another brick (?) story and help wanted

hi there,
i was on HYD52ROM V2 for the Ascend P6.
I decided to do an upgrade to the KitKat Version of HYD52ROM. So i installed the TouchRecoveryInstaller-v1_01.apk and rebooted. I had the newest file of the Rom on my SD-Card. I wiped the phone and the dalvik also.
Then it said, that there is an error while installing the KitKat Rom.
I thought "no problem" - i had the old V2 on my sd card also.
Now only the bootscreen "Huawei Ascend" appears and nothing more. I can switch off the phone while hitting all the buttons but nothing more. Is there any possibility to get it back working?
If so, please a short step by step will do it.

1) is it important which original firmware version?
2) i have downloaded the "Huawei Update Extractor" ... what to do with it? Do you have a link for the stock recovery? I haven´t read s.th. about it :-/

Press y and then n
Then download http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23252070760973625
and extract it to c:\adb then press sift and right click and go to open commandwindow here
then write: adb reboot bootloader
then: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
and last: fastboot reboot
Then download firmware (latest international is: https://mega.co.nz/#!N8BAxZYJ!8cOp8imgnLxNMfUjCDoBtzR69tz7nLYccL2-VMG4If8 ).
Extract that and make dload folder to your external sd card. and put update.app in to it.. then press power+volumeup+volume down when phone restarts, and it starts to install stock firmware

I have an International version of ascend p6 -06 with B107.
I was trying to install kitkat into it.Its rooted.
I downloaded the UPDATE.APP from one of the forums.I installed twrp and I thought I can use to flash the new ROM using it,but I couldnt find the option,I read somewhere only the zip files can be installed through TWRP. Whenever I press the volume+ + volume- + power button,the phone starts with the TWRP directly than doing any update .I have put the UPDATE.APP file in dload folder in my SD card,still it was not updating with that given shortcut.
I did a stupid thing just now,I wiped all datas using TWRP and now i have no OS installed ,and like that my phone is bricked.now if i switch on the phone it gets stuck at huawei ascend Logo.and if i press volume up and down buttons along with power button,then it goes to TWRP ..
pls pls pls help me ,and thanks a ton in advance.
I even tried downloading the the original rom from the huawei website and still not able to update using that UPDATE.APP file...

don't panic..
you habe to set your phone into bootloader mode..push power and Volumen + (or -) together and hold them for about 5sec until you See the huawei ascend Logo (it stucks there - thats OK)..
then Connecticut your p6 to the pc and Start your ADB..
depending what Firmware you want (JB or KK) you habe to get a stock recovery IMG..
this can be flashed by ADB using the known commands for flashing recovery..
when you have the stock recovery you can put an update.app (e.g. from the last b511) onto your SD card Ingo the dload folder..
then you habe to unplug your phone from pc and press all three buttons (power and Volumen +/- together) and hold them until you See the Android Figure (force update method)..
should work..
if not then you have to search for the twrp sideload feature (via Google)..

no. I used a huawei P6 toolkit.

OK...then there should be the Option to install/flash a stock recovery..

here comes the next problem
I downloaded the abd driver installer 1.0,it identifies my phone.but once i press the button for installing the error pops up.,incompatible with win 8 (64 bit.)now what to do??

The option of installing stock recovery is there,but now when i can connecting the phone its not recognising.it shows phone not connected.

I have no words to thank you..finally its done..the adb drivers were not installed well,thats why it was not picked up by the tool.I updated the stock recovery image and it rebooted and installed well...thanks a ton again..and I appreciate your fast replies.I had spend 2 days only in this.its such a releif.:victory::victory:

I am sorry to trouble you again.yesterday i updater to B508 kitkat,but gprs or 3g were not working.so today I downloaded the B512 version.in this version if iam putting the dload file in SD card,it doesnt read it.I have to put this in internal storage itself.This time my phone is stuck in the normal android recovery stage as I dont have TWRP installed (I guess,the same shorcut is not starting TWRP).
And to update to the older version the update.app file should be there in internal storage which i cannot assess at this point since mobile doesnt start..what do I do??

hve you tried to do a force update (3 button method)..
it should work when you put the update.app in dload folder in your sdcard..
maybe you have to go to another Version (b122 or b132)..
but the only method that might now work is the 3 buttons (power and vol +/- together)..and you have to hold them until you see the Android figure (can take more then 10 seconds.. be patient)..
if this won't work then i'm too speechless (hadn't this case before)..
hope you geht your p6 running..

It worked.I fomatted the sd card and left only dload folder .and used the same version which was originally working (508).now its reverted back to normal ..half my tensions are over.but the i wanna change from this rom,in this my internet doesnt work..I wanted to install B510,but for that I have to install B132 first,which i am trying.but its not working.Any idea what should be done.?

try to flash then recovery Form b132 (usw the huawei update extractor to create one..can be found here in then forum)..then via force update you should be able to installiert then b132..and from there it is easy to load then b512 for example (system update local or force update (there you don't need to change the recovery)..

You meant I shoould make a recovery for B132 using huawei update extractor.I have the P6 tool with me,if i update a recovery image for jellybean (currently its kitkat) will that be enough??

I made B132.zip file and using TWRP i installed it.It showed the istallation was successful,and i rebooted to the system and its stuck in huawei ascend logo and its not moving from there.I tried again using the vol- + vol+ + powerbotton,Its restarting to the sa,me logo.somehow recovery is not working.I think now I am really screwed.

you should not make a ZIP file..
now you are at then beginning again..

