i really like this rom!! i just have 2 issues
1) When i unlock screen the title bar flashes quickly and my beautiful widget weather animation
keeps popping up everytime i unlock screen. i've tried in bw settings to see if anything
is set for this and i am not finding a solution.
2) i can't seem to get any of the launcher pro transition effects to work.
i want the cube transition to work when i flip thru screens.
any help would be appreciated.
everything else runs great camera,wifi,nav,market,etc.
i have a savaged zen 2.0.0-cfs-havs kernel installed(great battery life btw)
I've gotten transition effect to work when i rebooted and i see i had the unlock
animation at unlock box checked...doh!!!
Here we go again.. Why don't you try either posting this in Q&A or the actual thread for the rom. Creating a thread in the dev section will only get you flammed.

Soooo ... for the past couple days I've decided to give up my Sense ROM on my G2 and switch to CM6.1 Final, with the Gingerbread Theme. But for some reason I can't find a way to install the docks & icons. I've seen on many thread folks asking questions about installing custom docks and icons and I figured I would just start this. If anyone know's how to do it, feel free to post the instructions here.

The launcher that comes with CM6.1 is ADW Launcher. Personally, I prefer Launcherpro. Both launchers have the ability to change the dock background. Try out launcher pro from the market and see which you prefer. Then you can go into the "Appearance" settings and change the dock to a pre-loaded dock or to a custom dock by selecting "custom" (it will then take you to your SD card to choose your custom image.
As for the icons, I use Bettercut found in the market. But if your not willing to spend, then Desktop Visualizer is another great option. They both allow you to change the shortcut icons.

I agree with Nissan. Been using Launcher Pro for about a week now and love it. I tried using a similar app when I was using my Cliq, but it made it super lag. With all the pwer behind the G2, u shouldn't notice anything too drastic as far as performance goes. And if you're overclocked, well then all the better

Damn ADW
I've flirted with ADW the entire day and there is no way to change the dock to anything custom. I'm going to download LP and just use that for my docks/icons and etc. Screw ADW.

Lmao! That's the same way I felt about ADW. ADW uses theme files that you can get in the market. When applied, it changes your wallpaper, icons, and dock background. I'm pretty confident that you will like LP if you don't like ADW.
not only does ADW lack an easy way to theme it but it also lacks 3d app drawer and the flick up app dock is super laggy on Vision, at least it was the last time I used it.... LPFTW!

I also have Launcher Pro. Do u know of any quick way to theme it? Theme as in change the app drawer icons.
Figured it out ... LP is much better than ADW.

i mean the rotation thingy i think its like u should edit it by framework but i dont know how for short landscape to portrait animation effect

Yeah, I miss that, too. Android is choppy enough the way it is - even on a spec beast like the SGS. The missing rotation animation doesn't make things better either...
Hes talking about when you turn the phone to portrait and landscape.
SGS just changes with no animation, where as the iphone has an actual animation where you can see the screen turn.
Would be awesome to have that on the SGS

Hi, can anyone tell me how i am supposed to use a theme for widgetlocker at all please?
I downloaded 3 files and chose the option of install and add, but there is only my phone lock showing, no icons to choose from and no wallpaper that was supposed to come with it.
I have no idea where the file has saved to or anything, and well being new to all of this android stuff i m a bit confused....

Long press on a slider, or press menu then add slider and you can choose theme. It doesn't change the theme as soon as you install.

Sense3 ring widget locker theme
Hello just thought i'd upload a widget locker theme i made and use,
pretty simple to edit,
just put it in sd:data/com.teslacoil.widgetlocker/themes and it shud come up on the app
ive attached screenshots and zip file hopefully they work
and yes im a noob lol
How do you assign the lock homie wsllpaper? I copied the the theme to correct location & naming convention is right but canae see paper? Do you have to save wallpaper to download folder and assign from there or am i losing the plot?

theres an option in widget locker settings under look & feel where you can select a wallpaper tick alternative wallpaper and select whatever you want

I've only ever used this biefly on my old Desire.....this was some time back so my memory is a little hazy
i seem to remember that on occasions that it would either flash up the standard HTC lock screen or require me to unlock one then the other.....or something similar to this
Does this lockscreen work without the above issues (or indeed, any issues) on the S2 ?
is there any lag or any other nasties ??

Works fine on mine so far. always showing the widgetlocker except after a fresh reboot. slight lag on the slider at times. my only concern was battery life but it doesn't seem to affect much.

Hi, I didn't know whether to ask this here or in the development thread, I do not have 10 posts yet so i guess here.
I'm on epic mtd cm7, and was wondering if anyone knew how to disable the animation that happens when you unlock the phone. It just kinda zooms in on the lock or whatever is it. It seems to lag a lot on this part and disabling window animations did not help.
Also, is the lockscreen unlock button going to be themed? It looks a little weird with everything themed blue or green except for that...

Anyways I downloaded the rom but for whatever reason it comes with nova launcher instead of apex which I see in the video review. It's really not that big of a deal but I want the themed app draw button from the screen shots lol.
I cant figure out why I just have the regular app draw icon, is this because they changed it with the newer updates/versions?
I know this must seem very silly but its frustrating the hell out of me!
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Yes its because I changed from apex to nova launcher. I didn't even start to theme Nova since it now supports custom icons and custom icon packs. If you want I could send you the blue image that I used on v1.0 and you can place in your SD card and change it through the launcher.
