SOS!!! im not computer specialist so i made a mistake.... I used this ROM
Benko's Ultra Lite & Clean Windows Mobile 6.5.3 ROM , the full and prime version... I didnt make any hspl spl etc... Since then, Im not able to put our phone's old Rom because when it is syncrhonised and im trying to install the Rom, my phone disconects and it shows a Red, green blue, whit picture with this:

you are in bootloader mode...you can flash any rom you want simply using the customRUU.exe included in the rom

restart the diamond from the red button under the stylus and hold the volume down.
the diamond will rise again with a screen with colored stripes, connect the USB cable and flash the rom
im trying to do it and it just goes on black screen, disconnects and then nothing..........................
Okay, download an official HTC rom for your device in the language it came with (look up wiki pages for diamond, you'll find them there).
Hook up your phone to your computer and since it is already in bootloader (the red/green/blue screen) just double click the file you just downloaded and follow the instructions on the screen.
Don't worry...your phone will be fine.
btw...your spl is 1.40.OliNex......that looks like unlocked to me (hardSPL)

May i ask you another silly wuestion? How do I fsh a rom? because in all cases, the phone must be synchronised with the pc.. oh and my phone says"serial" in the white box..

you can flash a rom connecting your phone through usb...then you should see usb instead of serial..then flash using the software you use abitually
it only writes serial... doesnt go to usb mode............. :

this is strange..try to hard reset your phone...press soft reset then keep pressing volume down and center button till you see a grey screen then press volume up and you are done
well im such an idiot! all I had to do was to rename the nbh file to diamimg.nbh an di was renaming it to diaming! this is it! everything is fine! thanks for your time! god bless you all guys....!

I Suggest u use HArdSPL 1.40 Unsigned (Its in the RAR file)
AFTER u have installed HardSPL 1.40 Unsigned
Unrar and go to step 2 folder and run -> DiamonCustomRUU.exe
Just do what it says and update.
After the phone restart copy DiamUnlock.exe from the step3 folder on to your diamond
(Anywhere) and run it.
The DiamUnlock.exe closes itself very fast, i have sucessfully made it by first launching the
program and quickly and several times press up button and touch the screen
if you'r lucky the screen stay and you can sim-unlock your diamond!!

I am not sure you can.
Does it go into bootloader mode? If not, might be JTAG is your only option.
When you say 'totally dead' do you mean you get absolutely nothing when you try plugging in the usb cable ?
Logically as soon as you plug in the cable it'll power on into the tri-colour screen.
It'll do this even if you remove the battery.

Just this **** happened to me too ... because I did not read carefully ROM-destination, but we resolved the issue after a couple, three hours of bloody despair ...
Be sure before you get to work, you already have prepared a full ROM image (....nbh) for your Diamond, that is to contain radio too. If you do not have a full version, download a full version first and make sure that contains both ROM and Radio.
1. Take cover behind the phone
2. USB link cable to the computer and phone
3. Open the phone
4. Enter bootloader mode as follows:
Keep the volume down key and click with the stylus reset button (red button which is located behind the device ) for 3-4 seconds in the same time with the volume down key, then you can get out your stylus, and continued to keep volume down key, until the bootloades screen appears, now you can release the volume key down too.
And now, just simply launch DiamonCustomRUU.exe to start your flash, using a file manager, and is ready ... you have a new phone!

I can't do nothing! It's stuck!? omg! people help me to resolve this!? I try up a new rom but isn't work cause the phone don't connect with windows to change or execute other program, cause the phone are stuck on boot screen!

Here's what you need to do:
Hold down the "Volume Down" button and press reset with the stylus. You will enter the Boot Loader. Now plug in your USB cable connecting it to you PC. On the bottom part of the screen (phone) you'll see USB. Now your PC recognizes the phone.
Start a ROM update through the RUU executable and flash your phone with a different ROM.

i have the same problem where my phone freezes at the boot screen, where it says touch diamond and thw orange writing in the corner. It was working fine, happened all of a sudden after i soft reset it, when the phone initally froze on an incoming call
Any suggestions?

I think not. Don't know if you have a lot of apps installed after flashing. What you could do is find a ROM that's UC2/sUC compliant. If you create a folder structure on your internal storage like this:
ROOT > Backup and Restore > CAB > CABi
Put all the cabs you want on your device in the CAB folder and all the cabs you want on internal storage in CABi folder. After flashin and initial customization you will find yourself in User Customization (UC). It will state that it found a CAB folder, choose to install. After this it will state that it found a CABi folder, install as well. This reduces the effort of installing all apps after a hard-reset. As for messages, contacts e.g. I suggest you use PPCPimBackup.

