[Q] trigger usb host - retry..... (error?)

hey i have a questen or better to say a problem .... i want to change my rom ... to shine on from panosha http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405728 ... using the flashing method from internal storage .....
i did everything like told in this threat http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2707841&postcount=4035
.... but if i restart+voldown+reset it is in this mode but then it does not go on when my diamond tries to load the USB host ... like i told in the title.....

already flashed my device to a cusom rom .... forgo the name "shame over me" ... but it was a 1.00 build.... im using Unsigned-Hard-Spl-OliNex...

you should rename the nbh file as' DIAMIMG.nbh' and press vol down, the back button and reset.

î know i did as is told i did everything as written in the threat.... but thx for try.... anyone got an other idea??? neeeed help!

Do you also see something like image not found flashing?
It is a fraction of a second.

dont know ... take a closer look next time i try.... but for now i change from 1.00 to 1.97 if i find a suitable

for those who cant flash via internal ..... try to change first to a other rom verion ..... i did from 1.00 to duttys 5.2....... and works now

dont use TAEL ROM on diamond.......i faced same thing after using that

i had the same problem
most of the roms come with the nbh file already named to diamimg.nbh i found when i loaded the file without renaming it. it worked without any problem.

Hi Guys! I have a same problem, but I'm not solve this yet. I'm not sure how I replace this diamimg.nbh, because my diamond not start anymore (I use mtty, so I'm not sure is this the reason).
So only what I can do, is hard reset and bootloader mode, but I'm not able to change diaming.nbh because my pc not detected internal storage.
I load this: [ROM][14/07][WWE][NEW:SENSE 2016]Memo2.6.0.0[WM6.1][SEN2.5+MEMORY&GRAPHIC TWEAKED]
But I make a huge mistake.. (I had a rush and I rename this zip-file to diaming.nbh... ), So I realize this too late, and I'm trying to start with this..
And now when I start diamond, there is only first "touch diamond" logo, but nothing else..
I also trying to update this rom with usb, but CustomRuu says: "application error.." and not working..
If somebody knows what I have to do, please help me! Thanx!!

I was flashing my jasjam using sspl-herm and a 6.1 rom ,
While upgrading the progress bar reached the end but it stayed saying upgrade in progress , it took too longer than normal and i knew it wouldnt continue so i soft resetted the phone ,
now it's stuck in the splash screen before even the windows loading.
Plz plz plz help....

try doing a hard reset not just a soft reset that might help

if u have loaded hardspl then hold power button + OK button on sides of phone and then stick stylus into reset button an dthis should get u 2 red, green, white, blue colour screen and then plug usb in and re-flash

1st I tried hard resetting and it didnt work
2nd I DONT have hard spl
3rd I get into bootloader , i plug the usb cable but i cant flash , the ruuwrapper program says error during upgrade , i think it cant access the phone first coz the mobile device icon in my computer is emtpy , second activesync says not connected(although it tries to) and device manager reads an " htc usb sync " drive but no letter or something

Activesync doesn't need to be runing.
download mtty and do like he said here "http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Instructions for those stuck on Boot Screen" (copy all text between " " and paste to your browser).
After "set 14" give "task 8"

Try flashing from SD card, first the HardSpl ant then the Original Stripped ROM.

@eryunt : how ?? i have a custom rom with the name HERMIMG.nbh on my sd card but it doesnt upgrade it says loading for a few seconds then some red numbers and letters appear at the top of the screen then it goes into the bootloader and doesnt upgrade

Try downloading HARDSpl7 from here:

Unzip it and rename the file "RUU_signed.nbh" in "HERMIMG.nbh"; put it on SD and so you will flash the HARDSpl.
Then, make the same thing with the file "RUU_signed.nbh" extracted from an original shipped ROM.

Yes, you need an SD-Reader for your PC

Okay , now i have a cooked rom on my sd card (fat32 formatted) named HERMIMG.nbh when i get into bootloader it says loading for a few second then a red number "00068002" appears at the top of the screen and it continues to the tri-colour bootloader
any help ??

