5. Install 6.2 Jelly sandwich

works fine but wifi dont work
kernel arcknight 3.5.1 RC and wifi
why dont working wifi ?

So.... It's not lagging anymore? Then try flashing some other kernel and their corresponding wifi modules. I recommend trinity kernel. You can find it in the first post of jelly sandwich thread.

I didn't have any of the problems that you've been facing when I was using JS. Did you miss out on any important steps which might have resulted in this happening? Try flashing it again properly, the problem shouldn't persist.

is it using different kernel causing different bugs? because i using jellybean 6.2 and ArcKnight_RC3.5.1_OC the pureness advanced settings cannot be open and fc..

best OC kernel for LT15 ?

[Q] Problem with wifi , i need help.....

I flash Jelly sandwich v5.0(lastest) with DoomKernel v5 Beta , the first time when i flash wifi is working
but now when i flash again wifi not work, i can't understand , i have aready flash module wifi doomkernel many time but still not work
And i can't use another kernel like trinity , knight, lusupu.... because when flash finish it auto reboot , just reboot and reboot not work
I try come back jelly sanwich v4.5 with trinity kernel , wifi working but i don't like this version
I use sony ARC Lt15i.
Please help me and tell me why, how can i fix
thanks
Try this..
Boot into CWM > do a "wipe data/factory reset", wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache and re-flash the kernel + the modules (NOTE: always flash the kernel first then wifi modules)
I have the exact same issue as mnbo123. I wonder if Your solution works..
unfortunately the problem still persists on my LT15i. I've checked different kernels (trinity&arcknight) - both result in bootloops. Doomkernel v5 works, but wifi is unavailable. I tried to reflash it and then install the modules in CWM with no success.
Any ideas how to fix it ?

Have you got an arc s or arc and have you a locked bl?

in cwm before installation
1. Wipe data/factory reset
2. wipe cache partition
3. go to mounts and storage menu and\
4. format /system
5. format/data
6. format cache
7. exit mounts and storage menu
6. go to advance
7. wipe dalvik cache
8. wipe battery stats
9. exit advance
10. install Jelly sandwich from sd card without rebooting
I have done all of this and i am also stuck at sony logo damn strange.
I gave up trying to install this and other roms due to always ending up stuck at the Sony logo. I tried all different methods of formating in cwm but none worked for me and being on a locked bootloader it's so time consuming to get back to a point where you can try again.

hahahaha so true , i have lost my afternoon trying to install this Rom. What is strange is that i had a working JSandwich (and old version).
I am tiered of going to stock then kernel for neo V then root explorar x-parts ...
But stock sucks so much compared to JS that i will probably try again in a few days.
I have locked bl in my arc s and it was never easy to install the latest versions of JS lol but if I did a full wipe ( data, cache, format /sytem, etc.) I would finally have the rom working. Probably the problem that your facing is related to your aroma combinations

I was using JS 6.2 and try to install 7.1 for a changing. But when i try to install CWM 7.1 there was an error like "bad".(little android icon was down with an error on the background)
Then i roll back to 6.2
What was the problem. Isn't my Kernel or what any opinion?
I have Advanced Stock Kernel.

Yea i'm sure i'm doing the right installation. I install back to the Jelly Sandwich 6.2.
Is there any differences installing 7.1 and 6.2. I guess not.
-Install the kernel. (Already have Stokc Kernel)
-Put 7.1 setup into sd car.
-Reboot in recovery mode.
-Wipe data and cache
-Choose sd card and install(When i choose i got a broken android icon background and istallation aborted.)
-Then rollback to 6.2
I'm not sure what is wrong. anybody tried 7.1 on Lt15i?
I'm happy with 6.2 but why not more
Thanks.
make sure in cwm before installation
1. Wipe data/factory reset
2. wipe cache partition
3. go to mounts and storage menu and\
4. format /system
5. format/data
6. format cache
7. exit mounts and storage menu
6. go to advance
7. wipe dalvik cache
8. wipe battery stats
9. exit advance
10. install Jelly sandwich from sd card without rebooting
see if this works.
maybe!!
I am using jelly sandwich 7.0 in my lt15i with no problem.
Haven't tried 7.1 yet cause of it's battery drainage issue.TRY to install 7.0 first
using arc knight 3.5 kernel.

If I flash back to the GB ROM that's available when I use EMMA (when I tried earlier it is the only "service" that came up). Then do the steps outlined here, will it work? Or should i use the 4.0.4 ROM in the link that you provided? -> http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/399620/LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_Generic_Global.ftf

[Q] quick question on lupus kernal as i cant post in development

hi all,
first hello im new here,
sorry to post here but im not allowed to post in the correct lupus thread.
i have arc s, LT18i, i have unlocked it and installed ultimate hd 4, with (recommended) latest lupus v16 kernal.
it went fine no probs but i now have no wifi, ive read the thread and there was issues with wifi not working but the latest version 16 states no need for wifi zip as built in??
can anyone confirm this or suggest a kernal that workes well with uhd4
thanks
barkx
Flash the kernel, then do a full wipe and install the ROM. I am on UHD 4.0 as well and everything works fine. As for recommended kernel, Jader recommends LuPuS kernel.

Flash Kernel for stock ICS (LuPuS v16)
Place ROM on SD-Card
Back up user apps and data
Power off phone
Boot to CWM (Keep pressing the Volume Down key after the Sony logo appears or key designated for your phone)
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Mounts and Storage --> Format /System
Advanced > Wipe Battery Stats
Install zip from SD card > Choose Xperia Ultimate HD
Follow on screen instructions on AROMA.
After Complete Installation untick "reboot" and select reboot in CWM
And you should be up and booming now !!

Don't make it even more complicated, guys. To fix the WiFi issue, you do not have to reinstall the ROM or kernel.
Lupus kernel(s) have built-in menu. Install Terminal Emulator or use 'adb shell', type command 'lupus' and use the wifi option (can not remember, how it was exactly given in the menu).
