Vanishing IMEI/MEID on VZW GNex - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

From time to time I cannot connect to mobile data, even though 3G shows above the signal triangle. A few solutions that randomly work are to toggle the radio from LTE/CDMA to CDMA only (and then back to LTE), toggle in and out of airplane mode, and the last resort of rebooting. The only method that works consistently is rebooting. Happened again today, and I noticed a few oddities on the phone status page in settings:
- Both IMEI and MEID were shown as "unknown"
- Phone number was visible
- Mobile status shows "connected"
- IP addresses (both IPV4/IPV6) were assigned
Prior to this (for the past 108 or so hours of uptime) all was fine, but in the midst of playing Words with Friends the signal bars grayed out and would not resume the connection. After several trials of my "solutions", I had to reboot. Sure enough, after reboot all was well again, and the IMEI and MEID were again displayed correctly in the phone status page.
As my signature shows, I am stock unrooted. While I have seen that a few individuals somehow wiped out their efs partition during a flash, that doesn't seem to be the case here since all of my info came back upon reboot.
Thoughts?

Since you're completely stock, try exchanging for a referb with Verizon?
Will the next nexus have a longer screen?

I found that reseating the SIM card fixed my triangle (Roaming) issue. May be worth a shot.

I had this same issue. Sudden loss of service. IMEI: unknwon, Phone Number: unknown, etc...
I brought it to VZW to try a new sim. No go. They told be to call Samsung.
They verified that I actually had tried the idiot proof stuff, and confirmed its dead. Still under 1 year manufacturer's warranty. They're paying to mail it back and say they'll repair it, and send it back to me. Here's hoping they don't care that I've been flashing it like crazy for the past 5 months.

Hard to say our problems are related. I am stock unrooted, and as stated in the OP only my IMEI and MEID were unknown. Also came back on reboot. Chances are you killed your efs partition during one of your flashing sessions.

In the future, if anyones IMEI/MEID is perm-disabled due to whatever reason... my thread found here(Post #2) has info on repairing the Gnex MEID/ESN/IMEI.

This has happened to me recently. I've been flashing *safely* since the G1. Since Jelly Bean flasshing removed my network access. I went through a warranty repair and upon unlocking same problem. If my MEID or ESN is corrupt, I have not figured out how to repair it using Prime's instructions. That's a new world to me.

Autoprime, I did find that thread in my frenzied search to fix my phone. I downloaded the tool in post #2 but was confused how to get my phone connected as a COM port, or converserly, it would not recognize it when I changed the setting to USB. Do I need to put my phone in a particular mode, before that utility will recognize it? Do I have to go through the setup in Post #1 (ETS) prior to using the IMIE writing utility? Thanks.

as u said in last sentence... you will have to go thru post 1 steps(only some of them!) to connect to meid tool.
since you guys are on a verizon gnex.. you would need to flash a Sprint rom in order to set the phone into diag mode. i believe most vzw roms have these options left out.. at least stock did.
2 things are required for a successful Ets Diag connection...
1. setting diag mode... this is the *#*#DIAG#*#* menu
2. setting Ets Channel mode to "USB" . This is done in the *#*#DATA#*#* > More > Ets Channel settings.
It MAY be possible to stick with the Verizon rom and use the Sprint Diagnostics App: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774503
not sure if it works with VZW roms tho(im a sprint user).
The VIA Ets tool is the equivalent to messing with QPST/QXDM on Qualcomm phones. Just like Qualcomm phones have to be put into diag mode first before connecting to QPST, the Galaxy Nexus has to be set in the right mode as well.

Thanks very much for laying that out. Is this something that "just happens"? It seems like (over several months) I flashed 50 - 60 times, radio a few times, changed from CWM to TWRP with no problems and then in the middle of the day, I just lose signal.
Could it be a hardware issue? I read somewhere that a modem in a phone got fried and caused the same thing.

i mean.. in my experience it comes with messing with the phone.. the EFS etc. could be from a bad flash.. but yes it could be hardware... or theres even a small chance its just random. youd have to look at the factors leading up to the issue for the best guess.
overall tho.. outside of messing with the efs/NV.. its kinda weird for it just just to happen.. id consider that very rare.

UPDATE: sent back to Samsung. They replace the main board under warranty. Works like a charm now.

