[Q] Problem with wifi , i need help..... - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flash Jelly sandwich v5.0(lastest) with DoomKernel v5 Beta , the first time when i flash wifi is working
but now when i flash again wifi not work, i can't understand , i have aready flash module wifi doomkernel many time but still not work
And i can't use another kernel like trinity , knight, lusupu.... because when flash finish it auto reboot , just reboot and reboot not work
I try come back jelly sanwich v4.5 with trinity kernel , wifi working but i don't like this version
I use sony ARC Lt15i.
Please help me and tell me why, how can i fix
thanks

Try this..
Boot into CWM > do a "wipe data/factory reset", wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache and re-flash the kernel + the modules (NOTE: always flash the kernel first then wifi modules)

I have the exact same issue as mnbo123. I wonder if Your solution works..

unfortunately the problem still persists on my LT15i. I've checked different kernels (trinity&arcknight) - both result in bootloops. Doomkernel v5 works, but wifi is unavailable. I tried to reflash it and then install the modules in CWM with no success.
Any ideas how to fix it ?

k your second step doesnt make any sense to me.
1. flash 62 ftf. let the phone boot completely
2. flash doom v14 and let phone boot completely(doom already has cwm so dont understand why you download from market)
3. now boot into cwm wipe data, wipe cache partition, and wipe dalvik cache.
4. then flash jokawildv3.zip or watever its called
5. DONT FLASH NOTHING ELSE FOR NOW. just let the phone boot completely.
6. then after you see everything is fine then you flash your modules and any other desired add-ons.
It takes a while to bootup on some roms; the first time. Also try re-downloading the rom/formatting your sd card - may be a file reading error... IF what soloman suggested doesn't work.

[Help] Bad Boot Loop :(

Hey guy's,
i unlocked my bootlaoder, rootet my phone (LT18i) and flash the ArcKnight Kernel. After that i've installed THIS ROM. Everthing works fine, great Rom but not fully translated yet, so i want to flash another Rom until MIUI's is fully translated. I Flashed CM9 RC1. But it won't boot....now with every Rom i try to flash i came into a boot loop -.-
What is wrong, i'm frustrated :crying:
Only thing that works is to flash the Orginal Rom from sony via Flashtool, but Sony Roms suck.
Yes i wipe cache/factory reset and all this stuff
PLEASE HELP ME :crying:
Have you changed kernel while using CM9??
before flashing CM9 make sure to flash its default kernel (FXP) because the stock kernel wont work with CM9 and will lead you to bootloops
just flash the kernel > in CWM do the necessary wiping (make sure to wipe dalvik cache to) > and re-flash the ROM
okay thanks, i don't knew that. I'll try it and tell you if it works
ok nice, everthing works fine. Big thanks to both of you :good:

works fine but wifi dont work
kernel arcknight 3.5.1 RC and wifi
why dont working wifi ?
So.... It's not lagging anymore? Then try flashing some other kernel and their corresponding wifi modules. I recommend trinity kernel. You can find it in the first post of jelly sandwich thread.

I didn't have any of the problems that you've been facing when I was using JS. Did you miss out on any important steps which might have resulted in this happening? Try flashing it again properly, the problem shouldn't persist.
is it using different kernel causing different bugs? because i using jellybean 6.2 and ArcKnight_RC3.5.1_OC the pureness advanced settings cannot be open and fc..
best OC kernel for LT15 ?

[Q] Can't connect to camera

Hey my camera was just running fine on my stock rom on my note 2. However when I installed custom rom (dn3 and omega), all it does was failed to connect to camera every time I try to load camera.
I tried a lot of things like safe mode, run another camera app, clear cache, wipe data, reinstalled a diferent rom etc, changed kernel from omega's stock to agni (omega's stock was causing me all my apps to FC) but I still could NOT get my camera to boot. I tried runnign the stock test thing *#0*# but only my front camera can boot while the back one FC.
Any ideas what I should do next?
(I have no idea which stock ROM to use and whether I can downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.1.x or lower)
(I also have no idea whether I can go from R3 of my AGNI kernel to R2 without causing problems)

I would suggest a full wipe including preload and cache / dalvik / data and flash ROM (DN3 V5+ works great) let ROM settle and try again if works then flash Agni Kernel R2 after

yea did that but it only FCs everywhere on every app. :/
I tried another kernel (nadia) and until now no FCs.
What's the difference? What mistake did I make -_-" aren't kernel cross compatible?