Try downloading HARDSpl7 from here:

No no no no..... HSPL cant be upgraded now via SD card cause th SSPL was unsuccesfull!!!!!.....
Get a XP PC... your batt must be 50% charged or more "better", a working USB cable
NO SD CARD inserted... your XP pc must have NET frameworks 3.5
put your device in bootloader mode.... and upgrade any stock rom to rewrite a valid SPL cause your is corrupted now
then when you get a stock rom working via SSPL you will be able to redo the steps to flash HSPL V7

HTC desire 2.2 HELP please

Ok so, this is my first android phone and after being prompted to install the 2.2 update on my European htc desire, i downloaded and started it installing. It gets to about 23% and says process system unavailible and after reading what people said i cleared the phone and tried to install the update manually from the SD card. This didn't work
My phone currently does this
Will boot into what it says is 2.2 but with no wifi, no service, and no SD card showing up
then after about 5 minutes it will reboot.
I have no idea what i can do to fix this? could someone please help me, i'm a noob with android so a clear step by step would be much appreciated

how did you create a blank goldcard, i can't access my SD card on my phone while it's in the phone so how did you do it

Do you have a WIFI connection? I do, and did the OTA 2.2 upgrade over WiFi with no problems, on my Unbranded European HTC Desire.
If youre phone won't boot properly, there are a few answers; 1) Return in to HTC, they're getit working and back to you, 2) Return it to th place of purchase, 3) Root/reflash (but sounds like it might not be an option).

When I got in touch with HTC they wanted £50 to do a reflash, falsely accusing me of rooting my device..

was that 50$ to send it to them? or can they do it without having it there. Because if THEIR update screwed up my phone i don't see why i should have to pay for a fix

Tell me about it, so thankful I managed to fix it myself!

It sounds like you are alll applying an OTA update for the standard ROM to what was a branded device. There are lots of explanations as to how to fix this if this is the case
In summary
Download update from mentioned here
Copy this to root of your goldcard and rename to update.zip
Turn off phone
Turn on holding down vol down
Select Bootloader then Recovery (an image of device should appear with exclamation mark over)
In menu (sorry forgot how you get in, if it does not appear then try power+vol down or power + back). From there choose apply update.zip
Wait while update applied
After update select reboot and wait for device to boot

I've just tried this again, installation looked like it went through ok, rebooted and relaoded into sense, then it shows me a status bar counting, normally this gets to about 10% then says ?Sorry process system is not responing, so i can either click wait or force close, then in continues upto about 97% then reboots and reloads only to load a white screen showing htc and continues counting in percentages, gets to about 15% then says force close, then onto about 91% then reboots this goes on for a while until it just shows me a sorta bricked phone with no wifi, gsm or any real functionailty and it continues to reboot every 5 mins, back to where I started showing 2.2 as installed
One strange thing I have noticed is that my CID is

Tried all this, thanks. Goldcard created using Gold Card Tool 0.0.5 (awesome job Klutsh) . I get the error message:
"E:failed to open /sdcard/update.zip (No such file or directory)" even though it is in the root dir when I look at the card on my PC.
Should it be in a directory called /sdcard ?

i get this same problem. How do i create a gold card if when i plug in my phone to my pc it won't recognise it and when i put the SD in the phone the bricked 2.2 won't recognise it

I had to format the card in a card reader in my PC, then use the Gold Card Creator mentioned elsewhere in the thread. You have to install HTC Sync because enough drivers are in there to at least allow the apps to 'see' the card at physical level, even if the bricked Android doesn't. Set the phone to USB debug mode in Settings/Applications - the phone stays 'on' long enough between reboots to do that and get a CID out of it! Then Gold Card Creator works well enough to get the CID from the SD.
I'm trying this again with a 2GB card to see if makes any difference.

Quick update to this. Make sure you have extensions of known file types SHOWING in your folder settings. I was naming the file update.zip.zip!!

well i phoned the shop here in australia that i bought it from and they said they've had alot of desires being returned because they've been bricked by the update and to just send it back and they'll fix it and update to 2.2 for me

its better to download the latest KAISimg.nbh from ATools.
and make sure you have formatted your sd card to fat32 , in order to flash the kernel and install everything without errors.

