4 . Press and hold the power and volume up button while keeping your hold on the volume down button.
Hold those buttons until you get a factory reset screen.
5 . Press the power button to continue.
6 . Press it again to confirm if you’re sure you wish to continue with the reset.
7 . Reboot
8 . It's done! [/b]
For HTC devices
================
1 . Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then press and hold the POWER button.
2 . Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear,and then release the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
3 . Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button to continue .
4 . Reboot
5 . Done!
Hard reset can cure lots of problems . But it cannot do anything if you edit the system partition. So do the explained methods below .

Recovery Mode Method

This method is used , if the device has a recovery mode like CWM (clockworkmod ) , TWRP ( Team win recovery project) etc.
What you need ???
- a bricked device having recovery mode
- a rom ( in zip format ) designed for your device
- patience
1 . The first step is to enter to the recovery mode . It may vary devices to devices. I will explain it here .
* Switch off / shut down your device
* Press Volume up + volume down + home + power buttons simultaneously and wait for the boot logo. ( this combination is for Samsung devices. Do the below it it doesn't work )
Here is some another combinations
- volume up + volume down + power
- volume down + power
- volume up + power
If the above combinations didn't work , just Google it about the recovery mode of your specific device.
2 . Move the rom into your extSdCard / SdCard / pendrive ( depending upon the device & type of recovery).
3 . Do a factory reset and wipe data cache & dalvic cache using the recovery mode .
4 . Choose install zip from SD card and select the rom package .
5 . Choose yes to conform it .
6 . After flashing, choose reboot .
7 . You successfully unbricked your device.
Notes : - You cannot choose any custom rom packages for your device. Choose only one that is created for your device. Goto xda Wiki and select your device. There you can see a list of custom roms created for your device .

Hi ,I'm sai .I had got my samsung galaxy star pro bricked while flashing TWRP IMG file (latest).I had no recovery like CWM, TWRP etc .I haven't got any backup also .could you plese help me to unbrick my phone.