Missing MEID/IMEI no service but internet is working.
I've been searching high and low and have came across various forums that are related to my problem but I'm still not sure if its the problem I have
or what to do exactly. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with VZW, rooted, running a custom ROM (CM10), Android version 4.1.2 JZO54K. My
service got disconnected and when I paid to get it reconnected I get an empty signal triangle and sometimes an R above it (roaming). My internet
works oddly enough but I'm unable to receive/make calls or text messages. My status reflects; Network: searching for service; Service state: out of
service; Mobile network state: disconnected; MEID: unknown; IMEI: unknown. Before my phone was disconnected it was working fine, please
help!!!

If you did some backups time to time and if you have backup of data folder, inside of data folder you should have folder radio. Inside the radio folder should have data.bin file and data.md5. In my case they was original data files of my phone and after their copy to factory folder ot restore my IMEI.
I hope that helps.

[Q] DFS not recognizing Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 - Flashing to Verizon Prepaid

Can someone help me with this? I think i've tried just about everything.
Specs:
sprint samsung galaxy s3 - phone
CDMA Tools DFS Demo version 4.0.0.5 - software
windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
Problem:
DFS seee the 'samsung mobile usb serial port' in the upper window of the port manager, but it does not appear on the 'devices online' portion. i have successfully had those ports appear there, but its like a flash in the pan on and off, and i have successfully flashed the phones but my goal was unsuccessful. since then DFS has stopped recognizing my s3.
I've put the galaxy into diag mode ##DIAG# and set it to CDMA Modem, and DM + MODEM + ADB for USB setting.
i have/had samsung galaxy s3 driver installed as well as generic samsung USB drivers installed.
I've done a combination of uninstalling and reinstalling them with no luck.
i've disabled kies.
i've factory reset the s3 and tried DFS with no luck.
i've uninstalled DFS and reinstalled different version with no luck.
i've gone into the registry and reset the port com values with no luck.
============================================
what i'm trying to do:
Get sprint s3 onto verizon prepaid. i have the following:
samsung gusto 2 (with 60$ of prepaid minutes)- donor phone
verizon fascinate s1 - dmu donor
sprint samsung galaxy s3 (naturally)
and i cant seem to get data to work on the s1 (calls and text work). i tried and tried but i'm having some major issues.

BUMP!!! Please I am having the same issue. I want to flash a Sprint version to Cricket Wireless but the phone has stopped being recognized, it only show up as a com port but there is no actual recognition of the phone by DFS, QPST, even CDMA workshop doesnt connect to it. Please helP
Ok its working for me but I suspect this is just temporary. Ok mine is a sprint s3 so I don't know if this works with other phones but instead of ##diag# I used *#7284# and I also plugged it into another usb port on my comp. I'm pretty sure our problem will occur again but for now it's working.

you guys aren't gonna believe this but this worked for me. i am rarely able to get dfs and my sprint s3 to read on my laptop (i've had luck lately on my desktop...randomly), but i plugged in a usb hub/splittler thing then connected my s3 to that and now its reading and able to write in diag mode LOL.
annndddd its not able to read the port again. this just doesn't happen with DFS it happens with cmda ws and other programs. its a windows thing.
does anyone have a working consistent solution for this?

are you using com port 2 or 3?
try that if you are not.

its usually like com 6 or higher. i guess i'll try those. hey are u referring to an older version of dfs as far as resetting port? i remember seeing that on 3.1 or so. i'll go test that out
Hey buddy, I was working on flashing my brand new never-activated S3 and became across the same issue with DFS not recognizing my S3. Here is my 100% working solution!!!
Step By Step. Sprint GS3 Instructions.
1. Put your S3 out of DIAG MODE,
---DIAL##3424#
-Select PDA, MTP + ADB. Then press back button all the way to homescreen.
2. Reboot phone.
3. Once your phone is back, put your S3 in DIAG MODE again.
----DIAL ##3424#
Select CDMA MODEM, DM+MODEM+ADB. Then press back button all the way to homescreen.
Plug it in, give it a second. And tada, DFS detects your S3 as an online device. I'm guessing Samsung limited the number of times you can plug in your phone and read/write programming settings, to 1 per boot. By the way, I'm working on flashing it to Virgin Mobile USA.
Oh man! I'm gonna run home and try this! Thanks for the response either way!
Hay would u know how to flash the MiFi 2200 to verizon prepaid by any cance?

