Sorry for my poor english.
I've flashed my ipaq 514 with WM6.1 final (HP514[V1RC1L] from ifolder.ru)
but now it is bricked. When updating the process was slowly to 43% but then the progressbar has skip to 100% and device reboot.
After reboot i see only "No image exists !!" message.
Is this correctible or i have only brick which can i expose to waste?
ipaq blogsoft is respensable
I have the same probleme

sorry if the
text shown below is unreadable or with errors (thanks translate.google.com).
back into my poor english:
In other words i don't know if this is applicable for IPAQ 514 and in post i've seen that device is alive (shows USB/Serial) but in this situation it seems no any interaction. I've tested to enter bootloader but with any of key combinations to enter bootloader mode , what i have found on the internet the operation was NOT successful.
no news at the moment
I find this text but i dont undrestand You just need the installed program DLLs.. what thos it meen
text :
RESOLUTION:
Use a Windows XP computer with active sync (4.5). Connection is not active, but this is no problem. You just need the installed program DLLs..
Connect the 514 to USB, it will show "connected to USB"
Start the upgrade...
If there is an error message "not found", stop the program and restart it.
Bios upgrade will start and after 2 minutes, the phone is running again...
Link : http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1197769
You need only dynamicaly linked libraries (DLL files) , you don't need full active sync , but this is not relevant to this.
In this case (from text that you find) is 514 alive and computer detects it, but in case what we need to solve (now minimaly for my ipaq) is problem in no communication. when i connect my 514 to my PC it does not found new hardware or do sounds like when you connect already known hardware. in other words PC does not recognize something on other end of the cable. And next problem is: author writes that ipaq or pc shows connected to usb but nothing seems to be applicable to this case.
I have the same probleme I've flashed my ipaq 514 with WM6.1 final (HP514[V1RC1L] from the Gost ifolder.ru)
but now it is bricked. When updating the process was slowly to 43% but then the progressbar has skip to 100% and device reboot.
After reboot i see only "No image exists !!" message.
I searching for resolution if I will have news I let it in forum
see you again
Solution!! - it worked for me
this has worked for me:
i assume that you have usb cable plugged into the pc
for english wm6 search hp SP38077
it must match your SKU ID (P/N) otherwise it says you have wrong version.my skuid is:FA908AA#ABB -> SP38077
i have windows vista installed and it works
1) take out the battery
2) remove USB cable if connected
3) insert battery
4) push and hold the silver center of the 4way key and press red phone key (switch on)
or see http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...=3375716&prodTypeId=215348&objectID=c01087938
this will make hard reset
5) computer now recognizes HP USB Sync
if no then remove battery
remove cable
insert battery again
then hold volume down (bottom part of the silver key on left side of phone)
and insert USB
now it will enter bootloader mode and if previosly not installed then now installs hp usb sync
now start HP Rom update utility with your preffered language (en or fr i dont know)
and it will connect to the phone and upgrade a firmware and voila phone is ALIVE !
Please post if you were successfull.
Alwase the same probleme
I make make hard reset with the first solution i see only "No image exists !!" message also whith the second solution and if i conect my device my pc not recognizes my device I'm very angry
there is a diference between HP USB Sync and Microsoft active sync
I dont understand what do you want to tell with HP USB Sync
I have Windows XP
Thank you for your help
Is that i must install Windows Vista
I wait or your help plase
Help me plase
IF I make make hard reset with the first solution i see only "No image exists !!" message also whith the second ; Are you see the message after you make hard reset ??
When I make hard reset with holding volume up and pressing red phone key (switch on) I have a black screen
Have you an idea palse
Think you
Nobody helps ?
i dont know if in XP shows HP USB Sync - but HP USB Sync is mode in which the device is visible for Rom Update Utility (almost in Vista) I will test it in VM
It so terrible with this communication it is so longly. Do you have an IM account (ICQ Skype MSN ?) If Yes then send me your number or nick in Private message and when i will be back to home (in 1 hour ) then we can test it online)
Think you my friend this is my ICQ Number or Email [email protected]

No image exists solucion

Why can nobody answer the question to get sound directed to MONO bluetooth headset? I see many people cooking roms, making apps, testing touch flow but nobody with a real answer for trinity with sound to Mono headset. Lets face it 95% of us are walking down the road with a Mono headset. I would like to here sound from the Media player and the GPS the most. Please dont tell me to search the forums. I have looked everywhere and tried hundreds of bluetooth apps in many different ways. Most of us are using one of the cooked roms from here(great work BTW) and there using MS BT stack. I would like to here from someone that has it working or can create an app. I will even donate to the cause.
have you read this post:

