Htc one v.. bricked or what.. - HTC One V

Sorry if im making a thread for nothing..
I unlocked boot loader, installed cwm and then i go into it and then NOTHING will load.. just hangs.
What can i do? SOmeone please help me.

This should be in Q&A section
Are you very sure the CWM that you flashed is meant for your device ?
CWM for PrimoC is different from CWM for PrimoU.

Moved to Q&A. Please post all questions there, thanks.

[Q] Still S-Off after flashing RUU in bootloader

Hi guys.
I used to run a custom ROM on my DHD. I recently upgraded to the sensation and flashed official RUU back onto my DHD incase I sold it.
It's version 2.50xx. When I boot into bootloader it still says 'S-off' in top of the screen 'PVT ace s-off etc...'
Seeing that I cant flog it, I wondered because it's S-off can I rename a recovery to PG58IMG and install a recovery, then after this just put a custom ROM on SD card and flash it through recovery as that will already be rooted?
Thank you guys, I hope someone can help a noob out =)
EDIT: As SOON as I posted this I found the answer. My apologies. Moderators please delete thread. My bad
Flash the 1.32.405.6 and the follow the "Reverting to stock" steps in the first post of this thread.

Bricked HTC One X.

Installeled CWM Recovery and did not do a backup, in a panic i wiped everything.:crying: I am new to rooting, previously used iOS and Jailbreaking tools. Any ideas where I can get RUU 1.29.401.11/12?
Urgently need help. Thanx in Advance.

If you installed the latest recovery, 5.8.4.0, you can mount sd card as USB device.

Hiiiii blogslogger
thanks blogslogger for the link
When ever installing a custom rom, always make a nandroid backup. Then in recovery do a factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache. Once you've done those steps you can install the custom rom and hopefully it should boot up without a problem.
TUTORIAL
Here's a full tutorial for bootloader unlocking, recovery installing, rooting and custom rom (cyanogenmod 10) installing:

You need a recovery mod
I recommend the official clockworkmod recovery 5.02.8

BRICKED! I'm Falling On Def ears....

I've bricked my CDMA MetroPCS HTC Wildfire S. I tried to install a ROM in Clockwork Mod recovery 5.0.2.8, and it failed. It was meant for my device but it managed to fail, I took all necessary steps (As far as I know.) Now when I turn on the device, it boots into HBOOT FASTBOOT, I only have access to some HBOOT options and CWM Recovery. I've posted threads for help twice on XDA and once on Phandroid, I havn't even had a single response. Can anyone out there help me?
Thanks,
A distraught idiot.

Read my tutorial in the general section. It should work.

It Doesn't Sound Like You're Bricked
I've made my share of mistakes with my Wildfire S and mine survived as this phone is hard to brick. You probably are having issues like I had on my marvelc phone with CWM. Take a look at this first:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2395696
If you don't know how to flash the recovery do some research on XDA...I spent hours upon hours researching this website before I ever even touched my phone.
Hope some of this helps.

Look what a google search brought up:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1761799
Copied from one of the posts there:
"You need to have the HTC drivers installed.
Then in cmd type:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Place the img file in the same folder as the adb files, so you won't have to specify a path.
Good luck."