Remarkably enough, this worked. I can't stop wondering why on this phone setting Phone Utils to MODEM does not work and PDA works...
Thanks again.
None of you guys are going to like this answer...but it's the truth.
This phone is crap. Period.
You want to know the ONLY real trick to get it to read in CDMA WS, DFS, QPST, etc?
Factory reset. A lot. Then try different cables. Factory reset again. Then a different USB port. Then factory reset AGAIN. And if it still don't work.
You guessed it. Factory reset AGAIN.
Reboot your computer. Factory reset.
The reason is this...the highest percentage of the time, if the phone restarts & is recognized as the same COM port, it will usually not allow any software to connect to it.
I've flashed hundreds of phones...way more than I care to think about, and the SGS3 (Verizon and Sprint) is the absolute most troublesome. It will make you second guess everything, over and over and over again. The Verizon SGS3 holds a special place in my heart as the phone I absolutely hate the most. It used to be the HTC Thunderbolt because you have to reboot after you do damn near anything with diag mode, etc...or LG when you make changes in EPST for mms/data/etc on the handset itself constantly rebooting but NOooooooooooooooo the Verizon SGS3 makes me want to kill it...and the Sprint one is close behind...
They're just quirky. If you can't connect your Sprint one, factory reset it, switch it back to Diag mode & plug it in....you'll almost always connect the first time, unlike the Verizon version which almost always takes multiple resets before it decides to do something. The only thing the posts in this thread that have worked have in common, is that they cause the device to be recognized on a different com port (or as a different device) each time it's restarted.
But, once you make it to the programming phase, WATCH OUT! This thing is FAST and reliable. For added fun, when I do the Sprint ones, I'll also install the SlimRom and OMG...talk/text/data wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee & SlimRom is lightweight & MMS will work without 3rd party apps. FUN!
If this helped, or was the least bit entertaining, please click "THANKS"!

I understand your feelings bro. Actually I felt this way before until I finally figured it out, after a lot of hair pulling and gnashing of teeth. When you enter DIAG mode MAKE SURE PDA IS SELECTED, NOT MODEM. Then tap Qualcomm settings and select the option with RMNET. Voila, phone will be seen by ANY programming tool (CDMA Workshop, QPST, DFS). Hope this saves someone from a lot of hair pulling and gnashing of teeth.

[Q] No 4g LTE After Samsung repair

Hello,
First let me start off that I have searched and searched for this and to no avail cannot seem to find a way to fix this. this problem has been reported on the Sprint Forums as well. Regardless here we go, I had to sent back my s3 to Samsung due to a failure in the usb hub/port upon receiving it back everything was fine except I couldn't connect to 4g. Went to an area where I know I always got 4g and still couldn't get it. I tried to completely refresh the phone a fresh stock image through Odin, still no 4g, called sprint and explained the problem and they provided me with the MSL. Got into my phone using ##data# and everything is set up fine, lte is enabled and radio mode is cdma/lte/evdo did a ##debug# and went into lte engineering, got these results
LTE Engineering

