New ROM for XDA II (Update from Bootloader)

Could you guide to download new rom XDA II 1.66 with .nb1 file.
I found only xdaii_upgrade_16044eng.exe, how can I copy it to my SD and upgrade from bootloader?

no your bootloader cant execute pc exe files
heck if you just copy the nbf file from inside the exe file to the sd card it will not work

i've do something terrible with my XDA II while upgrade rom, and when i restart my phone it's only show serial.....................v1.06 that's all.

I don't think that is going to help you.... I have the same problem.
I am stuck in bootloader mode (1.06 is the new version).
things I have noticed about this bootloader (as I have spent lots of time with it...))
1. The Password BOOTLOADER is enabled on many of the commands (I understand it was not on the earlier versions) in this new version.
2. I have a bunch of XIP roms and even a few NB0 roms, and I cannot just "lnb" or "l" them over as they want start addresses and the lot (defaults do not work for either.
3. As I have access to another XDAII in the morning, I have not tried to erase the ROM on my device with the erase command. Even though I think that will solve the problem, I don't dare tempt fate again.
3a. A way around the Model ID error is to cold boot, or reset at just the right time in the upgrade program (this is when the device shuts off - or goes blank). This will then fake out the upgrade program and it will continue. However, with my problem, I get stuck at the first step of "erasing ROM". IT apparently times out as it is unsuccessful and gives you an error reading something like "there was a problem -- reset and try again" Since my problem is self inflicted (I upgraded but deleted the Radio stack and OS from the temp directory -- something the instructions tell you never to do --> but red letters or bold typing that little fact in the instructions may have helped me not to miss it!!)
3.b Maybe this info would help others in the same boat -- maybe not.
4. I am convinced that the problem is related to the new bootloader version and if I could down grade it, all would be well. But I am not that brave - would rather wait to D2S a good ROM from a good XDA2, then gamble further.

Ayu... XDAII-nya kenapa? Lu apain? Coba sini gue liatin. Telpon gue di 08158014342. Di Jakarta kan? Kalau di Jakarta langsung aja kita ketemuan. Mudah2an gue bisa bantu. Lama2 bule2 sini kayak TAI!! I found 2 files of .nbf, so I have to run XDA OS ImageTool 3 times to copy to SD card right?
Can I don ony ms_nbf and NK.nbf?

no upgrade possible with HimaUpgradeUt.exe
I have tried a lot of different ROM's and different ways to upgrade my MDA II with HimaUpgradeUt. But the result is alwasy the same. MDA II starts in bootloader mode and I can only reactivate the device with a old ROM via SD card (image written via ntrw.exe).
Please can someone help me or can provide a ROM image from his device (MDA II, latest version, german or english).

I am having many problems installing any rom on my pda trinity ..
Can´t do hard-spl at first time, got error 246. Then, appears bootloader, i restart the application, and at the second time could install it .. ( sems odd to me)..can confirm hardspl is installed.
Then i have downloaded the dopod wm6 and when i try to install, get invalid id error at 1%..it stucks in bootloader..get this on it:
TRIN100
IPL - 0.50
TRIN100
SPL-3.03.0000 (why this?? )
Fortunately can install my official rom from htc..
Conclusion: stick to my official rom ( portuguese ).. stake zero.
But someone already had this problem? Or similar?
i am fed up with seeking.. forum xda, trinityguides .. google..all kind of foruns
what i am doing wrong? Have afraid doing the update with a cook rom my pda crashes..
what can i do?? what have my pda ??

From reading the above - I don't believe that the 246 error is your problem. (The 246 error is due to the Rom Upgrade Utility not waiting for the trinity to reconnect in bootloader mode - as soon as the connection is lost you get that. as you have seen, by restarting the RUU - or only starting the RUU when the phone is manually in bootloader mode - you can get the ROM loaded.)
I believe your problem is the stuck at 1% trying to flash the dopod ROM.
My 2 cents: forget the DOPOD ROM - it really is not as good as the cooked ROMs - in this case - "official" is not better.
The 1% sticking problem is a problem with this ROM.
Download another ROM (which one is not an easy question - but I have heard good things about sammy_deluxe ROM if you're looking for a portuguese ROM) and try updating with another ROM. it will work. Patience!

MDA Compact IV - ROM 1.37.111.3 / Radio 1.00.25.03

Heya,
just tried to install a new ROM to my T-Mobile MDA IV with ROM 1.37.111.3 and Radio 1.00.25.03. I followed the Upgrade Instructions on http://modmydiamond.info. On Step 2 when actually updating my rom, which is supposed to take 10 minutes, a dialog appeared on my mda compact iv stating that an unsecure program tries to start and i have to choose yes or no. I choosed yes. It then only took like 1 minute and the progress bar on my pc stated 100%. I then performed the Soft Reset. Now after some time my Device stated its reinitialising itself... in the end my device didnt change and its back to the Original ROM.
I think it has something to do with my rom being unsigned? But i am really not sure since i am totally new to all of this. I tried reading everything up but the information is really wide spread.
If anyone could help my by posting accurate instructions on what i am supposed to do now to get a new rom working. Would be really great, my device is pretty slow atm.

I believe you have just installed HARD SPL .., and not actually flashed a rom yet .. could be wrong though

I installed Hard SPL olinex. In GErman : unsiegniert.
I have after this install der V6 Rom from this sites

help with ROM upgrade and problems with SIM

Hi i have a Diamond that i bought in Russia and now i want it in Swedish.
So i downloaded a swedish ROM: DIAM1.37.413.3SVE
And i have the Unsign-Hard-SPL-Diamond-Oilnex 1.40
So when i have installed the SPL, And the Swedish ROM, Everythings OK, Runs like normall BUT when i put a SIM Card inside the Diamond it wont work, Cant call, The Touch screen will not work right, Its freezing and booting the device... Why? Do i need some "Radio" or whats it called?
Im very new about this som please help me and explain good-easy how to do step by step
When i start the Diamond it says;
R 1.00.25.03
G 52.26a.25.09
D 1.37.00.00
If that says anything?

Hi i'm not an expert, but it's not right that when you start the Diamond it says "1.37.00.00" when in fact you have installed ROM "1.37.413.3SVE".
I would suggest try flashing the hard SPL again, then flash the new ROM again. (and use with the signed version of Hard SPL this time for safety against bricking).

Now i tryed the Signed 1.30 Oilnex SPL. And then flashed again with the Swedish ROM.
When i flashed with the Swedish ROM it says that i have 1.30 Oilnex in the display.
But when i start the diamond it still says 1.37.00.00 is that right?
Still it wont work with SIM inside...

That is not really a problem. On my phone, which works perfectly well, I also only see the major number release (i.e. 1.37.00.00). I don't think that's a symptom of why your phone is not working. You should try to find the cause elsewhere, but I also do not know where you should start.

Yes because the phone is working with russian ROM, But not when i install the Swedish... hmm...
Any clues=?

i've got a Mda compact 3 (t-mobile)
ipl 3.15.0001
spl 3.15.0000
gsm 02.92.90
os 3.15.0.0
sinds yesterday it gives me the message:
Device start up failed due to sudden loss of power.
i've tried hard reset, format etc butt still get the message
now i found a posttread that should do the trick
get it in to booloadermode and flash it with a official rom
butt i cant find on the net
a original Dutch/nl rom ...
can somebody help me ....dont what to do!
