Hi,
I'm currently running Myn's Warm Android with DZO's kaisimg-panel2-320-tilt-froyo-15-07-10.nbh
Everything seems to be working fine except camera-
Is camera working in the latest kaisimg-panel2-320-tilt-froyo-26-07-10.nbh - or should i be using the 'custom kernel' found here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=660158 ?

Read my sig and link to the nbh I use that has everything working when I used Myns Donut. (NAND kallt_kaffe 06-29-2010)
Using a froyo nbh on any build other than a froyo one will result in a non-working camera, you can use the latest eclair nbh in donut however, just remember to edit the nbh before flashing in order to set HW3D for donut.

NBH: kaisimg-panel2-320-tilt-eclair-02-07-10
Have you tried editing the latest NBH using my editor? If using a Donut build, set it to Donut if using Eclair set it to Eclair and the camera should work.

I'm using an "official" type donut rom with root. I was curios if the cayn 4.1.11 themes would work for stock 1.6 donut roms?
I am curious of this as well
this is what they make nandroid for. it will either boot and work or it won't, since most themes only have .apks it is feasible that it will work, it may require another services.jar though, and if it has Stericson's Lockscreen then it probably will not boot, bc the modded services.jar in it will not work with akirah's rom (i have tested that).
i was searching for this (themes for 1.6) and finally found it today
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=538456
scroll down to post #7 and those work no problems. (with htc 1.6 donut)
as an update... i tried using a few different Cyan 4.1.11.1 themes and none of them worked. Ended up restoring my Nandroid every time.
So it looks like for now theres only Hero and Gchrome for donut?
There are only 4 themes available for Donut 1.6, one of which is for ADP only...they are in post #7 of the link that trexxcrap2 posted above...hopefully there will be more soon...I really would like the fadetoblue them for this build.
plz
can anyone of you post the links of the themes for donut here
i have unrooted vodafone htc magic 32b with stock donut
thank you

There's lots of old metamorphs floating around in the general android themes section. Flashables are harder to find since they're framework dependent. You'll need a theme converter to change the .thm file to a .xml file to use them with the new version, but after that any 1.6 rom should work. But of course, nand first.

Okay this might not be the right place but I got a question.
What is the most stable froyo rom out there for the slide atm?
Meaning with full working keyboard lights, button or as close as possible. Along with the camera and camcorder working great. Just mostly everything working as good as possible. If you could, can you guys give an input on whichever rom. I really appreaciate it because the scene is booming with roms and updates for them. Thank you again in advance

CM6 RC1 is pretty stable, but you might prefer using the Eugene or teamfenix Froyo roms. Worth giving them all a try. I'm currently using the CM6 nightlies.
I just installed the new Cyanogen 6.0.0 RC1, and so far it is stable, however it is the first froyo rom I've tried, so I cannot compare to others. However, camera/recorder works, wifi works (haven't tried tether yet). No FC's yet, and a2sdfat seems to be working without issue.
Thanks for the quick replies everyone! Ill definately be looking into them.

How about swype? I thought the advantage of team fenix was the ability to install swype. Has this been solved on CM6 RC1?
I installed Swype with no problem on Cyanogen's new FroYo ROM. I took the .apk from the kanged/remixed page's Swype link and used Astro to install from SD.

I just had to replace my dinc and am flashing the ROM. So far I have tried WarmZ 2.2 and Virtuous.
The problems I am having is not flashing the ROMs but with flashing the add-ons that the developers are providing. All the scripts are written for the older versions of CM and won't work with the 3.xx versions. Very frustrating.
So now I am running WarmZ but I really miss the battery life I had with the stock HTC 2.6.32.17 kernel. Nothing I have tried yet comes close. I found a link posted by rmk40 for it http://files.virtuousrom.com/inc/kernels/virtuous-kernel_stock_v4.zip but it also is written with the Amend update script so I cannot flash it.
Can anyone provide a dl link for the latest stock HTC Sense kernel 2.6.32.27 written with the the Edify update script?
Thanks..........marc
Try this maybe it will work

Sweet. I'll play with it. Thanks!
Older flashable recovery's are out there so you can flash 2.5 mods try that if amend is tedious

I am running beta1 of Fresh's v4 and I would like to have an SBC kernel so that I can squeeze more out of my battery. I tried netarchy's latest beta 4.3.4 but the camera/camcorder don't work with it.
As anyone having success with an alternative kernel, ie everything working?
Just downgrade to the 4.3.2 version.

Thanks for the idea, have you successfully done it or is it just an idea?

No one else has been able to solve this problem yet either I suppose. I am sure Fresh will get to it when he has time.
Check my signature, bro. That's the kernel I'm using because 4.3.4 was giving me issues.
its a beta based off the leak... not everything will function properly yet...
I'm running Optimized Shift 2.59 and tried flashing incredikernel 2.6.32.27. Everything looked great, but none of the hard keys worked (home/menu/back/search). A quick search in the dev area found one post with a similar problem, but no resolution. Anyone know if this is a common problem?
Thanks.
Sounds like you downloaded the wrong kernel.
EDIT: I just checked and you did get the wrong kernel you need the gingertiny kernel (sense), not the incredikernel (aosp). http://www.incredikernel.com/wp-con...d.php?id=2.6.35.13-gingertiny-v2-12012011.zip
It actually reccomends this kernel in the roms seccond post.
To add to previous post that kernel should work on froyo sense but this is a gingerbread sense ROM. Sense compatibility is not broken until incredikernel hit 2.6.37.