I hav'nt tried it, but it seems to work in some cases

look at Bluetoothaudio here : http://www.trianglepowers.com/
I used this soft with my old QTEK8300, and it worked perfectly.
But currently, it doesn't work on my trinity + Faman 3.4.
Maybe it will work on your device ?
please let me know if it works for you, cause I really would like to have the GPS sounds directly on my samsung WEP200.
There is a simple MortScript which does this. I use it on my M700 and it works a treat.
tried everyone with multiple headsets!
Can anyone confirm that anyone has a Trinity working. I know it should be a simple app. Every app I've tired turns the bt on and can hear a hiss from it but still does not redirect sound!

I explain everything in my scooter forum. Sorry but it´s in spanish and I have no time for translation
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand
Path = \Program Files\BTAudio\BTAudioOn.Exe
VoiceCmdDuration = 86400 (DEC) = 24 hours
Hi. I've tried this (translated courtesy of Altavista's Babel Fish Translation Services), but to no avail. I can hear some sizzling noise on my bluetooth headset, but when I start an MP3 file, it still plays the audio through the phone's speaker. I have the P3600i. Can someone help please? Thanks!
Also no sound
Hi,
have you ever solved this problem?
I fear you haven't I read since days, my TRIN has the skipping problem, but neither unskipping tricks nor redirection works. What a shame.
IsiT_de...
i have never found a good solution. I am using a newer rom eligant 2.11 and it seems to work ok
Donation grant: 6.1 GER + A2DP on Trinity
Hi,
well, your advantage is that you are using an english ROM. I prefer a german one, and here, the choice is limited.
I just went back to WM5, what a shame, since 6.1 performed really well, except this A2DP problem.
I also can't understand why this problem exists - isn't it possible to extract the BT stack from the perfectly working WM5 and integrate it into the WM6? Probably not. If I am wrong: I am definitely going to donate more than a buck if anyone can get 6.1 + A2DP working on a german Trinity, w/o making the machine slow or something worse. And I bet there are other who would join me!
Anyone who feels like trying?

Hi
I have the following Car PC A2270P from Roadrover ( http://www.roadrover.cn/E/productshow.asp?id=49&mnid=19046 ).
Tech specs :
- CPU 400MHZ (manufacturer unknown)
- 128 MB DDR RAM
- 128 MB NAND Flash
- Windows CE 5.0 ( as written in the user manual )
It has a USB port (that reads only flash USB)
It has a SD slot
In the shipped SD 1 GB card, a GPS Navigation application Route66 was included "Navigate7.exe". It is launched by pressing "NAVI" button
Once installed in my car, I found that Windows mobile was "locked" .
Only *.txt and audio and video files can be browsed and executed.
I can not install any additional application on the SD card.
In the SD card I tried the following :
- added dll included in "packdllxania.zip"
- added GSFinder.exe (file explorer), renamed it "Navigate7.exe" instead of the Route66 application.
- Pressed the "NAVI" button hoping that GSFinder will be launched instead of the GPS application. But I got an error message saying that the GPS application could not start
Do you have any idea how to :
- backup the installed Windows and applications
- unlock the installed Windows in order to have a "real" Car PC on which I can install my programs
Thanks for your help
try this file rename autorun.exe to Navigate7.exe make sure the .dll file is in the same folder as autorun.exe it works like a charm 4 me.
unlock car PC
Guys if you have a USB port hook up a keyboard.
Press crtl alt del
Task manager will come up
Kill Mgr app - wait a few seconds "End Now" will apear click end now on the touch screen window will close and you are in Windows ce.

