Hi guys,
I'm getting crazy...
"sony arc (lt15i)" at each boot it ask me to set the language.
This problem happened when I installed the custom ROM "[ICS]KA17.2 Ice Cream Sony". With this rom I had two problems: the led is always on in home key and at each boot it ask me to set the language. Then I flash with "flash tool" ICS stock but the problem is stll on. The same with "GB stock ROM".
I've tried with many factory reset, clear cache and dalvik cache but nothing...
Any idea?
Maybe you can try reflashing the rom?

I've installed the doom kernal and arconium 7.1 rom. Previously was using arconium 6.0 and random boot loop occurs especially when i was charging my phone, still occurs when i'm not charging.
I tried flashing with arconium 7.1 instead and thought it might fix the issue but sadly it didn't help.
any solution for this? really need help regarding this issue.
Have you Undervolted? Unlocked/locked bootloader? Did you try doing a complete fresh start? So not only wipe user data, but a compete ftf flash or wotanserver flash.

I'm an Arc S owner with stock 4.0.4 and rooted phone. A couple of hours ago I've installed Font Changer (from market) and I began to experiment with various fonts. Each time I choose a font the phone must reboot, in order to apply the font. The last time I did it the phone rebooted, showed the Sony logo and stuck in Xperia logo. I tried pulling of the battery, wipe cache (I've got CWM recovery installed) no good, the phone keeps frrezing in Xperia logo and then restarts. Any suggestion (besides from the obvious factory reset..)?
Restoring the default font.
Or a restoring a nandroid.

Don't understand why..
I flashed the boot.img included in the zip via fastboot
then i went into recovery and installed FXPCM7
rebooted
Stuck on FreeXperia logo for 30mins.
Whats going on?
After you flash the kernel boot into recovery...
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
then go into advanced then wipe dalvik cache
Then flash the CM7.zip
Let me know how it goes - good luck
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- advance > dalvik cache
install FXPCM7
tried it, still stuck on FreeXperia logo
do i need to be on stock when installing it?
I am currently on the enhanced v2 firmware with doom kernel..
update:
tried stock too, doesnt work..
Hm try this
Redownload CM7
using flash tool flash this FTF - It has the newest baseband and largest user partiton
flash the kernel that came with CM7
Enter recovery and..
> factory reset
> wipe cache partiton
go into advanced and
>clear dalvik cache
Then install the CM7 zip from sd-card let me know how it goes
Thanks, but that was the firmware i was on.
I tried that method twice but the same thing kept happening to me
stuck at FreeXperia logo
Just to check if the problem is specific only to CM7 rom itself try installing another rom like Gin2Jellybean - Good luck
I have used various ROMS (all working perfectly) such as:
Gin2ICS/JellyBean
xDarkICS 4.0.3
Xperia NXT
JokaWild
Advanced Stock
So I think it may be just a problem with CM7?
Oh that's strange, try to download it again or try another build from here
tried the stable build now.. same problem :/
EDIT:
Tried flashing doom kernal, this time it actually boots.. touch screen doesnt work but it boots..
Is there another kernal i can use that works?
help please? would love to get cm7

I couldn't get the pad to work so I flashed the ICS Circle fix and the CM9 gamepad one and it worked. For emulators anyway
If theres a proper fix please let me know

I finally figured out how to do it. Go in CWM and delete user data, dalvik cache, cache, and then go to the Mounts and Storage menu, and Format the System Partition. Make sure not to clear the SD partition on accident. Anyways, this is the only way I could get it to work

I installed the stable cm9..flashed the fxp133 kernel..the installation went smooth but my screen touch function is lost..Any ideas??
Eventually restoring to the stock kernel with JJ hybrid..and yeah the touch is working with this one. So is the problem cos of the kernel or the ROM??
I ll tell the sequence which i followed..let me know where i went wrong..i downloaded the ROM, extracted the boot.img, copied the original cm9 zip into the root of SD..used fastboot mode of flashtools to flash the kernel boot.img..then went into CWM..wiped out SD data..then cache..and then dalvik..and then proceeded to install zip from sd..it installed fine..and then i rebooted..it showed d FXP kernel logo and then CM9 bootscreen and then it loaded like it should..BUT the touchscreen isnt working at all..the hardware keys-power and back i checked were working but not the touchscreen..
Where did I go wrong..i am on baseband -72..bootloader unlocked..
You've installed correctly. Possibly a corrupt download, try re-downloading the zip.

I downloaded both official stable CM9 as well as the FXP one on uploaded.to...tried with each of them but with the same result..both cant be corrupt n it wouldnt have extracted if it was a corrupt download anyways..m still wondering whats wrong..
Also I flashed doomkernel and tried installing..again the same..touchscreen still doesnt work..aarghh..
Flash the kernel, wipe data, system, cache, dalvik, battery stats and flash cm9.
It should work...

I did all that but the stupid touch screen issue still persists..wait..i didn't clear battery stats..but do u think that actually might create such an issue?

Wiping battery stats does nothing to your phone. It doesn't change anything, it doesn't affect anything. It cannot be the problem.
Then what do u think the problem is..infact the installation works fine so i think i m not messing up anything on that front..

Probably best to use flashtool to flash stock ics rom and kernel, then cm9 kernel/rom.
I would try another Kernel ... do you have an Arc or Arc S ... does someone know if it makes a difference ?
