Screenshots can happen, with a recently released app. But it requires a Dev.-unlocked system. Give MS time to get that in. Go vote for it here. MS is listening to everything people are wanting. If enough votes happen for a feature, they will likely implement it.

this isn't a bash, but the pictures look bad. i know the desktop on that two-phone shot above has some colors, and it likely pretty, but a screenshot would do it so much justice.
there is always a blur, or a low-light focus/shake issue. more screenshots, and by all means petition microsoft if you have to, but GET THE SCREENSHOTS !

Yes I'm still using a HD2 ...well if Microsoft will insist on only limiting us to three buttons ..and yes I should have de-smudged it before snapping it ...and yes my windows do need cleaning hehe.
This was a quick snap on my window ledge but I love the idea of a WP7 photo competition. Microsoft where are our prizes? If it gets interesting I'll re-take it with a cleaner window when there's a more dramatic lightning filled stormy sky and a flock of eagles are flying past (which of course happens a lot).

I'm here because I believe in helping people get the most from their dash through greater information availability...that and I actually *like* some of the guys on this board.
That having been said, I'm not a fan of Microsoft who, unless there is significant competition from one or more outside sources, will *not* innovate since they know they have consumers by the balls.
I'm all for checking out Android since it's open-source. As it's about the only thing that promises major, widespread, worldwide consumer competition for Microsoft, it will hopefully light a fire under their respective asses to actually improve their stagnant PDA-phone operating system. The supposed WM7 pics and videos might be a start, but they're already way behind.
I've used smartphones since WM2002, and it really hasn't changed fundamentally since then. To use the current political language, Microsoft can only keep putting fresh lipstick on a pig for so long.

However this discussion is about WM7, which the Dash WILL NOT HAVE.
Those Youtube videos don't even show 2 seconds worth of video of the phone, what exactly are we supposed to see?

Wow, tough crowd. I appreciate the video surfacing again, and it shows some things which we did not appreciate then:
1) Sliding panels is coming to WM Professional.
2) The live mesh integration client is pretty cool.
3) WM7 is going to look cool too.
For the people looking for change over the years, I have been using WM since 2000, and I have seen plenty of change.

You'll be able to in WP7. (not "in" the browser but it will play full screen seamlessly).
Looks cool to show off as eye candy but I'd probably end up removing them from the start screen. They just seem like to much useless animation and they don't really go with the WP7 UI.

If I still had WM I would. iPhone offers a much better solution, and I viewed the video from an RSS feed in the video player. Looks like WP7 is going the same route, and I'm happy about it.
About this Sense leak, this would be the horrible reality if MS didn't forbid OEMs meddling with the UI. Luckily, they did and I won't have to tolerate this atrocity.
Its a concept ladies and gentlemen. Don't be so hard on them.

Watched the (very distorted) video on my phone browser. I'm in two minds; cannot say really that I liked it BUT I grew to love HTC ginormous box of tricks. Got used to Sense on my HD2 and the integration of the new Sense with the WP7 tiles appeared not to work. Don't think it's the final version and wouldn't be amazed if it was actually leaked to gauge feedback. Having said that, this is the last shot I'll have at Windows; I know tha WP7 is a brand new OS and has nothing to do with WM. But if Microsoft does not manage to iron out everything that was wrong before and give me an excellent OS (not reasonable, not good, no acceptable) I'll be off to Androidland. Ballmer, it is your very last chance, ever!!! BTW, the Desire HD looks fantastic!

It is very fast, very responsive and surely will be tinkered even more before Oct 11. At long last, it looks like Microsoft is coming together - with W7, IE9 (Beta, still) and WP7. Let's just hope that the Marketplace looks more like a huge, luxurious shopping centre than a poor street stall.
There's just a ton of absolutely useless animations. Look at the Notes app. Do you really want to view that cartoon each time you need to make a quick note?

That is an abomination on WP7 and if I am limited to an HTC devcie on T-Mobile that will be the first thing I remove, just as I did with my HD2. Utter rubbish.
I have to say this looks like a massive disappointment... Sense on my HD2 is very nice - better than stock hands down. On android it seems very nice too, from my limited experience with that. But this...

I remember coming from an Omnia 2 I thought I'd miss swype so very much. I do, but just know that the wp7 keyboard is utterly fantastic. I can't get over how quick it is. Very "smart".

Looks like a fantastic idea. Would definitely get this app even if I hardly take photos. Conceptually it looks sound, but I wonder how far they've actually got with the app as I would assume the video is just a concept they pieced together.