Have any of that worked for you?
There is another way which is to make a file on the SD card named SHELL.SIG
Put the card in and then press the Factory Restart button. It should load Win CE .
But the problem that I am not sure if the DVD CD player and Radio will still work without the factory applications.
Anyone have an idea?
TomTom Device ID work around
Brianbri6
How did you get around a DEVICE ID requirement for the CE 5 Car DVD Player?
I am trying to get any version of TomTom onto a similar device.
Any advice would be welcome, even working TT version numbers would also be a great help.
Thanks

Root the Motorola XT389 with Android 2.3.6
Dear friends this mobile users who were already giving up rooting your device ...
your problems are over!
After long research, I could find a forum that I am associated with the root of the XT389!
Tested and approved! 100% approved without any error!
Follow below correctly questions, please ask!
Making:
1) Download drivers for motorola XT390 and XT389 on the following link: HERE!
2) Install the drivers you downloaded in step 1, make sure your phone is unplugged during installation.
3) After installing the drivers enable USB Debugging in Settings> Applications> Development> USB Debugging
4) After step 3 connect the usb cable in the phone and the computer, the computer will recognize your phone and install drivers, wait until your computer recognizes all drivers.
The following software is Chinese and obviously is all in Chinese, to run it you will need to install a software called microsoft AppLocale (link here) How to install AppLocale on windows vista, 7 or 8: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9t9iZJBwNA0&feature=youtu.be
In Windows XP before running the Chinese application will need to install the East Asian languages: Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options.
5) Now we will download and install the software which will make root: HERE!
6) Installation is easy although it was in Chinese, giving just go next, the only option you have is to uncheck that option is checked at the end of the installation (it will start the program after installation and we do not want that because will give error.) Now that the program is installed, note that he created two icons on the desktop, an all blue and other colors of blue, green and orange.
7) Rename the icon for all bluish Romaster
8) Open AppLocale you installed just now, when you open click next.
9) an option will appear for you to select a file, select the shortcut to Romaster (all blue icon) that is on the desktop and click next
10) It will detect the language of the program automatically, just press next and then finish.
finish Clicking the following program must be open:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If you've done steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 correctly it will automatically recognize your device and it will sync with your handset right away. sync with the handset it will automatically install the control software on your USB device, wait until the program becomes as follows:
NOTE: The program will install a root or two apps necessary for root on your phone, you'll need at least 20MB free on internal memory.
11) At first tab in the program click on the link that is inside the red rectangle:
It will ask if you really want to start the process of root, just confirm by clicking on the esqueda.
During the root the following message will appear:
The root process will take a while and the phone will reboot several times (do not be alarmed), NEVER remove or disconnect the phone during the root process.
Wait for your phone to restart it stop start the system again.
12) After your phone have started normally, close the Romaster disconnect the USB cable from your phone
13) [Optional] Uninstall the app Chinese USB integration that was installed by Romaster Ready your Motorola XT389 is rooted. At the end of the install root checker to verify your phone is really rooted.
Note: After the unit is rooted not in any way disable the USB debugging or root will stop working and the system is unstable.

Help
Hi,
I have followed the instructions to the letter but when I open Applocale and then open Romaster shortcut I get a box with chinese writing (I dont know what it says) with a yellow triangle next to it with the only option to close the box.
It simply not opening or connecting to phone?
I have tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling going back to very start and its still doing it.
Any suggestions?
I would add a screenshot if this thread would let me!!!
how do you change the language on the program?
It works!
I have one XT389 and the program (the link download one updated version...and different) root it!!! Unfortunately the tutorial dont refers to this new version. For that reason I had to walk blindly. Only need to translate from chinese the words "permit" "Ok" "afirmative" and "yes" to guess the actions.
Newsecs declare
I need to find some custom roms for the motorola xt389 and how to get clockwork recovery

Step two is flash TWRP Customrecovery 100% working touch recovery.

I am writing this for anyone to use at their own risk, it is not complicated.
Once updated from Indonesia Miui 11 Android 9 rom to Android 10 and installed a recovery incorrectly and I have returned to
lock my Redmi Note 8 Pro (Begoña) and this time I have not waited for the battery to drain as in the previous one (post # 196)
I have used the Test Point method.
This is what I have done:
-Copied the folder from the Indonesian rom V10.4.2.0, once the zip is unzipped, in Computer> C
-Installed SP Flash Tool v5. 1924 Win also in C
-Removed the back of the mobile and removed the housing that is above the battery (Photo 1).
-Prepared a piece of fine copper wire, I have connected one end to a screw on the mobile plate making ground (Photo 2) and to
the other end I have connected a nail (Photo 4) .Then I have opened the Flash Tool and I have put the scatter that
*it is in the "images" folder of the rom that I had copied in C, and the DA and the authentication file that is in it
*Flash Tool folder and I have connected the usb cable to the mobile, only to the mobile.
-I pressed "Download Only" and connected the other end of the copper cable, prepared with a nail, in the
*point Kcol0 (Photo 3) and I have connected the usb cable to the computer. The bottom bar of the FlashTool has started to fill in
*color red first and then change color until the "Download Ok" symbol appears
*I have done it with the battery disconnected (others say it is connected) and with all the files marked on the
*Flash Tool (others say that you only have to mark the preolader) and it has worked for me.

