Yes, It's on the stock rom of google.
Nothing has changed.
It seems like the phone "turned" into a tablet.
Everything works fine besides the mobile network.
Iv'e tried different sim cards, different rom and I flashed the radio again.
STILL DEAD.
Nandroid backup?
Use the fastboot images from Google to return to stock. Then if things still don't work, relock the bootloader and look into your warranty.

Have you tried going into the service menu and cycling/checking that the preferred network is set correctly and the radio is on: *#*#4636#*#* /phone information/
Set preferred network type default should be gsm/cdma auto (prl) and radio should of course be on.

The device is not searching for a network.
It gives me an error if I'm trying to do it manually.
Iv'e tried to fix it with ODIN and now its ever worst.
The phone won't start. I get a black screen with a draw of a phone and a monitor. Between them there is a line and in the middle a yellow triangle with exclamation mark.
I think the phone is absolutely dead.

There's no such screen.
Just a black screen with a monitor and a phone.
No respond to any of the buttons.

right ... actually if the found a way to signed something correctly it will be more "user friendly"
If we could sign something correctly (meaning, with HTC's release keys) there wouldn't be a USB problem in the first place because we would be able to change the SPL.

But the problem is i did it first, cause i am having problems with my mic, it doesn't work in calls, it only works when i turn on the speakers, i tired it to use the mic in another apps like google now, and it doesn't work. Can someone help me?
And BTW ty for the help.
I'm not 100% certain, but usually when you experience a problem like that across multiple ROMs, it's probably hardware related. I've been seeing a few complaints about mic issues in several threads, so you may not have an isolated problem. Try a Google search. If that doesn't turn anything up it may be worthwhile to call Samsung and see if they have any information. If you're still under warranty, Samsung's RMA process seems to be pretty good. Hope you can get things sorted out, and good luck!

My guess is you formatted system, panicked and tried to use odin, then you end up on the 3 dot screen.
Will the next nexus have a longer screen?

I really don't think it's hardware, Cause the mic works perfectly when i turn on my speakers on a call.
I Googled it already. Found someone with the same problem, he went back to stock, on hi jb and it didn't work, then he went back to stock on 4.0.4 and it worked. I think it's a software problem.
I already reinstalled JB many times.

I Know this is gonna look stupid ( it actually is stupid). I fixed the problem, the mic hole next to the mini usb, was dirty. :silly:
Thank you guys for your time. I think the problem was that when you turn speakers on, the mic gets more sensitive, that's why that was the only way i could use it. Well I hope this thread helps someone, cause i looked over the net, and i found some people with the same problem.

Also did you make sure you resetted your flash counter to 0 before u unrooted/?
Yes, I used triangle away, and download mode shows that everything is good to go. Which led me to believe that the .tar file I flashed might have been modified. But I'll give the reset a shot.

How long as it been? It can take a while to boot up.
If after 10min it's still not botting up, go in recovery, clear cache/dalvik and reboot. If that doesn't work, factory reset and reboot.
Now if all of the above don't work, get back in download mode and reflash with Odin.

You don't need cwm to get in recovery. it's already there by default.

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, thought I bricked it because I couldn't get it into recovery mode. Panicked for a while because I couldn't find any answers anywhere, and the laughed at myself when I realized recovery was volume up instead of volume down. Did a factory reset and went from there.

Do you have any devices that still require the g protocol? Most devices today support N. And if that is the case, turn off all the unused protocols (a, b, g). That could be causing some issues.

Replacing digitizer
Hey, my colleague dropped her S3, the Glass itself is not cracked, and the LED display is fine as well, however the phone is not responding to touch input, so it must be the digitizer. Is there a way to replace JUST the digitizer? or is she going to have to get the entire glass/digitizer/led replacement piece?
This is what I'm looking at for the digitizer only.
This is what I'm looking at for the entire LED/Glass/Digitizer
So I flashed the ParanoidAndroid 3.60 rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2131790 ) . After setting up the phone I realised I have no service (although the mobile recognised the SIM card). Then I installed an old baseband fix. After that my desire stopped recognising the sim at all (it worked in my other mobile fine though). Now installed Nick's Phone Rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521514 ) and there it is working fine. I full wiped every time. I formatted everything. Though it is not working.
Any ideas?

You can try updating to the latest radio (5.17.05.23). Do this carefully. Im you mess up, you can permanently damage your phone:
- Setup adb/fastboot by reading this
- Install these drivers
- Download the radio from here. Extract the zip and you will find the radio.img. Put this somewhere where you can easily access it
- Turn the phone off, then boot it back into the bootloader using volume down and power. Then use the volume keys to scroll down and select FASTBOOT using the power button
- Plug the phone into the computer
- Open command prompt from the location of your androidsdk/platform-tools directory, and run the following command to confirm that the phone is recognized:
Code:
fastboot devices
If it is, then proceed with this command.
Code:
fastboot flash radio /path/to/radio.img

Well after trying out the ROM 1 day: The phone now does detect the SIM and I do have service but only temporarily. After like 30 minutes it gets disconnected . Somtimes it even needs multiple reboots to get service again. Else it won't detect the SIM card after a reboot.

Hello.. So today I attempted to flash a new version of TWRP for installing cleanrom and it bricked my phone. I can get into download mode though
So using ODIN i've been trying to install custom recoveries. Everytime it says pass, but I cannot get a recovery to show up. If I hold up, power and home buttons, the Galaxy note 2 will flash (as if its about to load a recovery) but then just goes back to galaxy note 2 screen. I can still make it to download mode, but cannot seem to get anywhere else.
Also, currently there is no rom on my phone.
Please help!

Oh sorry, I wasn't sure what the term bricked actually encompassed. I guess I was stuck in bootloop then.
Well, good and bad news. I got out of the bootloop, and finally got twrp installed on my phone. I did a recovery of beanstalk and also a fresh install of cleanrom. While they boot, they both have been going extremely slowly. Also just loading into recovery is taking super long. I don't know why. I am also not getting any signal, I can however connect to wifi. Anyone have any ideas or any thoughts on how to fix this?
Thanks again!

When I go to mobile networks in settings it tells me "Insert SIM card to access network services" I have a sim and have tried reinserting it multiple times. I don't know whats going on. Also, it seems I do not have any internal storage. It says 200mb in storage that are fully used. When I have cleared everything but the rom.
I may attempt to return the phone tomorrow.

nope a lot of people have that problem you have to remove your sim card and sd card and flash again then reboot i have seen people do this 3 times to clear all the bad flashes stuck on there phones make sure to factory reset too after by being off then hold down home power and volume up when you see the words pop up let go of all but volume up get into the system setting there factory all and restart then once you give it about 10 min put you sim card and sd card back and before wipe the sd card it has been know to cause some problems if that all doesn't work then ya maybe there is something else
good luck