I have no idea what this means,I think maybe PmmMode is power management, if so why is it reading detached?
I am really trying to avoid sending my phone back to Samsung again to have the repair done as I will be out of a phone for 10-20 days, and cant afford that, currently unemployed and that is my only contact number at the moment for jobs I have been interviewing with. If anyone with wonderful XDA brand knowledge could help me out it would be much appreciated, Also like to note that there is one other odd thing, phone keeps telling me No SIM, I didn't think this phone ever had a SIM due to it being cdma sprint. Anyway please and thank you for the future
If it was me I would ODIN back to Stock. Call up Sprint directly. Tell the what the issue is, and ask ( very firmly ) that they provide you with a loaner phone as it is your only means of communication till your device is repaired. I know that they Best Buy provides a loaner phone if you are going to be without a Device for more than a day. I have also had Sprint send me an OG EVO 4G overnight so I would not have to be without a Device. They ended up just swapping them out. I never even had to go into a store. So again I would suggest calling Sprint directly, and explain the issue.
Already reverted back to stock with odin, did all ota updates, even did ##rtn# still no 4g,sprint has told me multiple times on each call that they can't send me a lender phone, Maybe I could talk to Samsung and explain it to them and ask if they can just send me a brand new one since its under manufacturer's warranty and I have had multiple problems with the device. Still I would like to delve into it and see if there is a way to fix it by yourself as a reference for future issues since this seemed to be a common problem on sprint forums, even another one here on XDA itself
That last screen shot of it asking for you to insert sim indicates to me there's something wrong with the device. I have seen several times where people's phones have asked sim card and their devices where damaged and replaced.
Sent from the future via Tapatalk 4
that sim message went away after and ota update,I think it may have been the version of android at the point of time or the configuration of the radio was set to global and not cmda let evdo
As I looked further I am actually going to work in qpst and downgrade to lg2 radio,to a back up and see if I can reprogram the 4g myself somehow, like I said I really do not want to send it to Samsung even though that is the easiest fix for it, I want to find a way to fix this myself to share with the community and hopefully stop the issue from reoccurring, so wish me luck lol, if you guys come across any info link it here, I already looking up qpst and changing the spc to 000000 even though I do not need to do that I am using that as a base for this endeavor, also going to write to 00000 prl to see if it makes a 4g connections with any towers.
Well after speaking to sprint multiple times no one can find out anything to fix it,they allowed me a advanced exchange for another s3 and tech noted the account as such,so just grabbing a new GS3, hopefully this issue doesn't continue
Alright, got the new s3 and using it to compare settings, this is the new LTE settings ins the ##debug# menu,it looks like it was connecting to the wrong band before hand,I think there is a way to change it,hopefully this helps someone out there,I think you can actually chnange the band in the ##debug# menu before, regardless, since I have a new one, I am backup up EVERYTHING lol, made 2 different types of nv item backups, gonna to back up the rooted stock rom I have as well before doing anything.
Glad you're finally sorted out.

[Q] No Network Access on Galaxy Note 2 ATT

Hello my name is Stanley, I recently bought a Galaxy Note 2, I'm from the Dominican Republic so I'm using Claro Dominicana, which uses the same baseband as AT&T, basically instead of the signal bar, I get a circle with a straight line on it, I don't have data, I can't make calls, I can't send sms, when I try to call I get no network access message, I believe it does recognize sim because I don't get any type of error when my cellphone boots up, when I bought this cellphone it wasn't rooted, so I decided to root it and flash a rom, I'm having same issues.
Can you guys help me out please? I already have my APN information but it's not helping, I've tried flashing roms and it's not helping, I really don't know what to do, when I first bought it, I tried my sim out and it did have internet, I decided to do a factory reset through settings menu and after that I haven't been able to get any type of signal, I would deeply appreciate your help guys, I'm getting kind of desperate here.
No signal bars means no modem or a sim card for a dead account. Did you pay for any airtime?

I did try it, I'm pretty sure is unlocked because it was just working before factory reset, I guess I can try to do it again, but I'm pretty sure is unlocked.
I tried several roms and modems and nothing worked, the last thing I did was going back to stock through Odin, but I still get same circle with the line on it, a stop sign, right now I'm on 4.1.1 stock..

i don't know if this might be an issues or not, but check your IMEI. T-Mobile webpage has a method to confirm if it been blocked or not.
http://www.t-mobile.com
As of August 8th of 2013, they've re-designed their webpage.
http://www.t-mobile.com/bring-your-own-phone.html
following that link, scroll down until you see this: "Don’t see your device?" and under that, a search box. click on the link below that search box. it'll bring up a screen within the webpage. input the IMEI from your phone (*#06#) and avoid adding "/ ##" as those aren't part of the IMEI. If it report as stolen, chances are, they probably blocked it. If not, then maybe your provider doesn't support the phone itself. you might have to call customer service from your area.

I couldn't find information about my imei using that webpage, it wasn't able to locate it, I used this webpage which said is clean http://swappa.com/esn I don't know if that page is good, but it says it's clean and ready for activation.
Try a friends sim card to rule that out
If the phone worked on your network before you rooted and flashed the new rom, then I imagine you must have flashed an incompatible modem. If you flashed stock back via Odin and that didn't fix it, I'm scratching my head. Try stock again. Then remove and insert the sim or toggle airplane mode. If it worked before, stock should fix it.

Hello guys, in this case it was actually a hardware problem it seems that the internal antenna of the cellphone which receives the network signal was damaged, I'm already getting it replaced, I'll let you guys know the results.