Have you tried to turn it off and on again? That was not a joke. Press the POWER Button for 10-15 sec and when the screen goes black use the VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER Button. Now you shuld get to the recovery. Please use Ascend P6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting the next time.

Your phone boot or not ?
"Yes" > You can update throught the settings > More info > Update > Local Update
The update.app need to be in \sdcard\dload folder if you don't have create it If the dl file is a .zip unzip it into you will see the update.app
and if you allow debuging mode (Spam the build number in settings > More info and you will be allow to access to the dev section (in settings) and tick debugging mode then connect to your pc (check the debugging mode in the notification bar)) you can now access to the recovery using adb
For Adb you can dl it here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2636231 and follow the instruction to connect your phone then write this line in the command window
Code:
adb reboot recovery
your phone will boot into recovery
To update The update.app need to be in \sdcard\dload folder if you don't have create it If the dl file is a .zip unzip it into you will see the update.app
The version you have dl is old, latest JB is B132 and KK is B513 for the p6-u06 international (these rom are multilanguages)

I´m Trying to make this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2630208) work on my Huawei,
but i´ve run into some problems.
I cant get my phone to go in fastboot and ADB keeps saying Waiting for devices or says Error device not found.
This image shows what im getting if i connect my phone to my PC and reboot it using VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER

This phone is secureboot phone.
This phone is LOCK state.)

Hi guys,
I can get to recovery mode and the initial splash screen, but not into Android OS on my Huawei p6 U06.
I tried reflashing the rom via SD card with UPDATE.APP B111, but it still fails to boot and hangs on the splash screen.
Another weird thing is that my splash screen doesn't show the huawei logo but an android logo....
I tried to adb the phone but there are no suitable drivers for phones in recovery mode... only for USB developer mode...
Hopefully there is a fix to this.

The debugging mode is off so the device can't be found by adb.
If you can't use stock recovery and you can't flash any recovery because you can't access throught adb, your phone don't boot .. I don't know what to tell you .. your phone is dead ? .. how your phone is in this condition ?

Stock :
Try with B125 or B132 because B111 is too old maybe it's the cause of the problem.
sdcard\dload\Update.app and reboot into recovery "Power (hold) + Volume up (hold) +Volume Down (hold) then when you see the ascend logo just Volume + & - (hold)

1- reboot system now
2-apply update from extrnal stoarge
3- wipe data/factory
4- wipe cache partition
5-apply update from cach
when i choos apply update from extrnal stoarge and select dload no theing apper all empty folder like 00/
and is F A I L

Have you put Update.app in /sdcard/dload ?
You can try with a formatted sdcard sometimes it's the problem

You have modified build.prop file and thats why it keeps failing.. Download B132 firmware and put it to your sdcard/dload folder. What i say 3days/3 topics ago.

I don't know how but there isn't that message anymore, there is only sd card update fail everytime

OK, if you want to try getting adb and fastboot to work. Try these links...

If you want to flash a stock rom. Then on your EXTERNAL SDCard
* Create a folder called "dload"
* put the "UPDATE.APP" from the stock rom into the dload folder.
* power off your phone.
* hold volume up and volume down at the same time (keep them both pressed in).
* now use your third hand to press the power button.
* When the phone starts up keep holding the volume up and volume down buttons until the stock recovery starts up...
(this all doesn't work if your phone is plugged into the usb cable at the time, so you need at least 25% battery to do this).

Need help with qfil. Urgent!! Please help

so my device is stuck in recovery boot so even when i install a ROM it keeps going to recovery again. i was suggested to use QFIL. so i did followed all the instrcutions downloaded all necessary files and port 9008 is also showing up. the problem is when i press download i get the same error. ive tried restarting the program computer and even got test mode on.

Some guys had this error because the drivers wasnt installed properly. Try to install the drivers again.
Also, have you unlocked the bootloader? Try that also. That can also fix the issue.

I've installed the ZUK_UsbDriver_1.0.5 drivers onto my PC. my bootloader was already unlocked. I rooted my phone and installed TWRP and a custom ROM. I went to factory reset my phone and now i only have the TWRP recovery left. When i go to install the new ROM zip from TWRP it installs without any errors but when it goes to boot the system it booting into TWRP.

Have you mount everything in the recovery? Check if everything is checked in the mount setting in twrp

when i click on them and tick them and reboot the system then i reboot to system it goes back to TWRP. i look on mount again and the ones that i checked became unchecked with only 'Data' and 'Cache' the only ones stayed checked

Here are a few checks that you should do to get rid of problem:
1. check for z2 plus drivers
2. check for qualcomm diag drivers
3. place the firmware folder so that path is short ('C:/firm')
4. Restart system
4. launch qfil, select relevant files as mentioned in tutorial, get into qualcomm port mode (either through shut down phone+vol up key OR adb reboot edl). As soon as you see port in qfil hit download.

My phone also got stuck in a TWRP bootloop and I solved it with this solution:
Go to TWRP recovery terminal commands, and enter the following:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/soc/7464900.sdhci/by-name/misc

i was so panicked this happend and nothing worked and my phone device is like 2 days old lol

I just flashed ROM, clicked reboot,,then reboot bootloader...then clicked start or even started factory mode. Boots right up

Is this all in one line?

I tried to unlock bootloader and install custom rom but the when I tried to install pixel rom in twrp mode it shows errors many time so I disconnected cable and after that I tried to connect with cable it doesn't connect do I locked the bootloader through adb fastboot loader and now my phone is not turning off or on only screen show zuk and powerd by Android.
Pls help me what to do now.
