Hi, I didn't know whether to ask this here or in the development thread, I do not have 10 posts yet so i guess here.
I'm on epic mtd cm7, and was wondering if anyone knew how to disable the animation that happens when you unlock the phone. It just kinda zooms in on the lock or whatever is it. It seems to lag a lot on this part and disabling window animations did not help.
Also, is the lockscreen unlock button going to be themed? It looks a little weird with everything themed blue or green except for that...

Does anyone remember the rotate animation that could be turned on, in 1.5, in Spare Parts? The one that kinda bounced when rotating the screen
I was wondering if it was possible to get this animation on Android 2.2?
I'm running OpenDesire 3.3.0 right now and would love for this animation to come back It gives the UI a more cool/fancy look.

Is there a way to get more fancy rotation animation, and animation in general?
What I mean is e.g. when you open a new app, that the image somehow just "flies in" or does some nice animation.
I recently tested an Iphone and noticed some really nice animations.
All those things are details, but I was just wondereing if someone has already implented something like that.
I already tried spare parts, but it didn't really work out (didnt change anything at all actually??) for me.

If your on a sense rom you can use the UOT Kitchen to add the animations to your rom.
Hello, I'd like to know if it's possible to change the lockscreen to something like htc's theme : sense - slate
and I'd also like to change my answer screen to the same style
drag down the slider to answer, or up to decline
I'm using litening rom 1.4 and I avoided the market lockscreens, I feel like they don't integrate that well with the system.

WidgetLocker worked perfectly for me. Big THANKS! Even let me remove the default lockscreen completely. As result it runs actively all the time so that it can activate the widget locker when needed but it has barely made use of the battery which is good.
The only issue I've seen is a slight flicker when unlocking (hardware key) the phone where you see a frame or two of the screen for a split second after which the lockscreen comes up but this issue has also been on and off.
Definitely recommend it.

i really like this rom!! i just have 2 issues
1) When i unlock screen the title bar flashes quickly and my beautiful widget weather animation
keeps popping up everytime i unlock screen. i've tried in bw settings to see if anything
is set for this and i am not finding a solution.
2) i can't seem to get any of the launcher pro transition effects to work.
i want the cube transition to work when i flip thru screens.
any help would be appreciated.
everything else runs great camera,wifi,nav,market,etc.
i have a savaged zen 2.0.0-cfs-havs kernel installed(great battery life btw)
I've gotten transition effect to work when i rebooted and i see i had the unlock
animation at unlock box checked...doh!!!
Here we go again.. Why don't you try either posting this in Q&A or the actual thread for the rom. Creating a thread in the dev section will only get you flammed.

Any else notice that their crt off animation gets sloppy after a while. Like it doesn't look as smooth as it was on a fresh flash.. I would get a weird white screen for a split second. Maybe its just my phone. When I first flashed the rom it was fine.

same here. flashed different roms and after awhile crt animation looks nasty. trying to find stock animation to remove this. will update when i do find it.
