Boot loop problem with Font Changer - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm an Arc S owner with stock 4.0.4 and rooted phone. A couple of hours ago I've installed Font Changer (from market) and I began to experiment with various fonts. Each time I choose a font the phone must reboot, in order to apply the font. The last time I did it the phone rebooted, showed the Sony logo and stuck in Xperia logo. I tried pulling of the battery, wipe cache (I've got CWM recovery installed) no good, the phone keeps frrezing in Xperia logo and then restarts. Any suggestion (besides from the obvious factory reset..)?

Restoring the default font.
Or a restoring a nandroid.

i am rooted, i tried to instal a custom red and black market and when it rebooted it just got stuck in a loop. so i took it into recovery and tried to flash a new rom thinking that may fix it..... after wiping everything. i also noticed that my market kept force closing just before the reboot.
the rom installed just fine as far as i can see but all i see is the boot animation that came with the new rom

[Q] Question about Doomkernel

I flashed Doomkernel v13 into my ARC few days ago. Everytime it takes long time to reboot - at least 10 minutes and show several times of Doomkernel logo. Is it normal? Or I forget to do something. I have wipe the dalvik cache in recovery mode. Strange!!
That's not normal. Takes as long as normal here.
Try to reflash the kernel

Another problem is when I charge the phone with charger, it will keep on rebooting. I think i need to reflash it again.

Am I did anything wrong? I reflash the kernel several times, but still take very long time to boot. I unlocked BL and rooted, and follow the procedure.....
Maybe you can download Kernel files again and try with that ?
Re-flash the firmware and flash the ROM. Just backup your apps using Titanium backup.

[Q] Bricked my phone. I need help!

I got a new white T-Mobile GS3 last night, to replace a blue one i had that was having bluetooth problems. Once I rooted the new one I restored a nandroid I had made before returning the first one. For several hours the phone worked just fine, until it froze up, leaving my only choice to pull the battery. When I started it up again, it just looped from the Samsung logo to the Galaxy S III logo. I tried to restore the nandroid again, but it said something about incorrect MD5 sums. When that didn't work I tried flashing back to stock through ODIN. It says everything passes, but when it reboots it just continues to loop through the two screens.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
I would recommend you flash the stock boot and recovery > re-root. Though as a general I wouldn't flash a backup, even if from a similar device, ans things of your nature can happen.
I tried to flash the stock boot and recovery through ODIN, but it still wouldn't boot up. Is there a better way I can flash stock?
Did you try clearing all data and formatting system from recovery?

You shouldnt of recovered your old nandroid on a different device, maybe the data partition but not the full nandroid.
Was this theStock Odin tar you flashed?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737855
Yes, that was the file I flashed
Any other suggestions? I'm really screwed. I can't even use my old phone because of this micro sim card.
Have you tried reflashing the stock Odin tar again?

Yeah. I've reflashed (as well as downloaded fresh copies), several times. Same results.

sony arc ask me to set language at each boot...

Hi guys,
I'm getting crazy...
"sony arc (lt15i)" at each boot it ask me to set the language.
This problem happened when I installed the custom ROM "[ICS]KA17.2 Ice Cream Sony". With this rom I had two problems: the led is always on in home key and at each boot it ask me to set the language. Then I flash with "flash tool" ICS stock but the problem is stll on. The same with "GB stock ROM".
I've tried with many factory reset, clear cache and dalvik cache but nothing...
Any idea?
Maybe you can try reflashing the rom?

Also, last time this happened I reverted back to stock, locked boot loader, and started from scratch, losing everything, pictures, app backups, and I'd like to ha void doing this again if at all possible

What recovery are you using? Update your recovery through fastboot to cwm 6.0.1.0 or twrp 2.2.0.