Do you know what was damaged. Is it the wire connecting the USB flex or is it the antenna built into the back housing?

[Q] "Unknown" and "Mobile Network Not Avaliable" Errors

Hello, I am new here but have intermediate experience with devices.
Alright time to throw everyone for a loop lol, hopefully someone can help me out.
Here is my problem:
My phone is not connected to a network.
Here is what I have:
Samsung Galaxy S III with Metro PCS (NOT rooted, and with latest PRL and software updates)
What happened:
I woke up yesterday to find my phone not on Metros network, and not on a partner network. My 4G still works though, I can access internet but just can not call/txt or receive either.
In Settings > About Device > Status, here are some of the satus'...
Network: Searching for Service
Signal Strength: -93dBm 47asu
Mobile Network Type: LTE:14
Service State: Out of Service
Roaming: Not Roaming
My Phone Number: Unknown
Min: Unknown
PRL Version: 0
Things I've Done So Far:
Contacted Metro through phone support and Facebook support, neither could help fix the problem.
Took my phone into a Metro store and they wont honor a repair since my screen has a hairline crack in the screen. (which I will also say, they noted that already on my account...)
I've already went to *#22745927 and enabled the hidden menu multiple times (cause it disables with each restart) and I've went to **772 to view my MDN and MSID (MIN) and the MDN shows nothing and MSID has a 10 digit number (that's not the right number for my account), so I tried to edit them to the numbers that I know are correct and after I hit done, the phone restarts but then when it comes back on, nothings changed, and when viewing **772 again, the numbers don't save in the fields.
I know *#197328640# lets you access the service menu, but I don't really feel like touching any of that and making things worse (unless someone knows how to fix this issue through the service menu then ill do it)
Now that my long winded speech is done, its your turn to try and solve this dilemma and help me out please
I hope this is the right section to post in, sorry if it is not.
Thanks in advance to any help ^^ if anyone's got any other questions, ill try to answer them best as I can.

Did you IMEI change? Check if it's 004999010640000
1.) Wrong forum. You have a US Version of the S3. Not the international... Ask a mod to move it.
2.) Don't quote the WHOLE OP. Especially if you're the first flipping person to reply!

The IMEI question is still relevant, is it intact? But from what your saying it sounds like you have the old metro s3 model, meaning it's a cdma device not gsm like ours. You probably need to be in Sprints forum as their fixes for this kind of problem will likely be different than ours. I can already tell your dialer codes are different....

First of all thanks for posting
and the IMEI is fine and is there.
I got the GS3 from Metro the first day it came out.
Ok, it's probably the SCH-R530? model. Since T-Mobile bought metro they now have the SGH-T999N. The original one for them was a variant of Sprints if I remember right.
I'd just copy your OP here into a new thread there. They'll probably be better able to help than most people here.

SGH-M919 No Data

Howdy,
About 3 weeks ago, I bought two refurbished SGH-M919 phones off eBay to replace mine and my wife's broken/old phones. Her phone was worse off, so the first one I set up was to be hers. Rooted, installed TWRP, and flashed Mokee with no issues. Put her SIM in, put her data back on, she's good to go.
I go to set the next one up for myself, do everything the exact same way, and came to realize after I put my SIM in that the phone is not connecting to LTE. Call/SMS/Wifi all work fine. I didn't notice whether or not it was doing this before rooting, recovery, and ROM.
It's giving me a "Sign-in to network" notification. I tap it, it takes me to a T-Mobile ConnectMe screen. It gives me a "Get Started" button, which I tap, and it says "We're sorry, you have switched your SIM card between different devices, so you will need to manage your account through My T-Mobile or the MyAccount app. Once you have replaced the original SIM card, you may resume managing your account through on-device account maintenance." I can only tap close. My wife's phone didn't give me this "error". I made sure the APN settings were identical between the phones, they were.
I called T-Mobile, they gave me a bit of runaround, said everything looked fine from their end, and "rebooted the connection" which didn't improve anything. They also had me verify my APN settings with them. They had me enter some different values, but it didn't change anything. They also advised me against purchasing phones from less than reputable sources. Great, thanks, that was helpful.
I switched the SIM cards between the two phones and this one is still not connecting to LTE, the other phone is. This led me to think maybe it was a hardware issue, and looked into the modem as a possibility. I found that T-Mobile updated the baseband last month on the stock 4.4.4 ROM, so I flashed that baseband and no change. Both phones were on NH7 when I received them.
I happened to notice on my T-Mobile account page that the device status is listed as "locked/unknown." So, I called T-Mobile twice today for an unlock code. The first guy was less than helpful but the second person did enter an unlock request for me, theoretically, I am currently waiting for that email to show up sometime in the next 24 hrs. But, the phone so far has not given me an unlock prompt so I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with that unlock code once I get it. I'm also not 100% clear on whether the code is for a SIM unlock (which I shouldn't need) or what exactly. It is just the next in a series of ideas which I'm rapidly running out of. A check of the IMEI number revealed it was clean on all US carriers, with the exception of T-Mobile and Sprint which both come up as "unknown." Don't know if that means anything or not.
I'm getting ready to jam this eBay store up, but I'd really rather the phone just start working. I've been dinking with this for weeks and my frustration is mounting, especially since I can't seem to find anyone else who has had/posted about this problem before. I'm not a cell phone hobbyist or anything, and I'm just going off what I can find on Google and places like this. Any ideas/help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony
I am not familiar with the issue, just some extra troubleshooting ideas...
Have you checked under the battery and confirmed the model number is SGH-M919 and the IMEI matches matches what is on the phone?
Have you checked your APN settings?
Have you tried flashing a complete full stock firmware -