After a few minutes the mobile has started with MIUI 10 and Android 9, as expected by the rom with which I have done it and

installing the appropriate recovery, this time yes, and doing root
If you have disconnected the battery, open the phone as in photo 1 of the three that I attach.

The first time it crashed I revived it waiting for the battery to drain (post # 196) and now I have it back
to briquet when flashing wrong twrp and I have not waited for it to be exhausted again but I have done it
with a test point.
In photos two and three I show you where you have to connect the cable and privately I send you a link to an explanatory video
because I don't know if I can put links to youtube here.
It worked perfectly for me on the first try.

I definitely would appreciate anything that would get this flash to go through... I already have mine apart and have been trying everything to get it unbricked with no success as of yet...

Your method does not work because it depends on the motherboard you are using, for example the Mediatek uses another type of test point and they are blocked, I think that is why Xiaomi does not want to give more support to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro (Begonia) as devices!
I have tried it several times and it does not work, the only thing is a working method is: Having the volume up pressed until the Mode Flash mode is activated and with the SP Flash Tool. The problem is that it asks for an Authorized Account and it is what I am looking for (of course to payment)
The Procedure
0. Unzip your device's firmware.
1. Install MiFlashPro.
2. Navigate to (installation_directory)/MiFlashPro/SP_Flash_Tool/mi and run "account_auth.exe" (Run as administrator). In the window that opens, log in with an authorized Xiaomi Account.
3. Navigate to (installation_directory)/MiFlashPro/SP_Flash_Tool nad run "flash_tool.exe". The SP_Flash_Tool interface opens. Now you have to select the 3 files:
Download-Agent: (installation_directory)/MiFlashPro/SP_Flash_Tool/MTK_AllInOne_DA_mt6765_mt6785.bin
Scatter-loading File: You will find this one on your stock rom folder, especially on the folder called "images".
Authentication File: (installation_directory)/MiFlashPro/SP_Flash_Tool/auth_sv5.auth
4. Press the "Download" button.
5. Connect the USB cable to your PC but NOT YET to your phone.
6. Hold the vol+ button on your phone pressed and NOW connect the cable to it.
7. The program should now react and start the flashing process without giving an error.
8. Wait for the flashing process to end and enjoy!

I just bought a Dasaita PX6 Android head unit with wireless CarPlay and android auto and I cannot get it to connect to my phone at all.
1st) I have the phone paired to the head units Bluetooth
2nd) I have the phone connected to the hotspot from the head unit
zlink automatically opens and starts giving the “MFi IC read fail.” And then will continue to try to connect and every 30-60 seconds will then display “HARDWARE ERR,MFi read fail#”
I’ve tried this with my iPhone and my wife’s iPhone. Both phones same issue.
I’ve gone to the CarPlay connection screen where the head unit will populate but then when I try to connect to it it just sits there on the phone and never connects.
Same issue here. Did you find a solution?
I'm guessing, but I don't believe you can run hotspot and WIRELESS carplay at the same time. I'm pretty sure it's a limitation of the phone. Try WIRED carplay and see if that works. If it does then try wireless again with the hotspot off.
I have been working through the installation of a Wondefoo Headunit in a Mercedes GL350. I purchased the unit off AliExpress. The headunit has zlink installed. I have an iPhone so was using it for Carplay. Bluetooth and WIFI connect okay to the headunit. The first time I booted up the unit zLink connected and Carplay worked. The device is connected to constant 12v power so it powers off to sleep mode and warm starts the next time the ACC power is activated. After the device powered off to sleep mode it would not reconnect to zLink on restart. The "Connecting" message would cycle until I got MFi Hardware Fail, MFi IC Fail and MFi Read Fail #2 messages. If I rebooted the unit, either by disconnecting from constant power or using RST button zLink would then connect, but would fail to connect after next sleep phase. The supplier was no help. I thought it must be a power issue so I worked through the power options on the factory settings menu. Changing the default power mode from "On" to "Memory Status of Last" fixed the problem and zLink now connects automatically on start up. I hope this helps.