Verify the filename or maybe it could be a sd problem (try with another one)

Don't flash with SD, use USB instead. My Kaiser refused to work with SD, but works perfect over 50 flashes later with USB. I am using Windows 7, I just plug the kaiser in and let windows detect that something is there. Then I download the update for WM device center or whatever they renamed activesync to since vista lol. Afterwards it will detect well enough. Once it does I use RUU custom and just flash it over usb with that Kaisimg file. Not a well written guide I know... I can at least send you my ruu custom if you need it.

as per your screen shot. you phone is in boot loader already.. active sync only detects phone wen its running windows.. you dont need to sync your device with active sync when its already in boot loader.. just connect it with pc and run update utility of windows rom u want to have on your phone.. or update utility with android kernel to boot android in it.. your phone will be working in no time..

Yep Activesync will see something is there but it isnt a WM device basically. That is good enough to let RUU Custom work.

Format your SD Card in FAT 32
use HP USB Disk Storage format tool (find it somewhere over google)
Edit: http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=197
and make sure that the nbh is renamed as kaisimg.nbh.
For instance only put the nbh on your SD card (nothing else) and try flashing.
I am using HSPL 3.59 and its going good. (before that it was 3.34 and never caused any problems) Radio Version 1.70.19.09

I tried to install it in first and it gave error "smd_alloc_v1: cid 47 does not exist". And at the second time the screen started flickering and hanged up there only. So plz tell me in detail. I have been waiting for long about this.

hey bro...am also from India(delhi)
first download sdformatter software (search it from google) and then quick format ur sd card using it. now copy the tg01 folder(the folder that contains haret application) to it. now tap clrcad 4-5 times...it may show alert, click yes....or it may not....after that jus click the haret app.....it should work now....and first boot will definitely be taking several minutes but after tht its great.

But many things are not working like can't call or disconnect(It takes ages to call , don't know how to disconnect). Also 3G is not working. Can u PLZZZZZZ put a stable android os. yup....many things are not working.....but its jus beginning and with time the picture will change...
u can use it for playing some cool android games like angry birds....
also a surprise i got- thats an mkv movie 1280x720p playing very smoothly...

if u r experiencing flickers when on non home screen applicatins, settings, etc
jus open the mplayer app and press the start{central} hard key so that it runs in background....now do whtever u want.... no flicker anymore.....it should not happen again but if it occurs do the same procedure

The amplifier IC is LM49151 and i am not able to find the driver for the same once we will get driver for that audio problem will be solved..

Hey guys, after when switch on to android it takes around 15 minutes to get the signal and recognised and when u cal, the end button does not work so for that u have to press hold and then press end button and then it works. And it does not support messaging and internet also. I just thought to say the problems bcaz its my first time abt tweaking. So plz anybody finds any solution plz do let me knw. What i mean is that you guys know that some of the features are not working on when u port into android like microphone, no message support, no internet support although it shows operator name and also no speaker, bit flickering but you can follow rvin42's idea. So plz anybody do something. Try anything guys.

downloaded and will test it in a while. i can test anything you want, i have lg expo and its just my spare phone. barely use it for movies. i also want android with DLP support!!
ran it and haret froze, then ran it again and booted but got stuck at creating new data.

Hello el_venga, hey lg expo has same configuration as fathom, so plz if u find anything new or modification abt the android plz let us know man. Hey by the way if u need any help u can ask here.

sometimes stays at Booting Linux and then it just restarts to WinMob and when it finally boots get stuck where the pic is. btw it has to be in flight mode to boot there.

not actually stuck but just keeps going and the number at the left gets bigger and bigger.
when it finishes screen just stays black.

this happened with me too....
wht i did was formatting my micro sd with sdformatter ....
then jus follow the steps...and dont forget to tap clrcad 5 times before u run haret...hope it works