IMEI under the battery matches what comes up with *#06#.
I did check on the APN settings, forgot to mention that. I edited it into the first post, added text in red:

I didn't flash a full stock firmware. I had issues flashing the non-hlos.bin to the phone, which as I understand it is the more important of the two files for my issue since it does the LTE. However, Wifi works perfect with transfer rates equal to the other phone. So, I don't know.
I'm downloading OK3 now. I read about a guy updating his modem by backing up his custom ROM, flashing a stock rom, and restoring his custom ROM. Will TWRP back up my current NH7 non-hlos.bin? If so, can I manually remove it from the recovery image without borking anything?
For your situation, just flash the full firmware. Don't remove anything from the tar. OK3 is the newest modem. Get your phone working and go from there.
Yeah, I think I'll do that when I get home, unless someone has a better idea. :fingers-crossed:

Try to flash the latest stock... Before flashing reset your device (take data/photo etc backup).... Hope that should resolve the issue....
Also what is it showing in settings > network? Is it LTE or 2G or 3G???
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
Thanks, that's the one I'm downloading and I'll try flashing it when I get home. It looks like it will replace TWRP and everything, bringing the phone completely back to stock?
In the mobile network settings > mobile network menu, it shows the preferred network as LTE.
Yes. It will be completely stock. If it works, you can then root and put TWRP on and go from there.
Alright, flashed the afore-linked OH3 ROM and the LTE is still broken. The phone shows up as connected to LTE, but nothing works. Play Store times out, both stock internet browsers time out. I still get the same T-Mobile nag that I got before and it still doesn't let me do anything.
Also got the unlock email from T-Mobile:
Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. We have received your SIM Unlock Request. Unfortunately, we are unable to process your request at this time because we are only able to provide unlock codes for T-Mobile USA handsets. Please refer your unlock request for this equipment directly to the carrier that the handset was purchased from.

Is there anything left to troubleshoot, or do I return it as defective?
If data works for your sim card in your wife's phone and not for your sim card in your phone, it would have to be a phone issue. You can double check if data works with your wife's sim card in your phone.
If your APN settings match your wife's phone with her data working, the last thing I can think of to try is go to Settings, under Connections go to More networks > Mobile networks and check Data roaming just in case your phone is roaming for whatever reason.
If your phone was locked on a different carrier, I don't think you would have cell service. If your IMEI was blacklisted or borked, I don't think you would have cell service.
I'd return the phone.

I will check on those two things when I get home, but my thought process was similar to yours. Both my wife's new phone and the LTE Wifi hotspot we use for our internet service have full signal on LTE everywhere in the house, so my best guess at this point is there's a hardware issue with the modem in the phone. I might look into replacing whatever board the modem is on. If it's relatively cheap, I'd rather just pay for the part instead of waiting 2-3 weeks for turnaround on the return/exchange, but I think that's probably what we're gonna end up doing.
Thanks for the help, fellas. I appreciate it.
