Hi guys! I'm not sure, if i did the threat the right way but i hope so)) Please help me! I just flashed the new Cyanogenmod10 unofficial firmware by jellaxy.com and I'm confused: I don't have any lockscreen in my phone. When I press the power button it just shows the screen-off animation. When I press the button again, it shows me the home screen without unlocking. HELP!!!
Did you wipe before install?
Also try messing with the settings maybe something turns up ( settings -> interface -> lockscreen )
But I just think you didn't do a wipe and that makes everything messy inside the phone
Thanks

To enable the softkey vibration:
on the homescreen...click the search softkey
then click the option soft key (or menu key)..and click search settings.
then click "on" on every item.
then go back and search "haptic feedback tweaks"
now you get this hidden menu which is your saviour !
turn on "use haptic feedback" and "haptic screen selections".
then go to set down pattern, set up pattern, set long-press pattern and set keypad tap pattern
AND
increase the values on the marker and test ...if it is okay with you just click save and go back.
do this for all the above mentioned items.
The ICS keyboard vibration is enabled by :
settings--Lamguage input -- ICS key board setting --advance setting--vibration duration-- change it to 30ms

@popcorn1122
I followed the steps given by you but when I rebooted the phone, I could not get service. I waited overnite just to make sure that this is not a temporary network issue. The service has not come back. In the meantime I have rebooted the phone many times. Also, I did a complete wipe of data, cache and dalvik and re-tried all the steps again to no avail. Please help.
TIA

Hey guys, I just played around with some ROMing and it works fine, but the lock screen just doesn't show up. I tried everything, including wiping dalvik cache and setting the lock settings on and off - nothing.
Did I possibly uninstall some vital apps? What app is actually needed for the lock screen?
Thanks in advance!

It's the one you swipe if you press the Home button when your phone's screen is off/sleeping.

Did you try my post dude?
Hi Guys
I flashed my Wildfire with Cyanogen Mod 7 a few days back. I am absolutely new to flashing, and this is the first time I ever tried something like this. Flashing was a breeze with no problems.
However, when I was going through the different settings Under Cyanogem mod settings option and by mistake seem to have permanently locked my phone.
I cannot access my phone lock screen to unlock it !
I was trying to activate lock screen gestures and thought I dont need the lock screen slider anymore.
Here are the exact steps I followed:
Cyanogenmod settings -> Lock screen settings -> Lock screen styles -> Disable lock screen slider
I did not even activate alternate mode to unlock !
Please HELP !!
Usually "Disable lockscreen slider" is unselectable unless you have "Menu unlock" and/or "Trackball unlock" ticked.
I think i will have to wipe data/factory reset under the recovery. That's the only option I see, but will loose all my applications.
But then i guess that's the price you pay for such a silly mistake.
But thanks for the prompt response !

There's an app in the market called app extractor, first take a nandroid backup then wipe data, reboot and install app extractor and use it to extract all your apps and data from the backup.
Don't extract the settings data though as you'll have to start again.

Do a clean ROM reFLASH. The best way.
I seemed to have lost my double tap Home to recent apps.. I just went from NuSenseSix ROM 6.1 to 6.8 clean flash, factory reset, wiped data dvlk and cache/ formatted data. Updated the radios and am on the required TWRP..
I tried to set it in Gravitybox Navigation keys actions but still no luck.. I also didn't install the Motion Gestures with Free Your Mind (subsense).. I tried with it earlier but it didn't work so I reflashed everything again.. Several times trying to pinpoint the conflict..
Thanks for any help!

The Motion Gestures only need the in included kernel, Xposed, and Sense 6 Toolbox now.
There is no need for subsense.
As for the recents option, it's because you did not choose stock button configuration in aroma.
So you lost that buttons option in settings.
If you did chose stock button layout, then it will be in button settings to reassign it.

Thanks I noticed in your changelog and posts that I wouldn't need subsense.. Could you remove it from the OP about Motion Gestures?
In aroma, I have been choosing the stock button layout and tried it again with no luck.. but you gave me an idea so this time I chose logo2menu and I have it back!
Thanks for quick response, I've been using your ROM since first released it and love it!
*Update** so I was adjusting my Gravitybox sense6 toolbox and trickster and ended up losing my double tap to home again.. But I did a few things right after that seemed to have fixed it but I'm not sure exactly which did it:
1. In sense6 toolbox> sense mods > unchecked Reduce gap
2. In Gravitybox > Navigation keys actions > Under Home Key > Double-tap action > chose Show recent apps
*note: this didn't work for me when I had chosen stock button layout in aroma installer
3. In trickster under Specific > Screen Wake Control > turned off Sweep2wake, turned off Logo2wake (this might've been already off, not sure), and turned off Logo2Menu. I left Pocket detection and Logo2Menu on
Everything seems to be working fine now
I feel like what I did in #2 did the trick seeing as when I initially installed with stock buttons all the adjustments I tried to make didn't work.. But this time since choosing Logo2Menu in aroma I was able to fix it..
