Hi guys, i have just encountered this problem, it was fine in the morning but gone wrong later then. The calling audio is not working and also the no sound from callers when answer the call. However Everything works fine, The in-call vol is max, songs can be played, calling using speaker on is viable as well as when headset is put on. The normal call is just not working even though it is factory reset
Mind to figure out what problem is this? thanks!
Freddy
Try flash the latest radio , and another kernel , if this doesn't work you should send back you phone . Have you been in a high humidity environment or drop water on in ?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
i have same problem too ....
i can hear ppl talking to me .. but they cant hear me ....
i have to turn on speaker to talk to ppl all the time
i am not sure its a hardware problem or software problem
i tried the *#*#3424#*#* and did the test .. cant record any thing

Same here. Any ideas yet??
Hi everyone!
I took some time this weekend to look into this problem again. I tried different roms, including different ICS and JB and even went back to stock (nand backup from first day). No success, still no sound from the front speaker when calling.
While flashing i tried both with sim card in the phone and without, i always did full wipe and flashed boot.img from fastboot. Still not working. No app that needs this speaker works, i also tried skype and talk. So i am out of options now. Is there anything i can do? Would it help to flash a different kernel?
I guess the hardware got broken somewhere along the line. Would HTC fix it under warrenty? Does anyone have experiences with that?
Thanks again for all your kind help! I know this might be cross posting but im going to try and get my problem solved in other threads as well.
Regards heintosz..

I had the same issue and got it fixed at the HTC service center. I also had wifi fixed and changed my LCD since there were yellow spots on my screen. Since the phone was under warranty everything was done for free.
Ok thanks, i will try HTC sercive center nearby. Though im on unlocked, rooted device so im not sure how they will react... will report!

Hey guys!
I am fairly satisfied with my Moto 360 and I enjoy using it. But after 5-6 days (around a week maybe) it shows that it's not connected to my One M8. When I try to scan for it with bluetooth, the phone can't discover it. I also tried using brother's OnePlus One, but the result is the same.
The only thing that fixes this is factory reset the watch. Then I have to do everything all over again and it's getting really annoying. Did someone have similar experience and is there some solution to this?
Thanks in advance!

Got a similar problem where after several hours the watch doesnt reconnect to the phone because my moto x thinks that its still connected.
the only solution i found so far is to disconnect through the wear app on my phone, disable bluetooth and re-enable bluetooth.
you could give it a try.
eric
edit: newest android wear update seems to solve this issue
I surely hope so! I tried your method before already, but the only trick for getting it to work is factory reseting the watch. We'll see if the update squashed this bug
well that sucks mate. good luck!
I too am having this issue... my watch shows Disconnected and nothing I do fixes this except for resetting my wtach and reconnecting from scratch.
I also just updated to Lollipop on my nexus 5 through a clean factory install, and had the same issue.
I'm having the same problem once a week.
What solves my problem ist:
Turn off BT on phone
Reboot watch
Reboot Phone
Turn BT on phone back on
Connect through Wear App

This also helps, but only sometimes I hope Google will fix this in the near future. It is a single thing that drives me crazy about this watch.
Hello experts,
Since some weeks when I receive a phone call my SW3 keeps vibrating for 8 or 9 seconds even after I answerd (the phone is a Sony Z3c).
That's really very annoying...
I tried to full reset and resynch, and even reinstalled all apps, but the problem remains.
Suggesions?
Thanks

I'd suggest you to send it to Sony Service. This is not a normal behavior for our watch. I'm also using Xperia Z3C (stock 5.1.1) and this watch (now stock 6.0.1, AW 1.4) and no such thing happened ever.

Thanks for answering.
The problem is that my SW3 is a gift I received: it was bought in UK and I live in Italy.
Very difficulto to get an economical sustainable assistence.
I can't understand the logic, but... since I changed in the phone in settings/notifications/apps with access to notifications/ DISABLE Android Wear
then now everything looks to worl fine.
(I know it looks wired, but... now it seems to work)
does this make sense?
...any more suggestion from experts and/or Sony Tech Sup?

Repair/ upgrade the firmware version in the Smartwatch using PC companion and try pairing with your phone again. Other option would be to goto recovery and do a factory reset in the watch. You can search to find the steps to get to recovery in the watch.

I have a problem with my Z5P Marshmallow 6.0, when i plugin IPhone headphones it doesn't recognize it! I tried with 2-3 other headphones, but nothing! Before that i flashed RomAur 4.2.1, everything was fine, and now i use Soundabout to listen to music. Is there a solution for this? I dont want to use SoundAbout, i want just to plugin and nothing else. Please help me!:crying:
this is the problem which forced me to downgrade to lollipop ! I've tried AboutSound too however it's not working automatically you have to turn it on and off every time and thats sucks and Sony also sucks when they make a huge mistake like this after updating and not only that more then 6 months maybe more there is not even a single acknowledge

It's probably a hardware problem I have to send the Z5P back to Sony 3 times in a year due to the same problem.

Why an hardware problem? Before RomAur everything was fine! I don't want to send back my Z5P, because it has no warranty and i don't want to spend money for that. Is there any solution please? :crying::crying:

Nothing to do with you installing a new rom...it's an hardware problem, the plugged headphone recognition part of the audio jack just gives up at some point out of the blue...
There is a thread about this here on xda already...
And further more here on Sony support site as well...
The only solutions are:
1 - Use soundabout to force the sound thru the jack (as it still works, only can't recognize when headphones are plugged in)
2 - Send it for repair if you can
3 - Use some wireless headphones
Mine also failed about a month ago, solution 1 and 3 work fine for me...can't use solution 2 as the Z5p was never sold here so no warranty and couldn't find a place to have it repaired...
download soundaboat apk from google play then install it after disabling smart connect then select wired headphones from list given by this app