Try flashing through bootloader. Press reset with stylus while holding volume down. After you're in the bootloader plugin USB cable and start flashing.

tried and didnt work. made it worst in fact :S
startet update trough bootloader, started, updated to 13% and then I was told the update didnt work with my device (or something similar, in norwegian). tried an older update, same problem... :/
when I now boot the phone I'm directly in bootloader, and with the funny message

edit3; 7th time the charm it seems... 100% and all I had to do was sit REALLY still. and I actually downgraded from 2.03 to 1.93 or something... should note that on this point I have tried flashing it with the original 2.03 and 1.93 every other time...
edit4; aaaaand we're back at the TOUCH Diamond screen.
edit5; aaaand after a failed flash to wm 6.5 (stopped/didnt start at 0%)... the phone started... This MIGHT be a clue that I should NOT try to get wm6.5 to run... but that wont stop me

Before you try to flash anything other then a stock ROM, I suggest you take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416211
You need to have Hard-SPL flashed before flashing any custom ROM. My advice would be to use this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=93362&d=1213719705

On My New Diamond having 1.37 Asian HTC ROM i Flashed 1.93 Asian HTC ROM. It flashed successfully then after installing some programs i have done the soft reset after that It hangs on Operator (Airtel) Logo and my phone doesn't start. I have not installed
any Hard SPL.
I have done Vol.Down + Softreset button but nothing appears on screen.

Did you hold the volume down button while pressing reset? After pressing reset you should keep holding the volume down button until the tri-color bootscreen appears.

I don't think you need to use MTTY to flash hard-spl only?
habriz: Try doing a hard reset and see if it still repeats.
Did you unlock your device before trying to flash hard-spl?

@ Joebi: he's saying that the unlock was successful! when he tryed to change for another rom, this stucks on the alignement screen, so i guess he has to format his phone with task 29, i was just trying to help him....
whatever, Habriz, when you're in bootloader mode (when the screen is in colorful stripes: red, green, blue, white) is it written somewhere: <<security unlocked>> and/or <<spl-1.93.olinex>> ? if it is, your phone is unlocked!
Oke I flashed my TP2 , and the flashing had one problems that was the first time I run the flashing rom(energie) it stop on the tri-color screen, and the flashing stopt there so I ran the same flashing rom again wile the TP2 showed the tri-color and it continued the flashing process so I thought every thing is a oké.
Then the phone did it first boot on the new rom and it stopt at the rom loading screen so right a way I knew somthing is not a oké. I tried flashing with sd, hard reset, mutty, 1 minute battery out the phone. I will give these option another go if you tell me how to do it with this phone.:

Go into bootloader, plugin your usb, run task 29. Then when you are finisht, go back into bootloader, plug in your usb. Then flash the rom again true your pc.
btw did you install hardspl? you didn't mention it.

How do i get in bootloader, is that the screen that comes after tri-color screen.

The Tri Color screen is the bootloader. When connected to the computer it should say "USB" at the bottom. Otherwise it says "Serial".
EDIT: What version is your SPL? The unlocked version is 85.

I used the Rhodium-HardSPL_V2_00R3.exe. I am using Radio 2.08.50.05 + task29.zip. I am using the task 29 after is pushed the power, Call, Hang Up, but i keep getting the 260 error. What I am doing wrong.

I cant see the tri-color screen long enough too read what it shows.

Okay. So what exactly did you do or what exactly happened to your phone?
man did ya try to charge it? maybe the bettray is dead and can ya load the boot screen u know just press the down volume button and reset see if u can see the three colors screen if its then dont worry ... worst thing is just re-flash the rom PM me for extra help buddy

Now it only shows an image with orange and

and nothing else since yesterday... I can get it to bootloader tricolor screen but that's all cause no matter what i try to flash it stops randomly at X% and get error update. The only difference was Radio_1.12.25.19 that seemed to work. Hard reset doesn't work either cause i get the same start image with orange and that's all.

I live in Roumania and bought the phone from someone and i don't know where did he get it from... but when i tried the official htc suport they said that my phone was made for Czech Republic and that's why my ROM update doesn't work...

btw did you have any carrier logo before you ran into this problem...i mean like instead of the orange logo did you have any vodafone logo or just the htc logo during start up
AND do you have a front facing camera for video calls?
I had only the htc logo at start-up and i do have a video camera front facing.
Okay i found your stock ROM.
Do exactly as i say....
go to this link and scroll down to bottom...

when you go to the bottom of the page, you will be requested to enter ur SERIAL NUMBER which you just found under your battery.
Enter and press submit.
now select the file Windows_Mobile_6.1_East_Europe and start downloading...
let me know if the download has started also
I started the download ...
Okay good. So once the download complete you are ready to flash...
This is how to flash...
1. Put ur device in bootloader mode again.
2. Connect the device to ur PC
3. RUN the downloaded file....and press NEXT NEXT NEXT....
Reply back if the flashing process is goind smooth or even if you face any problem...
Then i can finally go and sleep