On my unit the factory settings menu is located in the "car settings" menu, which is one of the options under the main "settings" app. You may need to scroll down to find it.
To add to my earlier post, I am still trying to get the diversity antenna working properly for radio reception and I disconnected the headunit to work on that. When I reconnected it the same problem reappeared; that is, not connecting unless I repowered or reset the unit. I went back to the power settings and it was still set to "Memory Status of Last". It's hard to know what this function actually means. I toggled it back through the other options and played around with a few other settings and eventually the problem went away. I wasn't very structured in my approach to this so I don't know what change fixed the issue. I am about to install some heat sinks and a fan to avoid any overheating issues which means I will need to depower the unit again. I will do some more trial and error to see if I can work out what the answer might be. It doesn't seem to be anything to do with hotspot settings as I didn't change those.

Hello. Try disabling WiFi and USB initialization.
Settings MOD - Mod Settings - Car - Check WiFi after reboot and USB initialization
Hey guys, new here.
So I have a Navifly PX6 head unit installed on my 2019 Honda Civic. I’ve been searching everywhere for a fix for this issue and this thread seems to be the best bet.
So I’ve been getting this hardware error code for almost 2 years now. Along with the code, my steering wheel controls stop working and the clock on my dash becomes unsynchronized. That led me to believe that it was the Canbus adapter. I contacted the manufacturer and got a replacement adapter twice now. both times, it would work for a few months and then start acting up again.
I tried looking up the settings you guys are talking about but can’t seem to find anything like it. I’m also on Android 10 if that helps at all
I’ll add that this doesn’t happen all the time, but usually anywhere between every week, to once a month. And I can fix it every time by just resetting my unit via the Reset pin
I don't pretend to be an expert on this issue, but was trying to provide some input on what seemed to work for me. Last weekend I installed a cooling fan and some heatsinks onto my headunit as I have seen a number of reports of overheating issues. To do that I disconnected from the power, and again when I reconnected I got the same error message as you are getting. I tried my fix (changing the power settings) and it worked again. I don't know why. Your unit must have a factory settings menu somewhere. From what I can see online, different manufacturer's put them in different places in the settings menus. If you have a manual for your unit it may show in there how to access the factory settings. You need to be careful when working in the factory settings as other reports indicate you can mess up your entire system. I limited myself to toggling the power options until the problem went away. This may be more difficult for you to do if it occurs sporadically.
Have you considered whether your performance issues might be an overheating problem? Reports on this forum and others indicate that overheating can cause erratic operation.

Still haven't been able to fix it, but factory resetting the system seemed to work for the time being. Be careful though as some of my apps became unregistered and I needed to contact customer service. Car play dongle may help? At least in my case, I think there's an issue with one of the wiring harnesses.

Is there an update that will fix the problem I am having with my radio?
when i turn on my car and the radio is on sometimes the wireless carplay works but when i turn off the radio because i leave the car for an hour... two... two... two days.
When I turn the radio off because I leave the car for an hour...two...a day..... When I go back to the car and turn on the radio, it activates the hotspot so that the radio and phone can connect (wireless carplay), the radio does not activate the hotspot automatically, if I navigate through the settings menu and try to activate it it shows me an error. the power button does not stay ON, and I cannot activate it in any way either manually or automatically.
When this happens to me, I have to hold down the power button on the radio and press it until the radio restarts and again activates the hotspot and allows me to use wireless carplay (sometimes I have to repeat the restart process two or three times until it finally works, again the radio automatically activates the hotspot and the phone works with carplay).

Yes this is the problem with MTCx devices, including modded ROMs. Consider just using the android on the device, if Android Auto is want you want, these Chinese origin hacked devices are not what you want.

hello. the problem is that when i turn on the radio if the access point or the wifi does not activate itself, if i go into settings it is impossible to activate it so i have to restart the radio.
Sometimes it activates itself correctly and even then I have to do another reboot because it doesn't connect to the iphone.

hello, modifying things I have realized that if in the bluetooth settings you deactivate autoconect and automatic response, when you restart the radio the access point is activated and then I only have to go back to bluetooth settings and activate the autoconect and it works.
Is it possible that there is a conflict between bluetooth and wifi?
